Front desk is rude and they take for ever to load. They charge high fees to return things. Overall it’s not a quick stop, going to take at least an hour to get materials from them. The guys in the back are great but the overall operation is just slow and poorly managed.

I am honored to be writing to you today on Yelp about Summit Brick Yard which I probatively view as the finest brickyard in the USA. I wish to illustrate this by telling you three stories from my life. Thats it. No big deal. Just three stories. It started before I graduated high school. My grandfather was a sage of wisdom, a man deserving eminent admiration from me and all other lucky persons that so fortunately crossed paths his beautiful soul. He was one who never failed to uplift a strangers demeanor with his contagious smile and ubiquitous good nature. As a result, I must mention that I have erudite knowledge on this subject, since that I have been exposed to boundless excellence in this area; I state without reservation I am the undisputed grandfather lottery winner. This is relevant to the story of my brick purchase since in his infinite wisdom, he felt very strongly that I should join the Army as my career path following my secondary education. Everything was all set for me to volunteer to join the Army in a time of which America was fighting two concurrent wars. I would eventually participate in both wars, and upon the conclusion of my service I asked myself how do I want to experience this American Dream that I had sacrificed gallantly to protect? The answer, which I share with many of my fellow Americans, lied within the solemn pride of home ownership. From the outset, I knew that I wanted a home consisting of a brick fascia. Being the analytical type, I learned about burnt clay bricks, sand lime bricks, fly ash clay bricks, about varying the amount of space between different grout combinations, about the intricacies that differentiate qualitatively superior brick from their opposition. To me, brick was beautiful, historical, artistically subtle building material in a way that modern composite materials cant capture, and I found it fascinating.I live a great distance away from the Summit Brick Yard, and unlike the preponderance of viewers to this page who were directed by a Yelp algorithm, I was referred by a trusted friend. The astute word-of-mouth confidant was Isaac W., someone who was intimately familiar with the good quality of the business from prior dealings with SBY. I listen to a great many of audiobooks in my car, and presciently I recently heard How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. This would come into play as I used the principles that Mr. Carnegie outlaid as mental checkmarks to decide whether or not I would consummate a brick transaction. Lets not forget about price. Brick is a moderately differentiated industry based upon the different raw materials they use to produce variations in the end-product, but as a residential consumer I was price sensitive. While not expecting any additional favors, I did deal directly with the manager of the location, Julie B. This was somewhat unusual as it is customary to get a quote and deal directly with salesperson. However, since I was referred from someone who had so favorably spoken about the location, Isaac W., he gave me her business card as he explained while the entire staff is friendly and competent, he had especially rosy views of the management team. Kindly, Julie agreed to meet with me first and explain the merits of their renowned product quality. I must say that even Dale Carnegie would be impressed with the way that she not only was able to competently recommend a product and explain her justification behind it, but she also became genuinely interested in my satisfaction as a customer. I ended up greatly satisfied by purchasing from Summit Brick Yard, and my home which is inextricably intertwined with my pride is looking greater than ever.
