Jim at Arizona jet ski is by far the best jet ski repair man in the state of Arizona. He was honest, fair, and worked fast. He always answers my call and is always helpful when it comes to any of my skis. I only use this man for a reason, couldn’t recommend him enough.
Picked up a couple 1996 seadoo xp’s that needed some work. These skis are old and parts are becoming harder to get. I walked in Jim’s place and thought I was in jetski heaven, he had everything I needed that i couldn’t find online and he was a wealth of knowledge for me and rebuilding these skis. Thanks Jim!
Jim at Arizona Jet Ski is legit! We needed a part for our boat that is no longer made and Jim was a lifesaver. He was very knowledgeable and offered a couple different options. He went above and beyond to order the part and have it delivered. We were so fortunate to come across someone who actually wanted to help and knew what they were talking about. I would do business here again in a heartbeat.
Arizona jet ski is the place to go for anything jet ski related. I needed a new key for my seadoo. I called and Jim said he could get me a key programmed immediately. I showed up and he got me taken care of within minutes. Jim was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.
Jim at AZ Jet Ski is awesome. Very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. I am fairly new to owning Jet-skis and he took the time to explain everything in detail. He’s been in business a long time and knows his profession very well. Thank you Jim for getting my skis all dialed in. Well recommend. A+
I needed a new remote and I needed it to be programmed as well. I drove an hour away to this place and highly recommend it, They had the parts I needed for my jet-skie as well. The Owner took care of me right away and Very Knowledgeable of all the questions I had. He made my day and the price was right. This review was worth my time writing.
I have been blessed enough to shop here for years great parts great service and willing to give advice on your project
You want the best service and knowledge in the business JIM is the man.
I have taken my jet skis to many different shops but hands down Jim knows his stuff inside and out. No high pressure sales just solid information backed by solid service. If you want your jet skis done right bring them to this guy best service Ive ever had. Thanks Jim you have forever earned my business!
My 2008 Seadoo Sportster died on Saturday. AZ Jet Ski has done a bit of work for me in the past so I took it right over. The owner - Jim - stayed late Saturday, worked Sunday morning and by 2pm its all fixed and back in my garage. New wear ring installed. Pretty spectacular service at a decent price. Thanks so much Jim! You came through for me again.
I use them for all my PwC and jet boat work. Trusted service provider. Highly recommend them.
Wow! I was so happy to find a person that doesnt take advantage of the situation of shortage and still maintaine his prices and customer service at best! Jim is agreat guy that managed to solve a small problem I had within minutes, where other shops and dealers didnt even know where to start looking! Great local business and extremely recommended!
Jim is fantastic! He saved my boat (and possibly my marriage!)My local lake is 7800 feet above sea level, and my 2020 Yamaha SX195 which is rated for a top speed of 53 mph at sea level could barely manage 31 mph at my local lake. It was such a disappointment that I was prepared to pull the drain plugs and let my lame, slow-poke boat sink to the bottom of the lake! But thankfully, I called Jim first! He set me up with a high-altitude impeller from Solas that he had custom-pitched by Glen at Impros. I took my boat back to my over-mile-high lake this past weekend and the boat ran 44 mph! The boat also accelerated much harder and with very little cavitation. Jim is incredibly helpful and responsive. He also seems to be a genuinely nice guy who sincerely cares about customer satisfaction. Im certainly satisfied and so very grateful! Thank you Jim!!
Been here twice now and had a great experience both times
Purchased a replacement engine from the shop. Had questions about some of my other parts. Jim was very helpful with answers. After assembly I had a water leak. Again Jim was very helpful an let me know what I needed to do to fix my leak.Excellent service. Would recommend shop if work or parts are needed
Wow, quick same day service during peak season. Jim was understanding of my urgency and literally started working on my jet immediately. 30 min later it was done! Highly recommended!
Havent finalized the deal but definitely looking forward to working with Jim. Very friendly and extremely personalized service. Jim has a large lot with an obvious large amount of work on hand yet still manages to speak directly to you.
Jim does a great job on our seedoo boat
Super nice lots of parts
BIG shout out to Jim and Az Jet Ski! Due to unknown blown head gaskets on my AR-230HO two spark plug threads rusted and broke during routine home maintenance. A simple job tuned into a massive undertaking. Jim got me back on the water! Furthermore, Jim met me at the lake for an in-the-water engine run and discovered another small problem which hes diligently chasing down. Jim is an honest professional and has my strongest recommendation for repairing your water toys!
Everything jet ski and beyond.
Ive been going here for years for our jet ski problems. We have 2004 Yamaha Waverunner which had to have to have a complete engine overhaul due to us putting gas in the oil. AZ Jet Ski explained step by step instructions on what they were going to fix it. While our other ski, a 1999 Kawasaki Ultra 150, has never had any major issues such as this, it still needs regular tune ups which AZ Jet Ski does at a reasonable cost and within a short time period, a week at most. I would not go anywhere else in the valley after going to AZ Jet Ski and learning of Jim’s excellent customer service and workmanship.
Great service and trustworthy staff. I had work recently performed on my wave runners fuel pump and am more than pleased with my experience. I highly recommend this shop.
Definitely earned a return customer.. honest and to the point.. thank you
Great little shop the customer service is killer the guy really knows what he is doing and helps you out. Best shop in the area hands down
Hands down the best Jet ski shop in Arizona. Jim the owner personally will call you to check in and update you on the status of your ski. I learned a ton from our conversations, he’s always at the shop and will answer all your questions. My ski has never run better, I trust him with any of my watercrafts and I will never go anywhere else!
Best jet ski shop in Arizona hands down, the owner Jim is always at the shop and more than willing to help you out with all of your watercraft needs. Head down and see Jim for amazing service.
This is the best place in az to take your personal watercraft and Jim the owner knows everything there is to know about jet skis and he delivers 5 star service with a smile and treats u like family
I called AZ Jet Ski at about 5:55 p.m. day after the 4th of July, I reached Jim Ferrin the owner. I had bummer news on my end, my jet ski isnt running and Im not out enjoying the water with friends. We talked about the issue, he had knowledge to help me, I explained I was 30 min away. As a good man he is, told me to just come by and hed be there waiting after hours to help me out, outstanding character on his part if you ask me. We got there and he had parts for juss about anything, if you cant find something, hell probably have or have ways of getting it. Hes been into the sport since a young age and has the most knowledge of anyone Ive met when it comes to jet skis. He taught me free knowledge and juss all around is a great guy. As a regular customer, I greatly Express that you should take all of your business here if you want things done by a professional with thorough knowledge and years of experience with amazing character to top it off. To end my experience with Jim, my Jet Ski is running and my weekend of fun was saved. Thank you AZ Jet Ski!!!
Jim is a real good mechanic. Any problems I ever had with my ski he has done a excellent job getting it fixed
Jim is very helpful.. he told me to try a couple things before I brought the ski in.
They seemed very friendly and knowledgeable at first. I needed a new motor in my stand up jet ski, they quoted me around 1500 for new motor and installation plus or minus 100$. So I went ahead and dropped it off. But befor I left I paid the 800 or so for the new motor so my bill wouldnt be quite as big when I picked it up. They told me give them about 3 weeks bring it would take almost two for it to get there. So 3 weeks later I called, and said hows it going. They told me that the new motor just came in and sorry it took longer than expected. And me being a nice guy I said no worries thanks for letting me know. So 3 weeks later I called and they said it would be ready in the next 24 hours. One week after that I called and they once told me again it will be ready in 24 hours (they told me it had taken longer than expected beacuse of there busy time of year) at this point I was getting mad. But they called me 1 day later saying it was ready for pick up, befor I hung up I asked how much it would be and he told me he will have it added up by the time I get there. I expect it to be around $700 or so... by the time I got there he told me $1,600 for it and it shocked me I couldnt understand how they had 8 hours of labor to put the motor in. I took it in with the motor out and the hull cleaned all they had to do was put the motor in and it took 8 hours? That was ridiculous. Plus hundreds in extra parts.. by far my worst experience ever with any shop. The most expensive and worst service I have ever had. DO NOT GO HERE.
Fantastic customer service
Very good service, and honest if they can save you money they will,
Very knowledgeable staff that will get you back on the water!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Got all I needed. Thank you!
Do not go here for any services or repairs. There prices change like the stock market. There web site prices are fake just to get you in. I called for a price on a top end kit and cylinder boreing and they told me a price way higher than the web site for the top end kit, cylinder boreing was the same as the web site. then when I went there to get the cylinder bored they told me a price way higher than I was quoted just hours before and when I questioned the guy on it he said there website was out dated and not correct so I said ok but I just called and was quoted much less he said I was wrong even though he was the guy I talked to on the phone. If they cant get there prices right then how can they get any repairs right. Do not be fooled by there website its fake.
We are now on our 3rd Seadoo Jet Boat, all 3 boats have been serviced by Jim @ AZ Jet Ski. We wont take it anywhere else because Jim is always the best. Quality work at a reasonable price, doesnt try and sell you on stuff you dont need.
I am a pretty mechanically inclined person and I troubleshot my ski to the point where there were very few things that could be wrong. I emailed that list of things that had already been checked to the shop. I have 2 identical skis and the other one ran fine.It has some sort of electrical problem and would not turn over the motor.I took the Ski to Arizona Jet Ski to ask if they could hook it up to their computer to tell me what I may have missed when troubleshooting it myself. (bad connector, some random sensor, etc.)Jim started out pretty helpful but when he found out I only wanted a diagnostic instead of a repair (that he could charge me through the nose for) he immediately became extremely unhelpful. He told me it could take up to a week before they could even look at it and then gave me the choice to leave it or dont, he said he had plenty of other paying customers that he would help before me.In other words, because I was not going to pay them to fix it, he didnt care whether or not he earned my business. When I was wavering on whether or not to leave my ski he stated that he had a real good idea of what might be wrong and it would probably only take a couple hours and a few Shop parts to fix it. I asked if he would be willing to share his thoughts, to make sure it wasnt something I had already checked, he completely refused to even talk about it.I understand the guy wanting to make a few bucks on his knowledge so I even offered to pay him for just his advice and he still refused. At this point in hindsight I honestly think he was just baiting me in for a service visit and he had no ideas at all. Keep reading and you will see why.Because I was out of options for troubleshooting it myself (I do not have a computer tester), I decided to leave the ski. I left it early Monday morning when the shop first opened and was shocked to hear back from him on Wednesday afternoon. Jim asked me to bring in the MPEM (Computer brain) from my 2nd working ski, even though I already told them that I swapped the MPEMs around and the good ski worked fine with the bad skis computer. This gave me a glimmer of hope that maybe he was just in a bad mood on Monday morning and he was trying to make up for his attitude by helping me out and finding the problem quicker than he quoted.I was wrong!Fast forward to Friday. I called Jim when they opened around 10:00am and he told me they had One more thing to check and it would likely be A few more hours.I am trying to sell the jet skis and had people waiting to look at the one that was running so I went back into the shop at about 12:30pm to pickup the MPEM that I dropped off 2 days before so I could run the good ski for potential buyers. When I got there my ski was back out in front of the shop with the other machines that were waiting for service. (Not in the back with one more thing to check)When Jim saw me walk in the door his exact words to me were What are you doing here? I already told you it would be a few more hours. so I told him I wanted to other MPEM back and I would let him finish his final test, besides I kinda thought that 12:30 was a few hours after 10:00, am I wrong???Fast forward again, its now Sunday morning and the shop is closed until tomorrow. I have not heard another word from them since I picked up the MPEM on Friday.I will be going in to pick up my ski and NEVER doing business with this establishment again. I learn my lessons the first time.I can only imagine that I will be charged some astronomical troubleshooting fee (he stated $120/hr and said he had hours into it on Friday) and still not know what is wrong with the ski.I probably could have purchased a tester ($399 on ebay) and fixed it myself by now for the same price he will tell me I owe them for not telling me anything I didnt already know.I will update this review on Monday when I pickup the ski. I want to be fair to the shop and the people reading this by giving an accurate account of the entire process.Hopefully this ends better than it began.
Does great work would suggest him to anyone!
