As a business owner I know the value of a fair and accurate business review. A review sheds light on the relationship between business and customer. After my unfortunate experience with American Spirit Arms I felt it my duty to inform the public of my experience. I strongly caution others from supporting this unorganized and unethical business.Firstly, and in all fairness, American Spirit Arms has and solid product. The product finish and quality is good. On the other hand, their customer service and respect for customers is very poor. I further highlight my experience below but as a general concern I would not recommend American Spirit Arms. Their lack of thoroughness, accuracy, and respect for me as a customer was unacceptable.Over the past five years I have purchased four substantial products and various other supporting products and never needed any major customer service support. On a recent occasion I needed a barrel tip modified. I was promised that it would be done in a month after their busy expo. They drew up a work order and wrote down what needed to be done with special instructions on the bottom of the work order that detailed my special modification. I agreed to wait, so I left the item. The following day I emailed them pictures, exact dimensions and drawings of what needed to be completed. I called a month latter and the item was not ready and they gave me a new excuse. By the end of the second month I called again and pressured them to get it done. Finally, they promised a week turn around.The following week I arrived to find that the item was modified completely different than what was agreed upon by all the supporting documents, a completely foul ball. Essentially, the incorrect work needlessly compromised a portion of the structural integrity of the barrel. I requested that they give me an accurate replacement barrel and correct the error. They refused and said they would make the correct modification in the correct area and that was the best they could offer. After arguing the fairness and poor business ethics I got upset and left the store and they locked the door behind me. I asked for my item but they refused to give it back and said they would mail it to me. The following day they called to say that they completed the correct modification in the correct location and said that I could not have my item unless I paid for the changes and shipping on top of that. I told them that the mishandling of this incident was unacceptable and amounted to extortion (Pay us for our mistake or you don’t get your property back.) The barrel arrived correctly modified at my expense, but still had the first incorrect modification in a different location.At the very least, American Spirit Arms should not have charged me for incorrectly modifying my property and replaced it with new to make me whole again. Shame on American Spirit Arms, I will never use their business again and I strongly caution others from patronizing this unethical business.

Really good quality products at a good price. The staff is great, they really take of their customers. Overall a great experience.

I purchased one of their 9mm carbines. The firing pin broke. I called them and got a message stating that they were open at 0900 so I made the drive from Tempe. When I got there I found a note on the door saying by appointment only. Dont waste your time.
