Picking up orders (lights and ballasts) for where I work has been quick and easy every time. Go in and let them know you are there. Note that you will need to go around and load large items at the roll-up door in the back. Friendly good people there. Recommended.

I was referred here by an electrician who said they would have 2x2 light cover panels.I called them around 9 AM. Very courteous and professional on the phone. They said they could custom cut the 60 panels I needed and have them ready next day. ( which was awesome because I had already been waiting on an order for these from Home Depot for 4 weeks!) I was surprised when they called me about an hour and a half later saying they had my order complete and ready for pick up! Everyone working there was friendly and helpful- even loaded them into my truck for me. Thanks for all your assistance in helping me get a project completed without having to wait forever!

I was in need of some speciality light bulbs. The follow up by one of these folks ended up in a personal house call with a box of bulbs that offered a choice that I didnt know I needed and were far better than what I had. I have to share a story about this company. I am a Realtor 28 years, and until today, I have never heard about this company before. I used my GPS when I needed a light bulb for a job I was on at 730 this morning. It was one of those halogen bulbs that had the 2 pins on the bottom, pain in the neck, dont buy anything with those light bulbs in it. Theyre too hot number 1 and you cant find them number 2. So I Drive all the way from 2nd street and Buchanan in downtown Phoenix to City Lights and I show them my bulb. I tell them my dilemma. I had just been to Ace Hardware and came up empty handed, who then referred me to City Lights on 39th and Van Buren. I drive there, and John, the owner, said let me call my guy hes on the road right now, and maybe he can find some. He calls Chris and and he tells him what the bulb is, and Chris says he has them, and John says, bring 10. John gets 20 W and 50 W of them 6 of each. I need 7. Then John says, meet Michelle at 2nd street and Buchanan and see if theyre the right bulbs and see if they fit. Guess what they did, and Chris was so nice and so helpful and they I solved my problem so I can get my property photographed tomorrow. If that isnt service, I dont know what is! Thank you City Lights, best customer service EVER!

This place has nothing but the best when it comes to customer service. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and know how to find the hardest items. Very friendly environment and they treat you like family, also with great prices you cannot beat. I will defiantly be coming back here for more on my lighting needs. :)

Great place seem to have everything you need in stock with the exception of a few items, always friendly staff, never make you wait very long. Seem to be priced a little high on there LED products compared to there competitors on the valley. But some companies are more proud of there products then others. The same LED item I wanted was 10-20% cheaper at another vendor, but the service there sucked. So if you don’t mind paying a little more for Great fast service then these are the guys to see

Very pleased by the costumer service City Lights has to offer. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable they took the time to answer my questions and to explaining the procedure they had to do when changing our whole bulbs to LED in our small business. CityLights always has great customer service. Even when they’re super busy they always manage to give me fast quotes on some odd ball fixture I need to replace. Always talk to the manager there if you want the lowest prices. Down to earth guy.

Door was locked! They were closing for the day! Man saw me coming, walked to the door, unlocked it and promptly, professionally took care of my visit while being very friendly to boot! I was there for some huge light bulbs for a demolition site. Great price, great service! Couldnt ask for better and will go to the top of the list for the company I work for! Since I do much of the purchasing, its a no brainer!

Ive been going to City Lights for a few years now, always leave with what I went in for or something better. The staff always offers new ways to complete projects at a cheaper cost with a better look than before. It doesnt seem to matter if Im looking for something new and modern or old and ancient, as long as its out there they get it for me. Ive even called them while on the job and had them deliver the product to me so I could complete it! WHO DOES THAT!? You dont need a lot of locations when one can get you anything you need and is willing to get it to you with just a phone call. I send everyone I can here, cant recommend them enough.

This is a Lighting Specialty Store they are one of the few gems of the city when it comes to getting repair parts and stocking hard to get items. They have a fair number of fixtures available to them all our good quality and Ive never had an issue installing anything I purchased from there

I needed a part and they were very helpful in ordering it. But where they really went above and beyond was their customer service. I had to pay to ship the part to their store but rather than charge me to ship it to my home as well, they had someone from their company deliverer it to my doorstep in order to save me from paying double shipping!
