I been to this store couple of times recently during Sundays ..noticed this one south Indian cashier aged below 30 .. shows so much attitude and responds like he is owner of the store.. you guys need to teach him some manners how to treat customers... He has no respect he just chilling on phone.. I like this store they put good offers recently thinking not to go the store when this guy is working.. I like the other nepali staff they are responsive ..
A store carrying a wide selection of groceries commonly used in Indian (from India) households. The store is not too big but they have a decent selection of freezer items such as oarathas, desserts and vegetables. They also have spices, lentils, rice and flour. I would like to see more in their fresh produce section. They are often out of produce, especially curry leaves. Checking can take some time as well because many times there isn’t anyone at the cash registers. I’ve waited over 5 min for someone to show up and even resorted to calling the store’s phone number to get someone’s attention.
Many times they have products which are expired. I did buy couple of snacks and it was full of fungus. Expiration was three months ago.
A good place for sourcing South Asian grocery in bulk. Im sad they have discontinued the Jeerakashala rice.
Local favourite indian grocery store, not very crowded and get everything at decent price.
Please discard all the expired items. Provide good customer service. Put a price label for all the items that way there are no surprises at the cash register.
Good service and good range of selection
I was out driving around looking for a Asian market, when I found this place. It will now become my go to place for any kind of Indian food and I will be making. It had all the spices and everything that I needed at this one stop.It is unfortunate that I didn’t get the peoples names that help me out today because they were so friendly.I WOULD RECOMMEND.
No cleaning or sanitizers available at this location.I was at the store 2-3 days ago and sad to say that they don’t clean their carts nor they have any sanitizers or disinfectant wipes present at this location. When I asked one of the workers, he said they don’t have it.Are we done with the pandemic? At least I’m not aware and I’m sure WHO too.I’m expecting a defensive comment from the owner but remember one thing, irrespective of your higher prices, I still visited this store for support but not anymore.
The good thing about this place is that it has fresh vegetables. Better than Turmeric and Asiana. But thats the only thing. The other items are generic and high in rate. Overall a good place for Indian grocery.
Vegetables were fresh prices reasonable. I like the store except many items do not have a price labelled. This has been an issue for the last year and they do not seem to care to fix the problem. DISGUSTING attitude.
Great store. Has everything I need for Asian food styles.
They can work on improving customer experience. This was my first time visit to this place.
Lotus market has many spices, confident, rice, wheat flour and other items used by Indians and other Asians. They also sell vegetables consider by them. Any vegetarians and people interested in Asin cooking will find this place very useful. The price are very reason anke.
Awesome place for Indian grocery! Specially they have great stock for South Indian grocery as well!
Great experience I had. Great place to go of you are looking for asian food. And price is decent too.
Good Indian grocery
Small but very nice collection of Indian grocery items. The cashiers are very helpful.
You get fresh vegetables and Indian groceries for affordable prices.
This review is specific to 19th avenue Lotus. couple of points1) 50% of the items in this store has no price tags, based on guess work we have to pick and get the price shock at counter2) Veggies are not fresh.. I saw fungus on turia, tindora... fungus and customers have to hand pick from these veggies?3) Prices are bumped and tags removed. Laxmi 4lb raw peanuts are 7.99 in Turmeric, Asiana and here its 9.99. 20% higher than similar stores? Red lable 1 kg pack tea powder is 6.99 in Asiana and here its 9.99. 30% higher premium?Your store is ofcourse not Wholefoods standards as the store is messy and you carry stale foods and 20 to 30% price hikes? NOT justified at all
Its indian store.. prices are slightly high but quality is good. Could give better deals. We support this store because indian vegetables are good here
Perfect Indian grocery shop
Yo Indian..go there to buy all the Indian items. You can buy items ranging from Parke-G to aashirwad Aata and whole lot of other things.
A good store for Indian groceries
Best indian grocery place in the city.
Medium sized shop with high quality products. Little more expensive compared to other Indian stores. Have loyalty program.
You get most of the Indian products especially the south indian. Thats why we were there. Its good.
I shop at Lotus market for all my Indian groceries., fresh 🍎 fruits and 🌶 vegetables. Store is very clean, stocked with really enough quantities.I prefer service with 😊 smile,, which I get from employees like Jai and Neema. They are always very helpful,.Lots of luck to very loyal employees, and owners of lotus market. Thanks for bringing all the wonderful groceries for you community.
You get everything you want and it is more organized than other stores. You get thinks easier. They dont change the place of items very often so that makes easier.
A nice store for Indian groceries. Even though the area is a bit small, they still have good variety of stock and fresh perishables like fruits and veggies. The staff is very courteous and helpful.
Came here looking for chutney but found the freshest veggies and fruits like leeches. I am from Africa and this the closest to organic vegetables I have come across here in the US.
Vegetables are fresh and good. But beware of frozen foods. We brought kawan roti pack home and it tasted terrible after cooking, then we realized they are expired more than few months ago based best use by date on it.
Your go to Store to get most of your regular Indian products to cater to Indian cuisine! Staff is helpful and products are appropriately priced!
Very good customer service. Usually Indian grocery stores customer service is not good. For that I give them a high five. If you are looking for spices this should be your one stop shop. Vegetables are pretty fresh.
It’s less crowded after Turmeric opened up. But the quality of stuff here is far better than Turmeric. Also the customer service.
They specialize in south Asian groceries and have a good inventory. I did find some dates items though, not expired but quite a few months old. Given that they are speciality grocers it makes sense.
Well stocked fresh Indian groceries
Great selection! I was able to get all of the things I missed from India!
Ive not shopped there extensively yet since its not proximal. The other day I picked up a couple of items that werent available at Lee Lees since I was in the area. Considering availability, wide range of selection and good service Id say its worth the trip. By the way I like their little video off of their website as well. Its simple, straight forward and sends a clear message on the benefits of healthful ingredients/products.
Only place I can ever find ferungreek leaves
Good store for Indian groceries and products. Price is high, compared to other indian stores. But you can find fresh vegetables at reasonable price. Staffs are friendly and the place is clean.
I love to shop at Lotus market for all my Indian groceries. They serve fresh Vegetables and Green coconut ( which Ive never seen in other stores in the valley). The staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially Neema .In case when they do not have a stock or which I repeatedly order, Neema texts me when they restock. That is an example of great customer service. We used to shop in Mesa Lotus Market earlier and were very happy to have this store in 19th Avenue close to our home.
Perfect place to find almost all Indian food items & other goods at a very cost effective price....
Good Indian grocery store in North Phoenix. Items are good but you wont find everything here.
I love that the cashier provide undivided attention to each and every customer but that doesnt mean I should have to wait 10 minutes before getting cashed out....needs more cashiers.
Friends, carefull with this grocery shop. Tons of expired items. Expiry date is covered with new labels. Open/peelout the label to see the actual expired dates. Same experience with other indian grocery shops also in the valley.
Fresh vegetables, but sometimes we dont find what we need so have to go somewhere else
Better than other Indian stores available in the town. You can get fresh veggies if you go on Friday evenings.
Friendly staff and they had what I needed. Decent sized market. Great selection of Indian products
Very popular place for Asian and Indian grocery. For Indian grocery items, this place seems to offer slightly lesser price than the Indian grocery stores in this part of town. The produce (vegetables & fruits) section is great for Asians and Indians.
The best choice for Indian groceries in the valley. Its a one stop shop for all your Indian grocery requirements. Its a large store and they usually dont run out of stock. Veggies are fresh. We normally visit over the weekend, and the service is quick despite the crowd.
I wanted to give one star but I did not because it will reflect on lotus reviews but this reviews purely for that lady who does the eyebrow threading. She is so grumpy all the time and not at all understanding and accommodating. I had a one year old with me when I went there and she wanted me to leave him outside, which is ok coz the space is very limited. But she would not keep the door open. And if the baby doesnt see me obviously he would start crying. She doesnt care at all.I would stop going there. As turmeric also got a lady now who does threading. And she is way better.
Do NOT BUY MANGOES hereI am changing my review here, recently I bought whole box of Indian mangoes, they sold it for$36. There were only 11 mangoes in there. On top of that not even one mango came out good. Every mango was bad inside. They probably know it. But still are selling them for more than $3 each. I didnt wanted to get whole box but they didnt have it loose so I had to buy box.DO NOT BUY MANGOES here. These people are looters/thieves.
This place was ok. Small store. I was hoping for a bigger variety of veggies
Nice place to get frest indian vegetables, I like this place when compared to other Indian grocery stores in North Phoenix area.
It’s best place to get fresh Indian vegetables and other Indian grocery groceries.
Good
Old inventory for most of the groceries and snacks.
BEWARE! They will charge you for the things you never brought. Staff is well trained to make fool out of the customer. Please please please double check your bill. I am sure you will find at least one thing.
I had a very bad experience with this merchant, most of the products they sell are expired and labeld it wrongly with fake expiry dates, if there is a zero or negative reviews I would have given, worst place, I wont suggest going there. When I spoke to manager of the store, got a very reckless answer, saying they wont look at the quality of expiry of each and every product they sell, they just rely on the agency who are supplying these Indian products.
Mostly expired goods andwait times will kill you. I once went on a weekend and waited for billing for 30 mins since they have 1 guy manually billing everything . Insanely bad service. Avoid this place on weekendsAvoid and go a better Indian store who treats people like customers.
It’s a nice store . I always find everything I need. There are really amazing person working here . Very good costumer service . One of the employee called Shruti is very helpful, friendly and respectful . Thank you so much for your help . I come here often to buy things and I love this store . It’s one of my favorite store.
This market is some sort of foreign grocery store. Its very small. Ive never been. But it could be something that someone is really looking for or would appreciate having
I searched asian market so I expected a bigger variety but the variety here was Indian specific. I didnt find anything I needed but they have a great variety if I want Indian food in the future.
I came here to eat yesterday. 5 minutes after eating there vegetarian biryani I got food poisoning and vomited for hours after. I recommend not going here. I was sick for hours. Vomiting up biryani when I only ate half of it.
Indian store with many options in veggies and groceries.
Great place to buy Indian groceries. You will find most of the items at decent prices. Sometimes some specific items are not available though.
Carried a variety of Indian products. Store was clean and organized. Staff were helpful.
Great place for Indian groceries, good prices and lot of varieties.
For Indians this place provides all your needs. Enjoy this in Phoenix
Fresh Indian vegetables, snacks and grocery. My experience has so far been good...
Specific food to a specific region. Seemed like the locals enjoyed it, but it didnt have the specific item I was looking for unfortunately. It was semi-clean.
Nice clean store. Fresh produce. No deli or meats. Prices not well marked
Good Indian store with reasonable prices and collection
So much variety of Indian kirana items available at reasonable price with quality. Good experience in shopping.
Good for quick buy of indian items. Bit high price. Better to go Asiana 😋
As someone who is looking for my favorite stuff from over seas I am having a hard time getting anything. I wanted to get a thumbs up and mango pickle. No and no.
Cashier is not that good .
Good place to buy Indian groceries with reasonable prices
Store is good but lacks quality in terms of fresh veggies well nothing is fresh. Other than that good selection of Indian groceries and we like to shop here.
Lucky to have a store which serves the Indian community here!
Very friendly and helpful cashier, the price are affordable, the selection is vast. Its great to have an organic Indian product market in this area.
Good place to buy Indian groceries
Its Ok. They need to do a better job in keeping vegetables fresh.
Good Indian grocery collections. Clean and neat. Please make sure the expiry date before buying.
Best place to buy Indian spices and frozen Indian food. They also serve some freshly made food.
Nice Place for a typical Indian Grocery Shopping. well, its certainly Pricey, but not more than the Greedy apna Bazaar outlet on the bell road. could use more friendly staff though. it dont cost u bucks to throw a friendly smile instead of the tailor cut have a nice day expression.. Sometimes, it sounds like a curse!!
Regular Indian grocery store. Not all the groceries available all the time. Worst of all, no prices marked for 50-60% items. I checked about 2 months back with them and was told they are working on it. Till date its the same. I feel they purposely dont display it as they are definitely costlier than Asiana. I would not recommend this place.
The little sew shop in the left corner of the entry is the best, a nice small family
Awesome Indian grocery store. Everything that you buy is large size. Can consider having smaller packets
We can get all sorts of Indian food and snacks here
Good stock of Indian groceries and vegetables. Fresh stock of vegetables apparently comes Friday evening or Saturday morning.
Vegetables prices are very reasonable, but other grocery items are overpriced compared to the competitors in same area.
Very well stocked. I needed some tea masala, curry masala for karahi chicken, spicy snacks, and a spicy chutney. I got everything I wanted. The cashier was really nice too.
