This place is amazing. Try the paradise island! Great for summer heat overload. Endless options. Many with cream or other additions like Tajin (a lime chili sprinkle) that goes great on mango.

Good choice of flavors, the snow is soft and not chunky like some other places. I also like the drip guard on the cups, it helps keep your hands from getting sticky. The color changing spoons is a nice touch. Pricing is good for the sizes. As snow shacks go I quite like this one.

Overall so freshing some employees make it better then others but I went to another tropical sno n they had only half the flavors n combinations as this one. Its a little shack but I highly recommend

The place is clean on outside, fast and friendly clerk. Love the amount of setup and flavors, dont ever change this.No seating, no drive, its a park and walk up station.The servings are little misleading but thats in reality do to shape of the cups that the reps are given. The ice maker spits out balls of ice so not to much gets in bottom of the cup. So all the syrup runs to bottom, but still tastes great.Love the hawiann drizzle on top worth the $1.10 but I wouldnt pay much more for it.My medium was 4.49 after tax.They even have a calorie index.

I haven’t had a snocone since the county fair in what seems like centuries!! My, how things have changed.... so many options, cute color changing spoons, a fantastic plastic sleeve over your cup with what looks like a UFO 🛸 top that catches your escaped ice. Yes, please ~ I’ll be back with the family often!The hours are great.. 11:00am to 9:00 pm. I’m hooked!

Just went here a couple days ago, I have 5 kids plus my nephew was with me. (2 sets of twins under 5) Our clan can be hectic and the sweet gal working was really patient & very helpful! We will definitely be back! Plus she gave me a stamp card! I didnt even know yall had one! I wish I got her name cause she was just a doll!!

I love tropical sno so much!! The flavors are all delicious, the little cup holders help keep it from being a melty mess. Staff was friendly and helpful. My new favorite flavor is Tiger’s blood. Much better than ice cream on a hot day!

The service here is fantastic, the people are nice, the quality of the snow cones are delicious. I also love how you have a variety of flavors to choose from, plus you can get your snow cone built a different way. (Such as Hawaiian Style)

Love this little stand. The ice is shaved very fine, so it stays soft for a long time. No flavorless ice chunks.They have many flavors and combinations. The people are always nice and patient, especially when my kids cant pick a flavor.Perfect treat on a hot day.

Portion cups are miss leading, as the small we ordered to share ended up with MORE product above the rim than below it! The recommended flavor was way better than we expected, too. They also let us join their punch card rewards program for free. All in all, the price was pretty low for such a high value! We cant wait to return. 🥄

Shaved ice in Arizona, need I say more?! They have probably the biggest variety of flavors and even have a menu with different flavor combinations that go well together. I like that you can also add ice cream to the bottom of your cup and also really like the color changing spoons and ther cups that the shaved ice is served in because if used properly it protects your hand from getting all sticky. But i think overall my favorite thing is the little sitting area outside ordering window. Its like common ground where everyone can sit and enjoy their shaved ice. Definitely recommend its a summertime must

We moved away from Phoenix a year ago, and this place is one of the spots I miss the most. It was always a great treat with the kids. I grew up in New Orleans where snoballs are a way of life in the summer. These are the closest thing to that culinary delicacy Ive found outside of NOLA. The ice is fine shaved to perfection and they are not overly sweet as some have suggested.

This place is AMAZING! First its super inexpensive compared to other icecream shops you can go to. Also they have such a variety of flavors and crazy concoctions you can make. And lastly they add a lot of syrup unlike most places where there is barely any syrup and its impossible to eat because its so packed. The perfect summer treat for all shaved ice lovers.

Ive been coming to this little shaved ice hut for most of my life. When the temperature hit 100 and up, my friends and I would grab our bikes, go play around in the highway construction zone (shhh...dont tell the parents!) and cap a long, hot day of mischief with Tropical Sno! It was always affordable, they always had high schoolers working their first jobs that were friendly to us kids despite the lack of A/C, and the flavor combos were the best anywhere.I dont think Ive seen such a collection of syrups to this day...well, maybe at Macalpines, but thats it. The ice is still soft, the cream is still a great addition, the kids working there are still friendly, although theres A/C now.And I just saw a family with a couple boys, about the same age as I was once, haggling over flavors and debating the best choice.This place isnt just for shaved ice. Its a community fixture - the kind every kid deserves to have nearby. I invite you to stop by on a summer day at sunset. I promise Ill share!

This has been one of my favorite places for a treat since I was a kid. I recently took my own children here and enjoyed our snow cones in the bench in the grass by the side of the building. Such a great little shack.

Best sno cone i had in 30 yrs

I was at the Oasis Car Show at Westgate and got a tropical sno Volcano flavor from their truck. It was very good and I was impressed with the ice.. shaved and melts in your mouth! Great service too 👍

Its usually amazing but today the person gave me something like mango instead of lemon and I came back she said it was lemon I had my friend try it and we both thought it wasnt lemon its OK everyone makes mistakes but she had a rude attitude

The employees are great!! And its a great concept. I think its too sweet. Im probably in the minority. It tasted like imitation flavored sugary water. I was expecting more dense ice, and more like Italian lemonades, with just different flavors, real flavor, rather than artificial.I really wanted to like Trooical Sno, but I just couldnt.Just seeing the Tropical Sno sign, took me from wayyy happy, thinking that I had finally found authentic flavored Snow, to an immediate adrenaline drop.... Yep, over a snow cone. I think if youre from Chicago, you get spoiled, and then theres a huge difference between how its done in Phoenix & how its done in Chicago....

I miss this place during winter! But I will tell you, on a hot summers day in Phoenix when its 110° outside, a perfectly shaved ice cup with perfect flavoring is just what you need. A little hut in the middle of a strip of shops, treasure in the middle of the parking lot and you wont be sorry! Leave a tip!

The best cold treat over the summer you can get! All the flavors just pop! Like no other sno cone out there. Most places are not even really shaved ice, just crushed little mini cubes. And the flavors are chemical tasting this is the real deal and delicious!

It was 116 degrees today! What better place to be than Tropical Sno. The only hard part is picking your favorite flavor from all the hundreds of possibilities. (Root beer float is my favorite. )

Ive been looking for a good snow cone place since moving to AZ from TX. This is the place! The ice is the perfect hawaiin ice that holds the flavor and melts in your mouth. They have many flavor options with unique add-ons. Highly recommend!

One of the few good places to get good shaved ice in Phoenix. I like that they have a punch card system as well. The Bahama Mama with ice cream at the bottom is my favorite.

Great place my family loves it. But i am here tonight 2/27/16 i got here at 7:04 and the lights are all on the open flag is flying but the blinds are closed and a note that says b back in 5 is in the window. I have waited here for 30min and i can see 2 people through the blinds sitting on the counter. I knocked on the window and they didnt answer. This is awful. Now i have to go home to my kid with no tropical sno.
