We hired Desert Sound and Security after a bad experience with another automation contractor. Their service personnel were always very professional and did an outstanding job. They fixed all of the previous contractor’s errors and got our Control 4 system functioning perfectly. They always respond to any questions or issues very quickly. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.
Unfortunately, a total hype at the sales end. Customer service has been completely lacking. We have never had follow up regarding our request for low-voltage control of our pool system. This is after many months. Our sound cuts off repeatedly, and we have to shut the system off and re-boot it. Again, no follow up or even response. The software controlling our ability to control our sound systems was somehow upgraded. We were told to figure out how to reboot it ourselves. Without exaggeration, as we are generally considered good customers, the lack of customer support has been unbelievable. Go somewhere else.
I had a savant system installed by the team and it is so wonderful. It’s a great product and the service from Jim and his crew is first rate.
I recently wrote a harsh review that I will now temper a bit. It turns out that there may have been some reasons for the miscommunication and in any case the team has been much more responsive. Our issues are being addressed.
Excellent customer service and the owner is passionate about making sure all of his customers are happy with their work. He goes above and beyond what is expected.
