Been wanting a nice felt had for years now and was always a bit intimidated when I went into stores along my travels. Finally pulled the trigger here when the owner helped me pick out the perfect hat for me and fit it just right. Nicest guy and extremely knowledgeable!

Heritage is the type of place that you know is special the moment you walk in. Rich is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. I made the drive to Heritage from the east valley because I couldn’t find what I needed elsewhere, and I’m glad I did because now I won’t waste my time elsewhere when it comes to hats. I let Rich know what I was looking for and the speed at which he picked the winner from the wall of hats in front of us was as if I asked him to find the finger attached to his own hand that he pointed with. He got my size and I tried it on, then without me even saying anything, he took note of my head shape and offered to stretch the hat slightly to fit better and with that, I had my new hat. There is no doubt I will be returning to Heritage

Lived in the Valley all my life, and today was my first visit to this store. Wish I had visited earlier. Incredibly vast selection, even in my size which is sold out most everywhere. Rich is extremely knowledgeable, been doing this as long as Ive been alive. Purchased a beautiful hat, which I had not seen at any of the other stores Ive purchased from; Rich had it steamed and fitted in minutes. This will be the only place I shop for hats in the future. Had looked up this place prior from coming to Phoenix from New York City. We knew we had to make time to come here and we were not wrong. We were attended by the owner, who is super friendly and helpful. He knows a lot! Massive amount of hats of all sorts and sizes, if you dont find a hat here is because it doesnt exist - especially Western/cowboy ones. I walked in with my Stetson as I needed to get a fitted hat can, which I got here. Also bought another foldable hat and Ill surely come back next time I am in Arizona. Great place.

I went in to look for a new reno style cowboy hat roughly a week ago. Finding the right hat took around 3 minutes, but I found myself in the store for well over 30 minutes. The owner is an incredible man who knows his trade well. Its easy to get lost in conversation with the staff and blowing the amazing selection they offer. If I need a new hat, this will be the only place I shop at from here on.

Yesterday, a buddy of mine and I went to Heritage seeking our first Western hats. From the first step in the door, it was a wonderful experience. Awesome store! I was in the Phoenix area and seen this place on goggle and decided to check it out. First I needed to find parking I was driving a big rig. Eventually found a parking spot and I walked across the street to the hat shop. I absolutely loved it! The owner was very helpful. I bought myself a new hat. Absolutely recommend this place. I drove from AJ to Buy 3 hats. I got there and the man said they do not shape straw hats. I had called earlier and was told they do. So I didnt get anything.Long drive for nothing andsad Disappointment. Lot of time & alot of Gas!108 miles round trip!!

Heritage Hats was very much worth the wait and the hour-long drive from East Mesa. Fabulous selection. Abundant inventory of great *hats* that fit (not your typical urban, branded team caps); many styles, most of which are hand-made; and custom-fit by the excellent, well-informed staff. Mr. Glissons years of experience and character made for a great day. We ended up with four hats: a Stetson, a Panama, an Outback Hiking hat, and a sun hat; likely the best quality hats we will ever own.

Excellent in both service and selection. The owner personally helped me pick out the perfect hat and than tailored it to my needs. The price was very fair given the brand name of hat. In the era of online shopping there is no comparison to having exceptional in person service and tailoring to truly find that elusive “perfect fit”. There are only a few things that i can swear by in this world, this shop and owner are 2 of them.

Came into the store to find a specific hat I found online. Not only did I find it but also found a wide variety to look from. The store owner was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He steamed and cleaned the hat before my purchasing of it. He was also very aware of the circumstances right now during a pandemic and was careful to distance, wear a mask, and wash his hands (as well as remind me to wash mine).
