Ive only gone there a hand full of times, but every time I went there, Tom was more than helpful and went out of his way to help me out. There was only once when I asked for a chemical that he didnt have, in which case he still tried to help me by calling other suppliers in the area to see if it could be purchased locally.Some of the glassware or equipment may seem a little expensive, but its actually very reasonably priced for the quality. Most cheap glassware has joints that dont seat very well and cant even be held together with Keck clips, but I havent once ran into that here.I cant recommend this place enough, and certainly plan on going there in the future.P.S. I only took one picture while I was there, and it was because the sep funnel was the largest I had seen in person (4000mL I believe), but you can get an idea of some of the wide range of glassware by the surrounding products, and even the chemistry sets above the volumetric flasks.P.P.S. They also sell chemicals that are almost impossible to buy online. Not necessarily due to legal restrictions, but because its expensive to ship hazardous substances (eg: strong acids). Buying them from here is much easier and quicker.

My daughter is taking a chemistry class online and shed broken her glass test tube. I searched for hours on Amazon, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Michaels, the Teachers store and other sites to no avail. I even tried looking up medical supply stores and again more dead-ends. Then I had a thought to look up a chemistry store and boom, there it was and extremely close to me. When I called I thought they were going to tell me that I need to buy in bulk and that wasnt the case at all. I was able to get glass test tubes at a reasonable price.

If you need anything chemically related this is one of thee most friendliest informative and all around great place to get Science stuff at. Look no further Karl and his dad have what you need. And if they don’t have it, you probably don’t need it. I love going to ChemLab. Every time I go I have to schedule it in my day because there is so much cool stuff in there I’m usually there for a good 30-45 minutes just browsing and looking at all the cool stuff and chit chatting about science stuff. Every time I leave there I learn something new. If you have a child that has a Science project coming up and need something to get it started, hit you ChemLab! They are the best store in the valley for all your Science gizmos and gadgets.

Tom is great! Heck his whole staff is great! From his son to the receptionist, they are all there for the customer no matter how big or small you are! Whether your Honeywell or a home hobbyist Tom will try to accommodate you. To the only bad review, if you dont state or even hint to the quantities of chemical/s you want, and these guys(and gal!) take THEIR time and effort to research, locate and acquire what you want, dont be pissed at them when they order 10 or 100 pounds and then ask for a minimum order! Some of these chemicals are NOT cheap or easy to come by and to try and make it AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE, sometimes it makes sense to order a larger quantity. And then what? You expect HIM to have to sit on the rest because he was nice enough to source the stuff for you to begin with?! I say if you have an issue with that then have fun on eBay trying to find what you need! Even if you do find it TRUST ME, the quality is NO WHERE NEAR THE SAME! Toms chemicals are ALL exactly as advertised! IF HE SAYS ITS ACS Grade or analytical grade, then you can take it to the bank that it is and there will be ZERO surprises down the road! This is the kind of place I can end up talking chemistry (among other things) with these guys, FOREVER! if he doesnt have it, he will do his VERY best to get it in! Give them a try! Great chemicals, glass, hardware selections and an awesome staff! All in our backyard?! YES PLEASE! I personally still love one on one customer service!, Go down there, order up what I need, end up two hours later having had GREAT conversation the whole time! from Tom himself to the Crazy Old Guy who stops by to pick up some potassium nitrate to help remove an old tree stump in the front yard, who is kind enough to sit and swap a couple good war stories with you!
