Ace hardware always has the hard to find things you need around the house.. and the best for nuts and bolts.. there staff is aways willing to help you and figure out what you need

I am a grandma with 2 rambunctious grandsons and 6 rescue dogs as well as a fairly large desert turtle and a good size red eared slider in a tank. Fixing things is not my strong point but I know if I go down to Ace Hardware someone will tell me what I need to do and how I need to do it and help me get all the supplies at a reasonable price. Its kind of an old-fashioned hardware store from back home in Ohio. I really love this place and everyones really helpful. I would highly recommend if you are a grandma and dont know what you are doing half the time, they will set you straight.

I dont even google things anymore, I just come to this Ace. I truly wish other stores I go to provided this level of support! I became a new home owner in 2014 and this Ace has been my go to place for figuring out how to maintain and improve my house. Every single time I have come into this store I am greeted and there is always an employee happy to help me. Theyve even been able to help me with questions relating to the care of my camping trailer and how to buff out scuffs in my trucks paint! They seriously know everything. Absolutely A+ customer care.

Full store in a little corner spot. Paint matching went just fine and I was able to finish my ceiling no problem.

Went to Home Depot first. Asked three different employees for a wedge that goes in the top of the handle of an axe to secure the head. They did not even know what I was talking about. Fourth worker did know what I wanted, but said they dont sell it. Went to this Ace Hardware, and the employee immediately knew where it was in the store. $5 later I was out the door.

Everyone is ALWAYS friendly, very knowledgeable about all their products. Hard to find parts and tools the big box stores dont carry. The go to place to get things done.

There was always someone close by who was will to help me find that part that Home Depot and Lowes does not carry. It is worth your time to just go in and look around. If you dont need it now they will have it in the future.I believe that the Ace Hardware stores are Mom and Pop. If that is true or not, I believe I am supporting a local business.

I use this store often. I used to think that any small hardware store was more expensive than the big stores so I would go to home Depot automatically. I started to compare prices and found ace to be cheaper than home depot most of the time.

The people that work there are rude . IF YOU GO IN WITH A BACKPACK THEY WILL AUTOMATICALLY GIVE YOU DIRTY LOOKS. IM THE LAST PERSON TO STEAL A THING ESPECIALLY WITH MY. PROFESSION BUT THEY SURE MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE

Updated Update 3/23/2021I returned to the store this afternoon and found everyone wearing a mask while in the store. I needed some assistance in locating a couple of items I needed and with the help of Holly (one of the store employees) I was able to find everything I needed. Typically ~ this store always has the items for repairing things around the house. Excellent service today and I was very pleased. Thus Im changing the star rating back up to 5 of them.Seems that this place always has just what I need for my repairs. Excellent service!OLD ~ UPDATE: Well its time to remove the 5 stars and get just 1 after stopping in today and seeing several customers NOT wearing face masks or staying 6ft away from each other. Two men talking close to one another near the paint counter without masks and then a female walking around the store without a face masks. No employee enforcement of COVID rules inside the store. There was a nice large sign outside the door when entering the store asking for customers to wear masks, however no enforcement taking place inside.

Knowledgeable Help there. A little pricey, But if you need a special type of fastener... Nut, bolt etc. Thats the place to go. Nothing cheap going on my Harley-Davidson.

Carry Marine spar external varnish $20, brush $3, staff was helpful, in the Frys center SW corner.

This team is wonderful. I was in search for a specific product. They did not it in stock. They showed enthusiasm and pride as they I did meet you the waiting list to receive the product and also treat him with kindness and respect even though it was near closing time.

Havent went to ace in years, but was still easy to find everything.

A terrific example of the rare neighborhood hardware store. Obviously not capable of sticking as much as Home Depot or Lowes, but they do carry a great selection of products. More importantly, the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and willing to help out the customers.

What a great experience. I went up for some light bulbs. I asked where the light bulbs are the cashier told me. I started looking at the light bulbs with in 30 second an associate was asking if he could help. (Never asked for help) This was wonderful as I had 3 different types of light bulbs to buy. He helped and I got what I went up for. On the way out I saw some patio umbrellas my son and daughter in law were looking for, he helped me with 2 of them, took them up to the cashier and on the way up I remember I needed a hose, he said to meet him in aisle? ( Forgot what aisle). He meet me there and helped me pick out a hose. Helped me check out and carried my items to the car. I am pretty sure without the help I could have found what light bulbs I needed, it definitely would have taken more time. I also know without his help I wouldnt have bought anything else. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and awesome associates.Barb

I am giving this day a bad review. Approximately 4:35pm the cashier attending folks came off rude, even prejudice. The couple in front of me where an elder Mexican couple. No they did not speak English however the way this cashier person was talking to them made me want to step in and translate. She never once smiled. I have worked hospital and banking, the best form of communication when you do not speak the language is body language, like a smile. Following that there was a causician man with no mask less then 3ft away from the couple. He was basically right behind them. The cashier did not mention to him about having no mask and her tone became a bit more jolly as they conversated about a few drinks.If you are in customer service you have a responsibility to be respectful to ALL customers.

Well stocked and very helpful and attentive staff. Everyone wore masks, so I felt safe. Lots of parking too.

Absolutely professional staff totally did not have to do what they did. I had a frame that was 3 feet by 3.5 feet and had them cut glass for it, the craft store that I bought the frame from told me the wrong measurements and a lot of issues not relevant to Ace well I took that piece of glass and had them cut it down to 30 by 371/116 and they werent going to charge me I said am paying for the two cuts that where made correct? it took this manager into some shock I believe because I said it like statement not a question. This Ace is always helpful. thank you Ace showing me and anyone who reads this that there are normal amazing men and women still out here!!!! THANK YOU ACE HARDWARE!

Since I was young this place always had things these other chain stores didnt and they always have helpful staff!

They had all the plumbing supplies I needed to complete new remodeling of our bathroom.

Its a mid size hardware store more expensive but you pay for better quality.

Everything you need without the big box cavern. A mask holdout though.

Compared to the many other Aces in the Phoenix area and I have been to a lot. The staff here are always very helpful and familiar with everything in that store. If a similar item is for sale, they actually take you to the kiosk and show you the item and give you an honest opinion comparing the 2 items. Thats where I ask my stupid questions to help make a decision, but they actually know the answers.Great job in teaching great customer service and hiring people with commendable knowledge.

Consistently ignored. I have been here three times now in the past year and every single time i become invisible the second I walk in. About a month back I went in to get some keys made and wasnt greeted let alone helped for at least 5-8 minutes. Today was the tipping point. June 15 2020 at 2:10pm. The reason I give that specific time is because I want managment to go back and review the security footage. I walked in and immediately became invisible. I stood in front of the spray paint cabinet for 9 1/2 minutes before I gave up and found a key holder. In this time I had at least 5 employees walk past the isle while at least 2 of them walked down the isle in between me and the cabinet i needed access to. NOT A SINGLE WORD was said.

The best place to get random nuts and bolts. Helpful staff. Some things are pretty expensive over home depot and lowes, but the convenience is paramount.

This is a perfect neighborhood hardware store that has helpful and knowledgeable employees that help you find what you are looking for. They have a little of everything. It is a little bit pricey compared to the big box stores but the customer service and convenience of its location makes up for it. I recommend this place for small home projects.

The staff is friendly, I had to seek out help though, but theyre really helpful, once you get it. I didnt feel rushed, the associate was thorough, I appreciated his help. Its nice to know I could return it, if needed. It fit and Im good. The cashier was also very friendly, she asked if I was a member of whatever their rewards program is, I am not, she didnt ask if I wanted to join. Had she told me the features and benefits, I might have. This store and Home Depot are equidistand from my house...The center it is located in needs some serious update and the parking lot sucks, very old and the asphalt is crumbly, not enough spaces for all of the stores in the center. Not Aces fault, but it hinders the ability to go there.

They have ZILLIONS of soda-pop from DECADES ago which you havent seen since you were a toddler!!!Really wish they were closer to my home. Im serious, Home Depot NEVER feels like this. I went in for several items. I told the person what I needed. It walked me through the whole store! I didnt have to look for anything! They have amazing knowledge, and I wanted to use certain items and they were fast to tell me what was the best thing to use. If I wanted to use a certain type of paint on a project I am working on. They did advise me on to not use the product that they had. It was much better for me to go to another store that carries a better material that wouldnt damage on what I was putting it on. Never I had seen such superior treatment and service, like I recieved from this Ace Hardware! They rather for me to go to another store to find a better solution to use than sell me something that may damage on what I am doing! I am so amazed on the trustworthy people at this finest place and also find the items that I needed on sale as well! Thanks for the great service!

Very helpful employees

Every time I go in there the staff is very knowledgeable. OftenIll go in looking to replace some large part and they tell me that I could get away with a much more inexpensive piece of that part. Also you can find a lot of stuff that you just cant get at box stores like Home

Its a good store. They pack a lot in such a small space. Its tucked in the corner so I park in back where theres more room. They even have a wheelchair accessible parking spot back there. They have a wheelchair accessible entrance. Employees are really friendly and helpful.

Im never disappointed when I go to Ace Hardware. The people there are very knowledgeable about the items in their store. You never have to look very far to find someone to help you find whatever you are looking for. The prices are right and you feel welcome at their store.

Their commercials say it all that ACE is the place with the helpful hardware man. I have gone in several times where I needed something for a repair that wasnt a stock part. The person I talked to always listened and understood what I was trying to accomplish. We talked it through and always came up with the parts that got the job done. Very helpful people working there.

I had to get a new key for my new pickup this was a computer key they made it with no problem works great and cost me so much less then the dealership. I also found some interesting odds and ends that cant be found in any other stores. interesting store great staff and good product thank you very much Ace Hardware for making my day so much easier.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. Home Depot and Lowes make you think that they are the stores to go to but the hard to find anywhere items are actually found at Ace and the price is amazing compared to those warehouse style hardware stores. Russ just made the most incredible experience had and those at Ace Hardware should recognize him because every customer will surely love the professional, courteous and friendly service he provides. A weeks search for m2 and m3 screws were found in 1 minute thanks to Russ.
