Had an absolutely great time visiting this store. The owner and employee were extremely friendly. The prices on everything were very competitive. I know next time I come out this way I am stopping here forsure!

This place sells fake cards. Dont buy anything that isnt sealed.Update: Rude and aggressive response from the owner. And notice how they didnt deny that they sell fake cards. Unprofessional and disgusting.

Best card shop in town. Wide selection of singles and sealed product. FNM, Pre-release events, and Commander on Sundays are well run. Always fair in pricing on everything, and prize support is great. On top of that, the chillest atmosphere. Love these peeps.

Always great for Magic and Pokemon. The guys look the price up on the spot so you never have to pay more than you have to. Downside is anything thats over MSRP on the internet is gonna cost more here, but its always worth a look at the selection.

Can’t believe I’ve never dropped a review on here! Haters gon’ hate, I took the time to read every review and I can tell ya firsthand the negative ones are bogus. I’ve been going to this LGS for years, I’m not even sure how long to be exact but at least 3-4.Too many good things to say. Prices? Great. Customer service? fantastic. Community? Amazing. Warm and welcome vibe extended to ALL from both staff and other people in the store. Atmosphere? Can’t be beat. They even play movies on the tv with comfy chairs to sit and watch in. No pressure to “hurry up and buy!” You can just come in and hang out.I used to live a 5m walk from another LGS, and drove past 2 more on the way just to go here. I currently drive 40m one way to go. Stop on in sometime, you won’t regret it.

Ive tried to come here twice during posted open hours and have been turned away twice. What a joke.

The other negative reviews are very spot on. Not a single employee there was motivated on selling me a product or introducing me to browsing their singles. Instead they wanted to crack packs that arent even street date in front of everybody. Anyone got any suggestions on an actual GOOD place that has singles and GOOD customer service???

Very laidback place with a warm welcoming vibe. Definitely a go to spot to learn and play various games. Very nice snack and drink selection to munch on while game!

I travel for work. So I go to a lot of LGSs from every state I have both good and bad experiences. This store is one of the best yet. Very welcoming the employees included me in games and the card selection and prices are amazing. Sold some cards and got great value for it. If new to town try them out.

Snapcasters is such great social space! The decorations adds to the atmosphere and makes Snapcasters unique. The Gaming lounge made me very nostalgic. Growing up, all there was was trading card games. To rekindle an old hobby from over a decade ago is such an emotional and great experience! I was new to Magic, but not to TCGs. Zack, the owner of Snapcasters, gave me free starter decks to build a unique deck from. The community sat me through a few matches, and explained Magic the Gathering. In just a few days, I met some great people, made friends, and placed second in a draft pick styled tournament! Thank you Zack, and Snapcaster community for being so welcoming! There definetly arent many places like this. Snapcasters is a gem.

Very welcoming to my girlfriend and myself when we came in for the first time. Im a rusty returning player and shes brand new to the game but the staff and players there at the time were happy to help and teach. We were invited to join in on some Commander games and the store was happy to loan us a deck so we could play. We met some good people and had great fun. We will definitely be coming back!

Always great stock, friendly staff. You can have them pull lists of cards through FB so its ready when you arrive. One of the better LGSs in town. I drive past two of them to go here as I am located east valley.

Honestly its a great place! The overall feeling is warm and welcoming not to mention how helpful the employees are! If you need help fine tuning a deck they are the ones to see!

Excellent local game store. The staff is very organized, professional and nice. Tournament Magic games are also very organized. Their card selection is amazing. They have many of allocated high dollar rare cards. The crowd there is very friendly, honest and inviting. I did not feel like my bag was going to get looked through if I walked away for a second. Overall A+

The atmosphere was cool, the guys playing cards were cool, but the guy behind the counter was not very welcoming. As a customer I felt like I was an inconvenience and unwanted. The guy could have been having an off day. I’m still going with four stars because the quality of cards, prices, and options made it worth my while. I really like this place, I just wish it was a better customer service experience.

Have been going for years and agree that Snapcasters is really my Cheers, you walk in and everyone welcomes you and makes you feel welcomed. It is such a great place for gaming in general. There always seem to be an open table or two, especially on Sundays for anyone looking for a place to chill with other gamer nerds

Snapcasters is hands down the best MTG store in the entire East/Central Valley! BUY LOCAL!! The staff is extremely helpful and the service is unmatched. John, the boss, and Billy the Kid have helped me above and beyond in learning/beginning Magic (never played before in my life). Also I really enjoy the crowd that comes to their events and always end up leaving with a new friend. BUY LOCAL!!The collection is quite impressive/extensive and is offered at a fair price; furthermore the staff is always very helpful and offer unsurpassed, quality advice which I can learn and grow from. The espresso is amazing as well, it HAS to be some crazy black market coffee that youll never be able to find through any American purveyor.This Place is A1!! If I could give this store a rating lower than one star, I would do so happily. The card selection may be one of the best in the valley, however, NOBODY is going to shop at a store with piss-poor customer service. Ive walked into this store a total of four times and NOT ONCE was I greeted or acknowledged by staff. Furthermore, Billy is probably the worst employee Ive ever had the displeasure of meeting. Even when the store was empty, I wasnt given the time of day. I even said hello walking in each time and then a second time at the counter.Im not sure how this store is even still in business. The store owner cracks open packs right in front of customers that ACTUALLY WANTED TO BUY the product. Probably because he cant resist showing off or at least that is what I have gathered from watching him. Regardless, WOTC really needs to crack down on Snapcasters. Either shut it down or change the staff, because this is unacceptable.

Me and my husband are brand new to MTG. We found this store to be very welcoming and friendly. We even got some hands on help by walking through a game so we could better understand the rules/mechanics. Pricing is very reasonable and customer service couldnt be better. We will definitely be return customers!

A decently large store which currently caters almost entirely to Magic The Gathering and its players but does so very well. When I spoke to one of the employees they said they were going to put effort into expanding into Warhammer, D&D as well as some general boardgames.He said they do have the occasional Tabletop RPG group meet there as well, so if you need a place to run a game they offer space for that as well.They have a fairly substantial snack bar as well. Any only complaint though is that getting from Thomas to the parking for the place is non-obvious

I would watch them with your cards. Dont trust them to give you a fair price. Make sure to look up all the cards you are selling before you accept their cash offer, that doesnt come with a receipt or record of any kind. Taking a picture of the cards and the cash exchanged could be a good idea.

Very large store. Great magic selection. Love the giant play mats over all the tables. So i dont have to worry about my cards getting all gunky. Great location near a bunch of other shopping centers. Definitely recommend.

Unfriendly staff, insulting prices for selling cards.Edit: I sold 4 cards that were a least close to reasonable. The entire time you were huffing and puffing and I got the clear impression you didnt want me in the store. I also called ahead of time to ask about selling bulk and was told yes we are looking to buy bring down your collection. I also understand stores cant pay full value but offering around 10% of value is insulting, 30% wouldve been reasonable. You then offered to pay $100 for several hundred dollars worth of cards. You also glanced over and tossed aside my most expensive cards and acted as if they were worthless, I know the value of my own cards, TCG Player is a great website for this.What your reply tells me is that you only care about your image. The entire experience felt like a shady pawn shop experience which left a bad taste in my mouth. I instantly regretted even selling you those 4 cards which you didnt even have me sign any kind of proof of sale which is strange. If you had simply said we arent looking to buy bulk over the phone I wouldnt have even bothered to come by and that wouldve been that.After this I went over to North Valley Games where even though they were too busy to look at my collection they talked to me in a friendly manner and broke down how they do things without being condecending and gave me a time where theyd be able to look over everything.My biggest point for you is dont be a jerk, be friendly and dont mislead people.

A great place and great people

I am not super into gaming, my partner is. I have been to a few game stores before and I could never get over that gross cornchip smell... This is not the case, the place is clean, organized and friendly... according to my partner also super knowledgeable. We felt comfortable here and were welcomed right away by other players. I liked this place

The staff members are nice and helpful. Trade in value is nonexistent though but its still a good store. Definitely in the top 5 in AZ. Almost always has what you want.

I witnessed first hand employees badgering customers about these reviews. Good selection of cards but prices are way too high. Does not offer military discount where as many other card shops offer it. I have been accused of cheating by employees during a new set release. Overall staff is unprofessional and the environment is unwelcoming.

Its a smaller store but it has a great selection of singles kind of wish It had a little bit better selection when it comes to packs, but for being as small as it is those are normally sold out.

Great place to come amd play EDH. They have a huge variety of singles to choose from as well. If youre looking for a card or deck list, they have it.
