DO NOT GO HERE. I go to lots of pawn shops and lots of other places that sell guns. Never have I ever had cash in hand to buy a gun and get told at the register someone online bought it as I was about to purchase it. Go somewhere else, trust me. After calling the store later to express my anger. They said first come, first serve I called them at 1:30pm. Was in the store at 2:00pm after my drive. The online sale happened at 2:20ish. So if that line of bs was true. I shouldve been the one to get it. Instead they sold it to someone online who will never come back. After I expressed I was interested in a p22 they had. Definitely will not go back.

Left a wedding band here to be resized. I came by 3 times to pick up and every time promised that it would be done the next day. On the day before my wedding I came to pick up the ring and the ring could not be found. When finally found it still had not been done. They gave me the ring back and referred me to someone else that could “possibly” help me. Not cool as I now have no time to make other arrangements before the wedding.

I want to start off by saying eddie is one of the best employees there! I had a gun pawned and forgot to pay it so I lost it but eddie did the impossible at the time and went out of his way to help me find another gun that was the same type! They are all great at employees and treat everybody like family i can say they all go above and beyond to help anyone out! Thanks Eddie and Herdez Pawn you all are greatly appreciated!( You saved a life that day lol)

I am very glad I walked into this place! The energy is awesome! I was greeted promptly and asked if I would like water as I was waiting.I was greeted warmly and helped by Gus and Larry! I got $10 dollars more for something than at the Aztec gold place quoted me up the street and $50 more than the Pawn 1st place. I know it varies with what you are selling but still that said a lot to me. By far the best customer service experience I have had at a Pawn shop.I felt like family. I was looking for a unique jewelry gift for a special occasion and had been trying to find something nice online or at one of the major retailers, everything I saw looked generic and overpriced to me. I had never set foot in a pawn shop but considered Herdez after reading the reviews. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who reviewed and brought them into my radar. Like I said, I had never been into a pawn shop/jeweler in my life and was a bit intimidated by the idea. As soon as I came through the doors I was greeted by very friendly staff. They were so helpful, knowledgeable and respectful. They listened to my needs and made some recommendations. I wasnt ready to buy the item at the time as I wanted to look a little more, this was a no pressure situation. I went to another establishment and called two others, although they were nice, their approach was very different. The following day I went back and I was treated with the same level of respect and kindness as the day before although there was different staff there. They were so helpful and even cleaned the piece of jewelry for me. I was relieved and happy to have found the perfect item and thankful for having found a trustworthy place to buy unique gifts. Greatest guys in south Phoenix. They worked with me on a very significant loan I needed for a down payment on a house that I had to close on. I have sold many items to this place. I think they are pretty fair for a pawn shop. Today I went in for the first time to BUY something. I have been eyeing this Opal ring for months. I should have put it in layaway to make sure it was there when I finally had the money to buy it but I figured if it was meant to be it would still be there and today it was. Gus helped me out and was awesome. Very courteous and knowledgeable. I even received a smoking deal because I was a returning customer.

This place should be the ONLY pawn store you visit. The last time I pawned something was in 1988. After losing my husband I found myself in financial distress over the recent holiday season. WOW! What a great place!!! I shopped three other places and no one can hold a candle to Herdez Pawn. Larry is one of the most knowledgable people I have ever dealt with. I’ve never learned so much about my diamond as I have in the 30 minutes I dealt with Larry. And by the way, one store offered me $300, other one after 15 minutes of bickering back and forth offered me $400, Larry immediately offered me $850 because he knew about diamonds. Went in there yesterday looking to sell my fiance’s old engagement ring. They took the ring out of my field of view for several minutes. They ended up telling me that the stones were fake even though it was tested at 4 locations prior to them. I was afraid that they swapped my stones out for CZ but went back to the last place that tested them and was told that they were the same stones and tested them again. I understood enough Spanish to know that El Jefe thought I was wasting their time and wanted his guy to get rid of me. Go get your testing equipment tested to ensure they work properly. Eff you guys!
