Called in to get information about a broken Vizio tv. The person I spoke to gave me some of the best customer service over the phone I may have ever had. Ran me through the repair process, explained that it is not worth repairing. It was nice to deal with someone who cares about their customer rather than trying to squeeze every dollar out of them. Most of the repair shops in town wanted to charge a diagnostic fee without giving me any information on the phone.

What can I say about Igor?! He repaired a circuit board for my Ferrari F355 which controls the air conditioning. It is a $3000 special order part that would take months to arrive from Italy. Would give 6 stars if I could! My RV had developed a water leak and the water dripped down into my control panel for my Kohler generator. Not good! Excellent service. Recommended a more cost efficient way to solve my problem. I took in a power supply for a microscope that was made in Russia and used a 220 volt input. I wanted to convert for use with a110 volt input. He examined it while I was there and recommenced that it would be too expensive to convert the way I wanted it done. He then recommended that I instead purchase a step-up system. He even researched on eBay for me for the correct set-up system I would need and provided me with that information. I would highly recommend this company to all.

If they going to be rude like that maybe just dont answer the phone next time. Ill order the part and do it myself. Its a simple capacitor replacement. After a close lightning strike and subsequent power surge, we lost lights in our home due to a fried circuit board that operates the low voltage automation system in our home. System manufacturer has sold company without any replacement parts or service for the system. After extensive searching and consulting with various audio video companies and electricians, it was a fact that we would have to replace a portion of system costing a minimum of $10,000.00.Finding Igor at Electronic Repair Company saved us thousands. He looked at it first to see if it was possible, gave me a quote and stuck to it. Recently I took a vintage Mitsubishi VCR (purchased 1995) and Kenwood AVR (purchased 2001) to Igor’s ERC shop for diagnosis & repair The VCR would no longer power on, and the Kenwood receivers volume control was messed up. Having used Igor’s services in the past, I had confidence he would be able to come up with solutions to revive these devices. He is literally a genius when it comes to electronics, chips, and circuit boards. He was able to rebuild the power supply for my VCR and restore it to full operation. Regarding the Kenwood receiver, Igor successfully identified the “bad” volume control IC chip, replaced it (purchasing from an eBay supplier), and re-soldered multiple problematic circuit board connections—and was able bring the receiver back to optimum operating performance too. And, based on the considerable labor time required to accomplish these repairs, Igor’s charges were reasonable. I will not hesitate to use his services again. Highly recommended!

I have a hobby of building vintage PCs for the early 90s for some old school DOS gaming, and like to have a good era appropriate CRT monitor to pair with the systems I build.I can fix most electronics issues myself, but avoid working on CRTs due to the incredibly high voltage that they can store even when theyve been left off for extended periods of time.The only person in the valley I could find who would work on the vintage 19 Viewsonic Professional Series monitor I was trying to bring back to life was Igor.He went over the entire board with me, and was able to confirm that while all the components were good, the entire board needed to have re-solder work done due to a multitude cracked solder joints.The price I paid for him to do this work was very reasonable, and the monitor is now working flawlessly. He even fixed a mechanical issue that the power button was having, which I didnt expect since it wasnt an electrical problem.Long story short, Igor is your man if you have something that needs some TLC that no one else will even look at.Much appreciated!

We are a manufacturer of Turbine blades. One of our casting furnaces developed a problem where it wouldnt turn on. Our technician troubleshot it and determined it was the power board for the PLC. This was designed to not be rebuilt, but to be replaced. The problem is that it has a computer inside the unit that has all of our operating programs in it. This cant be backed up in anyway. Without this, we would be losing $40,000 daily. Igor had saved us on a processor board a year prior, so I left this one in his hands to save us again. He worked on the board overnight to assure that we had it the next day. We installed it and it worked like it was brand new. I dont know how long we would have been down for, and feared that it could have lost us well over $500,000 in lost production. Igor was a lifesaver for us. Originally, I was going to do the replacement to the board myself and he assisted by getting me the Service Manual. However, it became clear later that there was a bit more that had to be done other than just a board swap and he came to my home on a Saturday and spent quite a bit of time making sure things were just right. I called Igor because of his stellar reviews. I had what I thought was a unique problem and was hoping maybe his expertise would be well suited to resolve. My brother in law has an 07 Pruis with the faulty instrument cluster. The dealership wanted $900 to repair it. After some research I found that there are some capacitors that tend to go bad on the board. I called Igor an began to explain my problem and to my surprise he knew exactly what I was talking about had the solution to fix it. Took me about an hour to take the cluster out and him few hours to upgrade the board. I am very happy to have run across this man. He cares about his customers and saved us hundreds of dollars.

I had a sticky problem of a USB port parting company with its circuit board. Replacement of the board in its entirety was somewhere near impossible due to availability issues. I talked to and took the parts to Electronic Repair Company. They reconnected the port to the board securely and I returned the board to service. Cost for the repair was negligible, dare I say, far less than I anticipated for the work.This was board level work and done well. The consequences to me of this repair not working or damaging the board further, can not be stated strongly enough.Im a customer and will not hesitate to use them again for such work should it become necessary.

Im a very satisfied customer. I have a 1967 RCA Victor Console Stereo which had a lingering issue that was incorrectly fixed at the only other location in the valley that works on these units. Great service. I had no sound from left speaker(s). Took it in and Igor checked it while I was there. Of course it worked, but I explained I had tried different speaker and wire, and it did not work at home. He was skeptical but opened up the receiver and found/showed me that a number of solder joints were cracking and as such me jiggling the receiver in transport probably made it work, temporarily. Even took out an eye piece so I could see the cracks. I thought he gave me a very fair assessment of whether it was worth repairing. The work was done in a day and for exactly what he had quoted. Would definitely recommend and makes me sorry I threw out a rather expensive receiver several years back that wasnt working....

We had a tricky problem with an older, odd size tv in a very difficult to access wall placement. Igor made a house call after hours to assess. I had a TV cable that I needed shortened to a custom length. I went to several stores and called numerous places to see if they did this sort of thing.
