Ralph and Oscar came out to repair our gate. Their customer service anticipated they would be here in about an hour and a half. They were able to get here in about 20 minutes! They were very friendly, explained everything that they did and were efficient and fast! Thank you both for helping us out last minute!!!

The door of my shop at 13732 W BELL ROAD STE 8 has been broken for a long time, and I have found 2 people to repair it. No good. Today Ralph Rendon repaired the door. He is really a serious young man. He cleaned the ground very clean after finishing his work. This is the best repairman I have ever seen.

This business is a HUGE rip off. Our company was charged 341.00 and all the guy did was lubricate the door! Mind you he was very professional and polite. Make sure you ask for pricing up front. I thought the bill would be around 60 maybe 100.00 because he didnt do much and was there less than an hour maybe 30 minutes tops. We will definitely shop around next time.

I asked Ralph if he could look at another door we were having a problem with and gladly looked at it and fixed that problem also. He was considerate of the phone ringing and try to work around when sales men were not on the phone.

Vortex crew was amazing to work with! From the from the field managers, office managers and technicians everyone are pleasant to talk to and very patient.I had a commercial door that didn’t lock so good, thought it need to be replaced so I called vortex for a quote knowing a store front door isn’t a cheap buy.When their field manager came to my store he told me that the door can be fixed and we don’t need to replace it, in that moment I understood that they are a company that not try to push and sell you things you don’t need but they actually come to help you and caring about your business.After that experience I used them to fixed 2 other doors and a bunch of metal shutters in the same plaza. Update: A manager from the company called the same day to offer to meet with me and look over the work done, as well as give a 50% refund, to make things right, he said. I appreciated him reaching out and following up!I own a business and wanted a tech to adjust my front door so it would close slower, instead of quickly with a banging noise. When I called to have the door serviced I was told I could have someone come out to do an estimate or have a tech come out. When I asked how much it might cost to just have the tech fix it, I was told she had no idea and it depends on what needs to be done, which make sense. She also said I should be prepared to pay on the spot, which was fine.When the tech came out this morning, I asked him how much it might cost for the job that needed to be done and he said he also had no idea. So I asked him if he at least knows of a trip charge and he said yes but didnt tell me how much it was. I think I should have known about this from the beginning.He did a great job fixing my front door and a few other small things, about 45 minutes of work. Then he called in to find out how much I owed... it came out to $309, which I thought was very expensive for what he did. But I paid it, as I said I would and asked for an emailed receipt, which I still havent received.When I called just now to give the feedback that they should not collect money on the spot without first giving an idea of how much would be owed before doing the service, the woman on the phone did apologize and then argued with me and offered to put a note in my account... I wont be using them again.

Be very careful and get pricing upfront, their labor rates are $195.00 per hour. The techs that showed up couldnt give me a quote and when the invoice showed up the times were filled in after I signed the paperwork. Padded the time billed by 1.75 hours.Very unethical business practices.
