This morning my garage door wouldnt open, keeping me from getting to work. Dependable Door Systems was the only garage door repair service that was able to make it out the same day. Tyler arrived at the very beginning of the time frame that we were told on the phone, and he fixed our garage in less than 20 minutes! Cost was on the low end of other places I called around at. We will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to anyone with garage door issues.

Our garage door suddenly stopped closing completely. It would partially close and then immediately reopen. We had used Dependable Door in the past for the other garage door, so I called and described the new situation to Virginia. She was terrific: kind, sympathetic and efficient. She told me when my service tech would arrive and, sure enough, Tyler arrived at the early end of the “window” Virginia had given me. He diagnosed the problem in a short couple of minutes, told me the total repair cost and immediately went to work. He was quick, very friendly and a total professional. We had Dependable sent out through our home warranty company to replace a broken tension coil. The technician was super friendly, explained the necessary repair very well and was in and out in no time. I’m a home builder and will now be using them for all of my homes exclusively.

Tyler did a great job! When we called Dependable Door Systems, Tyler came out within a few hours. He was professional, courteous and most importantly, on time. He told us exactly what was wrong with our door (springs broke, bent one of the panels on door). Even though the company who built the garage door is no longer in business, he didnt try to talk us into getting a whole new door (like what happened to our neighbor). He was able to provide the panel that was needed at a very reasonable price. He also explained to us why our remotes werent working properly (no LED bulbs in opener, interferes with the signal .. who knew?) He replaced the bulbs for us and my old car remote worked! He did a complete overhaul and my door works and sounds like new. We have been dealing with a lot of contractors lately (who showed up late, didnt have all of the equipment/product on hand, etc.) and it was refreshingly surprising to have a company be as honest and reliable as Dependable Door Systems. We have a challenging garage door set up so it was important to have skilled, knowledgeable people remove the old door and do the installation of a new door and opener. John did an excellent job and persevered through a difficult install in 110 degree weather.He was a good mentor to his partner on the job. WOW!!! Tyler is THE BEST, to begin with, he was scheduled to be at my home between 10-12. He called at 9:22 to say he would be here within 15-20 mins (it was less than 15 when he arrived) so, calls & shows up earlier than expected. That happens NEVER!!Tyler was neat as a pin, very polite & professional. He looks at my garage motor (I had been told by another garage door company that the computer board was bad & needed to be replaced~the entire system as it was obsolete) & knew IMMEDIATELY what the issue was. Horrible Company. Our warranty co. sent them out. The tech, Tyler, told us in 30 seconds flat, it was not covered. Improper maintenance. (Lie #1)When we told him we had it serviced about a year ago, he said it was improper installation (lie #2). When we protested, he left. He never even got on a ladder to see why the wires came undone. He told the warranty co he was in fear of his life!!!??? (lie #3). My husband is 74 years old, I am 60. He was on our property less than 5 min. Our warranty co. wont pay because he told them it was improper installation. I immediately called Dependable and left a message for the manager Lisa, but she never bothered to return the call. Awful. We have been homeowners for over 40 years. Never had an experience like this.

After he reviewed the scope of work, he suggested a different option for the fix I needed which I took. He also recommended some preventative maintenance. Tyler from dependable garage doors came out to my mothers today. She Can’t work the internet too well and asked me to leave a review for her. I was there worried she would get taken advantage of. He gave her many options including repairing and replacing. We decided to buy a new belt drive. It was a huge improvement from our last opener. Now it’s soooo quiet! It was 350 fully installed and after calling around we felt it was fair. Next year we will change our rollers to quieter ones. I strongly recommend dependable garage doors to others.

Im impressed. My daughter and son in laws garage door tension spring snapped, damaged roller track and looked like it was ready to fall over at one point. Six months ago my garage door needed to be replaced. Tyler came out and looked at it and was able to work it out with my home warranty to replace my door (even though that was not covered under my warranty), and the springs and the opener for much less than another company that came out to look at it. I was so happy he made this affordable. The installer who came to put my door in was amazing! He went beyond what was required of him, installing my key pad and a new rubber piece for my small garage door that he wasn’t even working on! They were both very professional and I was very grateful I chose this company to install my new garage door. Then a few weeks ago, late in the evening, due to my own fault, not DGDS, my door came off it’s track. I called DGDS after hours and talked to Lisa. She was very nice and helpful on the phone. Tyler was able to come out the next day and got me back on track again, thankfully not having to replace any parts. He is extremely professional and helpful in every way. I will always use this company in the future, hopefully not the near future however!
