This place has the best donuts Ive ever tasted. We have another donut shop closer to my house but they dont even come close to the deliciousness of Lucky Donuts. They are affordable and their coffee is really good. They even have hot chocolate for the kids. Definitely worth a try if youre craving a donut.

Lucky Donuts is some of the best donuts in the valley. I got a pbj donut and a blueberry fritter. I typically dont eat/like filled donuts but that one is the only one I enjoy. Also word to the wise, the large size fritters are as big as my face. I think its awesome, but not everyone is gonna be ready for it.

Great variety of good quality, generous sized donuts. The tiger tail, pb & j pocket (warmed up for 20 sec) and the Boston cream are my faves. I think its worth mentioning that the oil here always tastes fresh. Ive never had a stale oil donut in all the time that theyve been open. I do wish they had a punch card would be my oy suggestion.

First time visiting this place and I wouldnt recommend it at all. First of all they post fake reviews for their business lol. Second, the girl they have working in the afternoon is snarky, extremely rude and had an attitude after I asked her a question! Her excuse was she is shy which contradicts how she behaved. If youre shy or not good with PEOPLE OR TALKING to people, you probably shouldnt work in customer service! Not to mention the inside is extremely run down and they rarely put chairs down for guests. I am a social media marketing manager for several big companies internationally and thought Id chat with the owners but after asking when the owners would be there she got even nastier. Judging by the owners comments in these reviews it doesnt seem like they mind losing business to horrific customer service by their incompetent employee. No one deserves being talked to the way she speaks to potential customers or the attitude that comes with it. Go to Dunkin donuts, Bosa or Krispy Kreme!

Really great donuts. It’s a hidden gem! They have some drinks and stufff but they have great donuts and some unique flavors. On par with Bosa, murders Dunkins offerings.

Friendly staff and the best donuts in a small radius around us. The tiger tail donut, which is basically the dough of 5 donuts rolled into a big circle and twisted around itself coated with just the right amount of cinnamon and frosting, is my favorite.

Stopped here for the first time yesterday. The donuts were average, staff not the most friendly, and although there was not garbage on the floor, the place looks kind of rundown/dated.They have a large selection of donuts to choose from. One is called the tiger tail (large donut below) which is a cinnamon roll style with chocolate. The donuts were average, many other places I would pick in the valley.The girl working didn’t take much time to answer questions, being we told her it was our first time. She was a little snarky when checking us out as well.The overall store needs a renovation as it’s dated.If I was right there I wouldn’t have an issue getting a donut here again, but wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again.

Ive tried some throughout my 42 years & was never a fan (was more of an apple fritter/maple bar kind of girl). I had one here, it is now my favorite donut. I used to come and many times they were sold out. Once, the lady says, Ill be right back and she goes to the back and comes out with a chocolate bar size filled with their wonderful Boston Creme. So sweet of her. Then on another sold out day, I voiced my sadness - she said (while handing me a business card) Call me before you come and I will have some ready. I love this family and the people that work here. So now, I buy by the dozen and they freeze wonderfully. I wrap them in wax paper & put them in freezer bags. Of course I had to try one frozen, yummy. Slightly microwaved but still a lil frozen, yummy. Microwaved and warm...mmmmmmm.Superior customer service, quality ingredients, perfect 5 stars. Todays take in photos 😁🍩🍩🍩Oh, and their GIANT apple fritters are amazingly moist and delicious too! (Fritter pictured, I had already take a good chunk off of, lol)Enjoy!

There donuts are not of this universe! They probably have six dozen different donuts to choose from. The owners and employees are so friendly. There located on Thunderbird east of the I-17 in Zia Records parking lot.

Would really like to see a mask requirement and enforcement in such a small space - family of 7 running around the shop and no one had masks on. Also, PLEASE, clean your windows/glass doors - the look they had was unnerving. And the donuts - GREAT!

Super tasty. Not your typical doughnuts. Get there early and snag an apple filled bear claw with the crumble topping. If thats not available, the one without crumble is pretty legit also. My crew also devours the glazed doughnuts. They are something special!

I thought this was just an okay donut place. Their bread was stale and rough on the tongue, but their flavor variety is decent. I appreciated that their donuts had less of an oil flavor compared to other places I really disliked such as Lamars or The Local Donut (shocking, right?). While I enjoyed the coconut Boston creme donut, I would not revisit this place. The Pb & J donut was a novel idea, but it had too much peanut butter.I think the last time I actually enjoyed a donut was at Novel Ice Cream even though theyre not actually a donut place, so I would recommend that you visit them.

Delicious!! I was going to take a picture of my pastry but it was gone before I remembered. I got a pastry filled with chocolate chips and wow!! Plus the staff was nice and friendly, they helped me pick my stuff out. Prices are decent, and worth it for the taste! I didn’t get to try the rattle snake but I heard it’s a favorite one so definitely trying that one next time. They also have a peanut butter and strawberry filled!! So many choices.

After having driven by this donut shop since its inception, I decided that I would swing in and grab some donuts for my coworkers - I was not disappointed.I was greeted by a gentleman named Peter who was wonderfully articulate and helpful. The atmosphere was excellent and the customer service was superb.The donuts themselves were exquisite and the prices are (by comparison) exceptional. Definitely one of the better donut shops I have ever been to.I will certainly be back.

To be completely honest, the donuts were amazing. They were probably about the best donuts Ive ever dragged across my lips! The young lady who was taking care of us was amazingly friendly, and attentive and it was an overall great experience for my family and I. I will definitely be going back!

Easy to find with plenty of parking. The shop is nice, clean, and simple. I got 6 to share with my family and try multiple flavors of which there were many. The donuts are very good however nothing unique. There are a couple other local shops that taste better. The service was amazing and it was less than $6 for half a dozen donuts. Cant beat that value. No matter what they deliver on the namesake.

I dont know if its because I havent eaten a donut in a couple years or not, but these glazed donuts were the best ones Ive had in my life. There were super fluffy! And for only $1. Amazing.

Usually plenty to choose from but lately not so much. Kinda disappointing. the new owners are trying to figure things out I guess its a good thing they have friendly cute girls working there always very respectful and pleasant to talk to their parents should be proud of them.

These are the BEST donuts in Phoenix! I am a donut connoisseur and I drive across the valley daily (north to south) due to my work location. I have the opportunity over the years then to try many donut stores. This one is the top donut store. Probably even better than 99% of donut stores in the entire United States.Service is very pleasant, friendly and personable. Solid people.Price - just a tad bit pricey, but the donuts are truly exquisite. I talked to the owner and he said he uses an expensive bakers flour, but it is worth the cost, as proved by the quality of the product.Become a regular here before they are discovered and the lines are out the doors daily!

TLDR: Still great donuts but irresponsible owners. Be careful driving near their donut shop.I have been going to lucky donuts every since Dan opened the shop up. I was hesitant once it came under new ownership, but I went the other day and sure enough, the donuts were still of great quality. They were fresh (at 9 am) and tasted just like I remember them. One of the new owners was in the shop and I said hello. As I was leaving the plaza, driving, a car backed out of its parking spot right into my vehicle which was already in motion. Out of the other car steps one of the new owners of the shop. Although neither car was seriously damaged, I offered my insurance information and asked for hers. She promptly told me that she did not have insurance, and shortly after told me that she was leaving. She hopped in her car and drove away. Since its a privately owned plaza, and there were no serious bodily or vehicular damage, the police said it would have to be pursued via insurance.I really dont care much about my vehicles exterior, but I am more concerned about the attitude and conduct of the owner. Even though I was in the right, I was treated rudely, and I had an acute sense that she didnt care one boba ball about customer satisfaction. I wont be buying any more donuts from Lucky, and I certainly wont be driving by the shop either. Stay safe out there folks.

Seriously the best customer service!!! They made me a drink and told me if I didnt like it just let them know. I now get it every time! The owners are so attentive and helpful with our kids. They ran out of our sons favorite donut and they made one up just for him. I cant say enough good about this place! Weve loved going every weekend and seeing everyone!

I usually go in at the evening times around 4ish and the girl that works there, Alyssa is her name which she is an amazing employee has great customer service and greets me every time I go in! Amazing donuts! Best Ive had in many years. The manager was very friendly and patient too. Theyve got a wonderful selection, it blows Dunkin away. I highly recommend the cruller with orange icing. This will definitely be my weekly go-to donut shop!

I just found this great little family owned business. My favorite Buttermilk Bars are always fresh and the muffins are delicious just the right size for me. Roger for a young man has excellent customer service skills and keeps me feeling appreciated every time I step through the door.
