Omg! These guys have so much stuff! Im not very experienced in shops like this but I was amazed. Mike was incredible. Very hospitable, very friendly. I wanted to get some ideas on what to do with some of my memorabilia and they were very helpful. Very experienced staff. I will definitely be returning.

Love this Store always an amazing conversation to be had and Mike is always willing to share his experience and knowledge on the industry. Every time I come here I go back to being that 12 year old kid for just a little while! Best card shop in the Valley!

I love this shop. Spoke with the owner a while about the nostalgia of baseball cards, then I purchased a couple full boxes. He has some old box sets that I havent seen in decades, so I had to buy. I will be going back for more, as buying baseball cards brings back great childhood memories. Too bad my mom made me write my initials on the backs of my cards....thanks mom!

Mike has accrued a bunch of collectibles that is notable. I travel out of state often and found Mike’s shop on Google. I called last week about a picture he has in one of his cases. I flew into Phoenix this morning, and seeing that my hotel isn’t available til 4 pm, i thought i would drop by Boxseat Collectibles.I walked in today and said hi to Mike. It was like I wasn’t even there. I finally got his attention for two seconds and i asked him about the picture I was interested in. On the phone last week he said he would check the price and get back to me. He never called. Today, Mike told me he hasn’t had time to check the price on my product of interest. Then he completely ignored me. What is more notable than Mike’s collection that is for sale at top-dollar? It is the fact that Mike is still in business. Mike does not treat people right.

In Arizona for the week for a baseball tournament. Started at another card shop. They didn’t interact with me or my kids. We walked around then left. We looked up Cards shops in the area. We found this place. Glad we did. Welcoming talked collecting with my Son. They had High end and dollar boxes. We come to Arizona annually and this place will be apart of our annual trip. Boxseat Collectibles was a great experience. Thanks

First and more than likely last time in there. Had tons of product but was about $50 higher on some hobby boxes than other lcs. When I brought him a handful of raw cards from a box (mostly commons no sleeves) (seriously mostly paper bowman junk cards for my set) he ebay comped them. Ok one in particular I said hey that card is rolling around in a bin without even a penny sleeve and then I was told that that card has a high psa 10 graded value. I didnt buy it because he wouldnt budge and Im guessing he will put it in a top loader with surface scratches now and ask for full price lol. Sad because I walked in with about $500 to buy mostly vintage and took it to another place. Very very very expensive and lacking in customer service skills.

Mike is super helpful and HONEST! Great guy who has prices lower that available on the internet. He will give you an HONEST opinion of your collectables value. If you have a question about your sports collectable or starting your collection ask Mike.

This is a great shop! So much here I would love to move to my office to dress it up. It is easy to get lost in here because the collection is huge, cool, and all over the board. As a Bears fan I was immediately drooling over signed helmets, a Walter Payton jersey, and small affordable collectibles too. If I am on your Christmas List, feel free to find me something at Box Seat. :)

This was my first visit to this shop. I was treated with courtesy and respect. I’m attempting to rebuild my collection of baseball cards after about 60 percent of it was stolen seven years ago. The clerk was very helpful. I purchased two individual cards from 1971 as well as two grab bags. I will be back.

Stopped by here looking for some old cards from my childhood. Mike was super friendly and had a great selection. His prices were very competitive, too. I picked up a box of old wax packs and couldnt be happier! Will definitely come back.edit: Ive now been a customer here for well over a year, and enjoy the place even more than when I first wrote this. Mike is such a friendly guy and I enjoy perusing through his vintage selection to help complete some of my sets.

This was my first time at Boxseat. I am a casual card collector and went in hopping to learn about how I could protect some of my favorite baseball cards, including a rare Ohtani Rookie Parallel Card I pulled recently from a pack. When I first walked in, one employee (younger guy) was very friendly offering his service. I told him I wanted to look around first. The store looked very cool! After looking around, I went to the back where both employees were talking with each other. They older employee was closer to me so I approached him to ask him a few simple questions. He immediately seemed annoyed for me bothering him. He was very aggressive towards me like I was some kind of idiot. I left feeling embarrassed and frustrated that I didn’t feel comfortable asking the rest of my other questions, simply because of how he treated me.Boxseat you missed out on a sale(s) today because one of your employees didn’t give me the time of day. Just think, if he would have taken the time to educate me, I would have most likely made a purchase based on his recommendations. I also had plans to purchase a hobby box or two, but didn’t.I wish I had the desire to go back, because I love supporting local businesses. But I’ll either have to purchase online or try out another local trading card store.

The guy in here is basically a individual with no people skills like a jock that never learned how to adapt beyond emulating himself through other people (Sports Players).. What a jerk. His sign outside has been broken and the shop is dingy and poorly displayed. He is also very arrogant in the fact that he is some sort of stalker type sports guy that knows everything ! Waste of time going to that dying museum!!!!
