Delicious brunch spot in Phoenix! This was the last stop on a trip with my friends and Im glad we went. The interior is super eclectic and comfortable.

Had a quick visit and I will be coming back. I got the ex girlfriend iced coffee and it was SO GOOD. It seems like such a dope spot and I’m so curious about how it is at night too! So much space and seating also!

Very limited parking, but theres some street spots you can take advantage of.. Takes both cash or card and sports both indoor and outdoor seating. As far as the aesthetic, this is exactly what I want to see. Aaron has filled Luanas with retro antiques, cool collectibles, and other dope items to make the space fun and unique. The music is a bumping and the coffee is tasty, although I will admit I have yet to have the food. One thing I will say, though, is that every time I smell a pizza from here my mouth goes into salivation mode. They also offer up sandwiches and fresh pastries every day alongside some other snacks. They of course also serve loose-leaf tea (hot or iced), coffee drinks, specialty lemonades, and a full bar with rotating taps. The staff is spry, takes care of their customers, arent afraid of having some fun on the job, and will often be caught addressing customers by their first names. Overall, this is a dope spot thats worth a visit with some friends. Limited seating, so get to it!

Luanas is one of the finest hidden gems in downtown Phoenix. Cafe and bar featuring local coffee with excellent lattes, cocktails and beer. They have a quality food menu as well with great breakfast items, sandwiches and pizza. Their breakfast pizza is especially awesome.The whole staff here is really cool and personable and the owners are incredible people. This is the kind of place where they really care about the people who come in - they’ll treat you well here.Lastly, the overall setting setting is warm, inviting and chill. Really great place to come and study or enjoy a bite to eat and get some drinks with friends. Definitely check it out!

Staff is very friendly and the place is super cute. Parking is limited so be prepared to street park. Lots a tables and a bar top with two TVs. Very popular spot, definitely will be back

Love this place. Amazing vibes and great drinks. A great place to study and unwind. However, I rode my bike here since I live biking distance away… but there is no bike rack. :/ it was hard to lock my bike up to the stairs. I would like if they purchased one to keep my bike secure.

Awesome spot for coffee that is more unique than a Starbucks. So skip Starbucks and pay Luanas a visit. This spot is in an old house filled with character. The staff made me feel like I was their best friend. Dont forget, make sure to grab one of their cookies. Thanks for the great service!

Super cute place hang out on a Friday night. Coffee and beer how could you go wrong?. Awesome mood lighting and Patio seating interesting part of town nice vintage feel. Lots of great decorations to look at oh, and they have board games! Staff is friendly and took care of us immediately. Food look good but we just had coffee and a cookie.

It’s hard to express how much we love Luana’s. We’re there almost every Sunday for breakfast and coffee. Then we come back Thursday nights for pizza, drinks, and trivia. Everything I’ve had there has been incredible and the vibe is perfect. This year we actually came to Luana’s to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday, which both fell on trivia night.

Great vibes! Already my new fav place to work or casual meet up. The people who work here are so kind and spark up great convo right away, the music was great, and my breakfast sandwich and matcha latte were amazing! I will certainly add this to the top of my rotation of coffee shops I visit regularly!

Where to even begin??? Ever since I first step foot in this place i felt like I was home, it’s been over a year now coming here and every single time I fell more and more in love with the esthetic, vibe, music, food and staff. From the start they always took good care of us. The owner Aaron took us in and always had us feel welcomed. Now we brought our new born in to be apart of the luanas family! Really awesome cafe spot. Inside a historic building, the best ambiance.Feels almost more like you’re hanging out at a friends place than eating at a restaurant.The avocado toast was good and that selection of hot sauces made it so much better.

Read their menus, they are fun and clever.buy a beer, or coffee. or pizza.options here especially the choices of where to sit. each room or chair has a great view of this atmosphere in this house. some might say hipster but I say its their version of home. and its welcoming. the staff is great. it can be busy and you have to respect their determination to get your needs metparking.. is kinda rough. but other than that. love it here

Great pizza, great beer, it was too late for coffee but Im sure thats great too. Manager (owner?) was extremely accommodating to our party of seven, and took extra effort to make room for us all to sit together. Servers and bartenders were friendly and quick despite being packed. Highly recommend

I am new to the area and am looking to have a local coffee shop to bop into for my morning bev. While the aesthetic is very cool, my first interaction seemed unusually cold. The shop was very slow and the barista was talking with someone when I got in. Barista seemed put off, and short with the interaction. Not friendly.. like the person just wanted to get back to their friend. The coffee is also more expensive than most other places. But Ill give it that it is good coffee. The location being off McDowell, just doesnt seem like it fits. But since you guys are around the corner from me which is most convenient, and the fact that you replied, I feel I need to give Luanas another chance, and not be so short with my reviews.I value customer service over most things when it comes to a business especially when you are starting the day. I know you shouldnt let one persons interaction ruin the experience, but it happened that way this time.

Cool vibes in this place! Food and coffee is okay, but its the spot itself thats the attraction. Cool coffee shop to chill at with friends for a sec, for sure, but dont get too excited about your alcoholic drink if its not straight off the menu. Im not sure anyone there knows how to really bartend. Worth a shot of your in the area!

Good experience and drinks. Ambience is great, but would have been nice to have a place to lock up my bike. 3 bikes locked up to the stairs and no bike rack made it problematic.

Stylish, cozy place with friendly vibes. Baristas stayed positive during the lunch rush which made the atmosphere that much nicer. The espresso was not my thing - couldnt finish the almond milk latte I ordered because it was crazy bitter. If youre more of the flavored coffee type this space is definitely for you! Great place to chill at overall.

Came in a very hungry state also with a need for the afternoon caffeine dose after an all day conference, and with no knowledge of the area. Had the salt bae coffee. It was excellent!Also ordered the buffalo chicken pizza. Fantastic! It was seasoned just perfectly, even with some diced celery for good measure in the Buffalo style.Next time were in Phoenix will come in again. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Great coffee shop and café! The espresso is excellent, which makes sense as this coffee shop grew from just a small mobile coffee stand. The owner is extremely welcoming and loves to chat about the history of Luanas and all things PHX. Cant wait to try the pizza!

Awesome cafe in Phoenix! The coffee was fantastic, and the cocktail list was equally intriguing. A solid selection of beers, for a cafe as well. More than enough seating ranging from tables, more laid back chairs, and outdoor options. The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful, and appreciative of support during a challenging time. The food (caesar salad) was great, but I have to say the vibe is what Im most excited about. Cant wait to go back once things return to normalcy. Rude staff. I dont appreciate my credit card being thrown at me. When I told staff my order was to go she stated you should have ordered it that way. My reply was I did. Coffee was like warm and told no more will be made. First timer and now a last timer. If your food is anything like your service please dont serve a t-bone steak a waste of beef.

What an incredible shop! Friendly staff, great food and the coffee is on point! Definitely ask the barista about trying something new and finish your order with a sandwich or a pizza (especially the breakfast pizza). Say hello to Emily, Gabby or Woody they will take great care of you... well everyone will. Don’t ignore the original art and the handwritten (by the owner) messages on your drink.

I had such high hopes that this would be my coffee shop of choice for studying. My first visit was DELIGHTFUL after a trip from the art museum and the bartender was hilarious and sweet. The food was good and the smores drink was delicious!Oh, but upon tonight, I walk in they didnt acknowledge me. I chopped it up to being slightly busy; however, they addressed a couple who walked in after me. Ok - cool. Whatever. I order my drink, they hand you a sign to wait for your food. GOT IT. I remember this routine------- 30 mins later I had to go to the bar to get my own drink. I shouldve left at that point. However, I needed to study and I was already out and Lux is super packed always.Coffee was good however, you only get one chance when it comes to horrible service. So, hit or miss service. However, the beverages and food is on point. Enjoy at your own risk friends. :-)

This is my favorite spot! The staff is so kind and go out of their way to make us feel welcome! My favorite drink is the Voldemort (definitely recommend, it’s seriously amazing!!) and the food is really good as well! My pup Clementine loves it here and one of the staff (I didn’t get her name but will ask next time!) was so sweet and even brought my puppy a snack! This is a definitely a hidden gem in Phoenix, highly recommend!

Let me first say I work for the Better Business Bureau so I am careful with my approval and am cautious before posting a review of any company, but I feel very confident in saying, this place is very unique, not the same old hum drum boring sandwiches and drinks. The margarita pizza was omg delish! And the sandwiches are all like nothing Ive ever tried before. To add more to the pleasant experience was how sweet, cute and proud the newish owners are. I will absolutely go again!

We were not expecting much, just a quiet place to have brunch. They were very personable and helpful with assisting my disabled mom get to outdoor seating. The food was great and we finished everything. That is a good thing and means the food was excellent.

Good.The music is loud so don’t expect to study without soundproof headphones.They serve beer. I didn’t get to try any, but maybe next time.The bartender is gorgeous!Also, I saw a Mac Miller quote on the walls. I’m a fan of his music, so this made me grin.Brunch spot. Endless mimosa. Excellent vibes at Luanas! Its a beautiful space full of natural light and eclectic furniture. Theyve got breakfast pizza and avocado toast, and cleverly named lattes AND they serve alcohol--whats not to like, son?!Also: every single employee Ive interacted with has been really pleasant! 10/10 would recommend! Such a cute place - parking was a bit rough but to be fair, it was at 5pm during rush hour so it was to be expected. Big menu selection of speciality coffee and lattes - I ordered the Matcha Matcha Man and instead of making alternative milks extra, the flip it amd make regular milk and dairy the extra cost which is awesome in my opinion ☺️ Full pizza and sandwich menu and while I didnt eat anything, it smelled and looked delicious from what I could tell by seeing other customers orders. Plenty of seating and a overall funky, laidback vibe. Would love to go back!

I love Luanas - its really cute and really, really good. This place is really cute inside bc you can sit by the window and its really nice. They have couches, a bar, and lots of delicious goodies. They have a lot of specialty coffees too! :DIm usually anti-carrot desserts, 99% of the time, but Luanas has THE BEST carrot cupcake Ive ever had! Really, really good and the frosting is perfect. I like sweets.Ive also had Luanas BYO breakfast sammy and then also the avocado toast another time. The sammy is really good, but the avocado toast is bomb! Next time I gotta get a beer while Im there :D what a fun coffee shop!

First time there. Person who helped was amazing!! Got one of our orders wrong, BUT took it back with no hassle and didnt just take off the wrong stuff but made a whole new one. Great staff and atmosphere! Will def go back!!

Cool and quaint house turned into a coffee shop. Good food options (that come with sides and are good portion sizes) along with alcohol and coffee. Theyre known for their Voldemort which is vanilla soda and bamboo charcoal based. Their lemonade, especially their passion fruit one, is really good as well.
