In 2017 I spent $22k in flooring, 3 years later the carpet started to bulge and roll in the doorways and hallways. Even the stairs had started to bulge.The new owner of this company sent out a new crew who did a great job, took over 8 hours and power stretched the entire carpeted areas very satisfied. I also was reassured from the owner that the carpet wasn’t going bad that the lament hadn’t separated from the fibers. My family and I would definitely use this company in the future.

My boyfriend and I had a terrible experience here. I sent him here while I was out of town, convincing him a local flooring shop would be more reliable than Lowe’s in terms of punctuality and quick installation. Our bathroom was 100% prepped. Toilet, light fixture, pedestal sink, mirror removed. Wall very evenly backer boarded. All we needed was tile and someone to put it on a 5 foot wide wall. My boyfriend picked out the tile and was assured everything could be wrapped up soon. He spent $1000 between tile and installation for a tiny powder, which was fine, because we were getting dependability. WRONG. First a call from Carla that one of the tiles wouldn’t be in for a few weeks. Not as planned. Sigh. Ok. We asked when was the absolute latest we could expect it to be installed? Carla gave us a date and my boyfriend agreed since everything was picked out. My boyfriend calls Carla, the week before the “latest” scheduled installation week, he is assured we would be put on the schedule the following week for Wednesday or Thursday. Wednesday comes of the supposed installation week. NO CALL. He calls and Carla is surprised no one has called. Says she will get back to him right away. He explains again we haven’t had a toilet downstairs for weeks and want the job done ASAP. Carla promises to call us back right away. NO CALL. Finally he has to go back to the store and then is informed the installer is actually backlogged and can’t make it until the following week. At this point he’s rightfully upset. He asks for a refund and Carla agrees. She takes off. He ends up spending over 30 minutes at the store waiting for the refund because of some glitch with their refund system. My goodness. This place is a mess. STAY AWAY!
Top notch service, from the minute we walked in it was fantastic service. Brenda and Wyatt were so helpful, patient and very informative. Best prices on the vinyl flooring I picked out. We didn t have to wait weeks to get it installed, we ordered it on Friday and Tue they were here to install. Brenda even came out several times to check on their work and Wyatt came by when the job was done to see how it looked. The installers, Alex and his helper were AMAZING. Alex treats his jobs like he was putting it in his home. He always made sure I liked what they were doing. If you need flooring or carpeting TRUST ME, go to Mayfield Flooring.
