I took my Jetta to get serviced there and everyone was so kind and helpful! My Service Rep Spencer helped me on the phone beforehand and when I got there; he was really helpful and sweet. While my car was being serviced they got me a Lyft to go wherever I wanted and then they sent one when I was ready to come back. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone considering. Super funny, kind, and warm staff. I genuinely enjoyed the experience. Thank you guys so much! π
Anthony Young absolutely killed it at his job when selling me my vehicle. Instantly I was met with a smile and a very positive greeting. He helped me out in every way he possibly could. Iβve been to many different dealerships to buy a car and Iβve met with a lot of car salesmen and this was the best experience Iβve had. Everyone else was extremely friendly and answered every question I had.
This place was very nice. The staff were nice and the wait time was speedy. They gave me my first oil change for free. I will definitely be going back.
Excellent service! Service Rep Randy Ott is dependable and helpful, and has always been so very respectful when we are there.
Great car buying experience!Over the past year Iβve had credit issues & this team went above and beyond to get me the vehicle I wanted (Big thanks to my salesman Daniel for spending more than enough time with me). Ali (finance manager), really went to bat & worked hard with VW Credit to get me a great lease approval. This team earned a lifelong customer for the dealership & VW.Love my new Tiguan!I would recommend this team to anyone! Thanks again for all of the help,Bill
Donβt walk in thinking this place is going to gouge you. Joe Rubi was completely honest, transparent and explained everything so well. Joe and his manager, Van Lesser, left an incredible experience. Joseph in finance was also a pleasure doing business with. Joseph was very honest and friendly. This was my first time purchasing a car so I brought my partner & his mother for help. They both were shocked with how great this dealership was. I will continue my business here and will be referring Joe Rubi @ Camelback Volkswagen everyone.
Nice sales rep but I will not pay 5k over sticker price for and bodys car. (VW Atlas Cross Sport 3.6 premium)
Brought car in for warranty. They ordered parts and its been a month. I have called and left VMs and no return call. Plus they dont have dealer vehicles... But thats everywhere.
Outstanding service! I had an issue with my sunroof and I took it in to get serviced. Kelli went above and beyond. She followed up with me with all the repairs and was incredibly sweet and friendly. I really needed a courtesy vehicle to commute to and from work while my car was in the shop. She said she didnβt have any courtesy vehicles but she found one within a few hours. I totally recommend this dealership for repairs. If I ever need a new car, I look forward to coming back.
I moved to AZ from WI and called numerous dealerships to find my go to for oil changes and service. Camelback VW was by far the most friendly, so I chose them. Excellent customer service, and fast turn around. Highly recommended!
I had an issue with my car that fell under warranty and Austin from Service did an excellent job getting my car fixed and turned around. Thank you for the great help!
I brought my 2017 VW CC for routine maintenance and ever since then, I started getting calls from their sales department like a collection caller wanting money. One of the sales persons advised me to pay off my car in full tried to encourage me to trade it in for a newer car. When did a sales department become a bank? Do you seriously want me to pay off my car so I can go into more car debt after a trade in? What a joke! They kept calling me even after my car became a lemon (went to another VW dealership to buy a replacement vehicle). They continued to call me and I kept telling them I am not interested and still try to push me to sell my new Passat for another car from them. I finally had it and told them I will NEVER do business there again including routine maintenance. I seriously advise to go to another VW dealership if this is how they conduct business. They will just keep calling you to trade in your car even if you own your current one for a few months.
This was my second trip to Camelback VW. My first trip was amazing, despite not being approved for financing, they tried everything in their power to get me a car. This second time I was in a much different situation, if not worse, and yet the did everything in their power, and got me on my way with a car! I absolutely love this dealership and thatβs why I decided to take a second chance, and it worked in my favor. Thank you Carlos and Daniel for all the help!
The service department, General manager and sales team have all been a breeze to do business with.
I can honestly say I am blown away by the amount of courtesy and service provided to me by Camelback Volkswagen. My service advisor was Joseph, and I was also working with the manager Frank. I purchased a lemon from another Volkswagen dealer that was certified preowned. Itβs had issue after issue and they stopped responding to me and stopped caring. They were horrible also when they completed service at Chapman Volkswagen and the management was terrible working with me. My car ended up shutting down on me multiple Times and I finally gave volts wagon at Camelback a call. They immediately assisted me, they provided me with the option of a tow truck from wherever I was at and also repaired the vehicle free! The injector harness was bad and a few other issues along with the CPU. They are taking care of me better than anybody has ever done before. I am shocked at how they dropped what they were doing and immediately rendered aid to me. Without any questions they were phenomenal.I will mention, they did not have any loaners and immediately without hesitation ordered me an enterprise rental until the vehicle was completed. Some thing they did not have to do at all, but they know my car is my life and weβre willing to do anything to keep me on the road.I would really like to thank everyone at Camelback for their ethic and professionalism. Frank, you are an excellent manager and I am very happy that I made the decision to call you guys. The level of service I received was totally out of this world! I want to just express my happiness and The amount of stress relief from this experience.Chapman Volkswagen fell so far below any standards Iβve ever worked with, your company Camelback Volkswagen is absolutely amazing. Thank you so much!Erik S.A Very Happy Customer
Salespeople will not stop contacting me despite asking them not to, about a dozen different times. Trash dealership with trash sales staff.
Steven porter is a no pressure easy going trust worthy person. I surprised that he listened as well as he did to my concerns and worked me a deal that was within my budget. I have a will continue refer this guy to my family and friends. Thanks again Steven
Moved from Florida to Arizona. needed to get a second car for the family (u must drive here). still going through the pandemic or whatever is going on worldwide, prices have gone up through the roof for cars because of the chipset shortage ect. four other dealers said theres no deals because the demand is too high! Camelback VW kept me at my price point and made the deal happen these guys go above and beyond you need to see Sammy the white Arab guy. these guys know what it means to make a customer for life it may be a 40-minute drive for me but they got me for the rest of their lives and mine. the Taos is awesome
I traded in my car and bought a 2018 VW Tiguan. Immediately after I bought it there was a noise in which I told the Sales associate (Oolisa) who helped me purchase the car and the finance associate (Carlos). There was a mistake made on my contract and I was asked to come in and re-sign it but before I did I told Carlos about the noise. We spoke to Kelli from the service dept. and was told that she would take care of it. I was then told by Kelli that all the technicians were gone for the day and so I scheduled to come in on Sat to get it taken care of. I brought it in and was told that they needed to order a part because they were not able to find out what was going on so maybe replacing the part would help with the noise. I was told by Kelli that she would call me when the part came in. A week later I called because I had not heard from her, left a message but there was no return call. I called again and she finally returned my call after 2 weeks and was told that I would have to pay for the part to be replaced since it was βjustβ a noise. I told her that I purchased this car less than 2 weeks ago, the car is still under warranty, I purchased an extended warranty but she stated she was not able to help me unless I was willing to pay for this, which I did not. That issue has still not been resolved. I was basically sent away and told βI am not able to help you.βI was asked to return to the dealership by the finance associate because of an issue with my loan application which took about 2 weeks to be resolved. This has since been resolved but it took having to make multiple phone calls and making trips to the dealership because no one was getting back to me.Fast-forward to a week later my back window was shattered and there was still glass breaking off, and I brought it to the service dept. asking for help. I was concerned if I continued to drive it, I could possibly cause an accident with pieces of glass flying everywhere. The service advisor never even came out to see the car, he never offered to help me get rid of the broken glass, which was still attached to the car or even cover up the window. I was never offered a loaner until I got it resolved. I was basically given a business card for a glass company and told that I canβt help you, after asking for help 3 times. It came to the point where I reached out to the service advisor from the previous dealership (Chapman BMW) asking for help.I have only had this vehicle for 29 days and the treatment and experience Iβve had since then has been very frustrating and disappointing. This is where I need to get my car serviced and because of this experience I am dreading taking my car in. This has been a horrible and frustrating experience for me and not one person has reached out or attempted to help me resolve these issues.
Our experience was absolutely amazing. We are greatly happy with our experience at this place.
Yet again this dealership amazes me!We took our 2016 VW Jetta Hybrid into the dealership for service because there was some trouble with the car going forward. We have a warranty but they refused to cover any of the broken parts claiming a pre-existing condition issue because we only recently bought the warranty policy.Amazingly Rex in service along with his manager Frank managed to get VW to pick up the cost of the repair entirely!!! Im lifelong grateful to Rex and will absolutely never buy anything but a VW! This was a true blessing as there is no way we could have ever afforded a $7k bill for repairs! Please if you need to buy a car make it a VW from Camelback VW! Theyre not wrong when they say theyre different!
The dealership was ok. We were greeted outside as we got our of our car and were asked who we were there to see. Our sales person was good, he helped us understand our lease and was very professional. Unfortunately, this did not carry over to the sales manager and some of the staff who werent wearing masks. The waiting room was ok, but very little to keep you entertained, but I understand that were in the middle of a pandemic so this is actually a good thing. However, the waiting area was dirty and had half drank water bottles and drinks sitting in the chairs. The front desk attendant (also not wearing a mask) would get up every 15 minutes or so to wipe down the surfaces. The staff seemed cold and too themselves and that set the tone for the atmosphere inside the dealership. It wasnt a terrible experience, but it definitely wasnt a good one. Plenty of room for improvement.
Great experience at Camelback VW.Mason went above and beyond to show me different new VWs models based on all the options I was looking for. He covered all the technical and mechanical aspects of the cars in great detail, all with ZERO pressure. We worked a deal right away with Steven (finance), who was also extremely helpful. He went over all the documents, and answered all the questions I had prior to signing any docs.Thank you so much Mason & Steven!
My original review exceeded the character limit (sad) here is the condensed versionβ¦ This rating is for the service department specifically. I am giving Camelback VW a one star rating due to my most recent interaction with them. In June my car started to have a series of issues one thing after the other it seemed. I took my car in on June 15th got it back on the 16th later on that night my AC went out so I took it back on the 17th. I finally got my car back on Friday July 2nd. Sadly, over the weekend my EPC light came on. I had to wait to take my car in because it was the Fourth of July weekend. Come Tuesday, I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, July 7 with Randy O. for the third time. Thus the poor service beginsβ¦ Thursday I heard nothing from him so I decided to check in myself. No response from Randy. He responds on Friday morning 7:53 am his message states whatβs wrong with the car and the cost of the service ($260.00). I pick my car up finally. Iβm excited my car will finally be fixed and hopefully no more issues. I pay. I get my keys. A representative pulls my car up and I drive off, before reaching the end of the lotβ¦ to my dismay, the EPC light comes back on plus a new additional lightβ¦ the check engine. I inform Randy he reluctantly takes the car back. He wanted me to drive an unsafe car smh. Due to the treatment from Randy on Friday, I decided to have my car towed Saturday morning to my preferred VW service department for repairs (I have my receipt of proof). I made this decision because I was treated poorly and I felt Camelback VW did not deserve my money or my business. I also tried to have my money refunded for the EPC light issue not being resolved.unfortunately, I could not get in touch with the service manager Frank C. Every time I called he was in a meeting as I was told so, I left a brief detailed voicemail requesting a return phone call. I also called Randy the service advisor leaving a voicemail and no return phone call. I called a third time spoke with a service advisor Joe and he assured me he will have his manager call. As of today I have yet to receive a return phone call from the service manager Frank C. I have been nothing but kind and respectful to the Camelback VW staff and in return I was made to feel undervalued and unappreciated. The actions of the camelback VW staff have shown a lack of accountability, integrity and honesty opposite of the award winning service they are known for as stated on their website. I will no longer take my car to be serviced there. I will not recommend camelback VW to family or friends. I will also be leaving a review on Yelp and contacting the BBB.
Theyre pretty good. They were very willing to work with me and helped me get a great deal. If you can, I recommend meeting with Ruben.
Purchased my new 2020 Volkswagen Passat R-line from them and the experience was great! Quick simple and fun are the best words to describe my experience! I worked with Ivan who is very nice and knowledgeable! He was helpful and patient with me throughout the whole process. The managers Frank and Ollie really helped me get exactly what I wanted and I appreciate that. Overall the best car buying experience Iβve had, I will be making future purchases with them and I highly recommend everyone to check them out!
My wife and I just leased an Atlas here and had a great experience. We will definitely be back! We worked with Mason who was very helpful and patient with us as we went through the process.
It took a while to get in but once in they seemed to resolve my issue at that time the car has new issue now which is frustrating for a 2019. But the dealership did well
I recently purchased a vehicle from Camelback VW and I have nothing but positive things to say about the team here. Everyone was friendly and respectful and treated me like family. Ivan, my salesman was absolutely amazing and at no point did I feel rushed or uncomfortable. Carlos Iβm finance made sure that I was kept informed and understood the options available to me. I will be recommending purchasing from this dealership to all of my friends and loved ones in the market. Thanks again guys for everything.
The recall was abs module but when it was checked they said that that particular part wasnt covered!!!
Allen and I were looking into buying a 2020 VW Jetta GLI. We reached out to your dealership and Amir Kowkabi arranged a test drive for us on Tuesday. We talked with him and took a test drive. We liked the car very much and decided we wanted to purchase. We worked with Amir and he helped us get a price that was mutually agreeable. We bought a white GLI and we just love it. We think it looks great and drives wonderfully. Lots of great road feel. Amir was very helpful to us in the purchase process. Very friendly and professional. We are very happy with our GLI and highly recommend both your dealership and Amir. Thank you for your great service.Carol and Al Kandell
I bought a 2020 Jetta from Tyler about a month ago and couldnt be happier with my experience! As a first-time buyer, it was extremely helpful to work with someone who replied to questions quickly, had a flexible schedule, and knew everything about the car. I highly recommend this dealership and specifically Tyler.
Excellent dealership who serves the customer.....a dealership you can trust....the people that work at Camelback VW are very courteous and friendly.....highly recommended.......
I just purchased a new Atlas at the Camelback VW and had a great experience! Mason was so helpful whether it was over the phone or in person. He was quick and efficient in getting me the car and price I was looking for!
To do the job and got my car out in a timely fashion. This was a factory recall of the exhaust system required flashing new software
I had Chris Parker from the service department help me when I brought in my vehicle. Chris went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was taken care of and properly fixed. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure my experience was totally stress free. He truly is the best! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing service at this location.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This dealership has the worst sales customer service I have ever seen and once they get your money, all promises will be void. They engage in bait and switch, withholding information, and fraud. First issue is they sold us a NEW car but once all the papers were signed, we were informed that the car was the GMs personal loaner vehicle and they only had one key. The second key would be delivered, however, two weeks later and still no key. They refuse to communicate or return our calls. They also promised to detail the car after we smelled smoke (apparently from the GM). They refuse to return our calls. We had discussed and have it in saved text messages that we had outside financing and that their loan was in backup position until Wednesday (deal was done at 7p on a Saturday). We contacted them on Tuesday to get our outside funding information to them and they had already sold the loan. This was a huge lie and fraud on their part and to top it off, they clicked on loan paperwork that the car was new when it was a demo. Also fraud!!! Do not recommend doing business with this awful company!!! But at your own risk!!!
I have come to only trust them with my GTI. Always do hreat work. Rex is the best at making sure it gets done. Thanks guys! Car is loke new again! Yay
I never got the 2nd key like they told me ever since I bought my car not too long ago, Ive reached out to my sales guy and got a reply back saying hell look into it but that was it, I followed up with the finance guy Ali who said, whatever you need let me know, he told me that at that time when I bought the car,but never got a reply back from him. Ill say this, my mistake was telling them I got approve from my bank and honestly I walked out of there like I have been robbed. They will try everything for you NOT to use your bank and they will say, oh yes we use that bank too, but of course they even didnt tried to use my bank, but got me to get all these warranties, in which I know thats how they make there money also. Could I have walked away?Sure! but at that time, I got into a wreck and needed a car asap, another mistake me telling them that, oh well lesson learned.Update since I got a reply back.Im not going to call customer service, there is nothing they can do expect apologize and pretend to look into the matter, been down this road before, nothing change on dealerships, Im just dumb to keep buying from them.
Do not buy any vehicle from here they are unprofessional, no sales rep or manager calls you back. Purchased my car from here and have issues with it already.(Mind you they knew of the issues of the car and didnt fix it prior to selling) This place is a joke!
Theyre the best!! I bought my car about a month ago and anytime I call or go in for any reason they take care of me!!
If youre in the market for a new set of wheels without feeling pressured to make a decision, stop in at Camelback VW and ask for Devin Rothrock. He made purchasing my second VW about as smooth as a hot knife in butter. Devin took the time to help me explore not just the vehicle I wanted, but recommended a few others that fit my needs. He was truly vested in making sure I made the right decision, which I really appreciated. I dont think I couldve hit the gong any louder without it falling off the hooks reliefed that I got a great deal from Camelback VW!
I leased a vehicle from this dealership in 2017 then moved to the east coast. I told no less than 10-15 people this from June 2017 to present that the car is in another state and to please stop contacting me. Each individual promises me my phone number has been placed on the do not call list for their dealership yet I continue receiving phone calls. I bought out my lease through a dealership near my current home and Camelback VW is STILL CALLING ME about returning my vehicle. I called tonight after receiving what is most likely the 30th phone call over a 4 year period and was told βIβm so sorry I donβt see your number on our do not call list Iβll submit the request right now.β CAMELBACK VW - PLEASE I am BEGGING YOU, update your records. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience.
A great dealership...very friendly and courteous and a genuine concern for the customer..I also might say that Shannon in customer relations was very helpful... great job!!!
They started off okay in initial conversation but this dealership only looks out for what is best for them, not the customer...and our salesman even told us that when we when we questioned the bad deal they were trying to make with us!!! We loved the car we were looking at and ready to buy, but we went elsewhere and bought same car in a different color right after at a different dealership that was fair and worked with us. This place is not honest, has too many hidden fees and is not out to make the customer an honest deal. If you want to be behind smokescreens, pay for things you dont want and be haggled and forced to do everything the dealerships way and blindly sign, buy here!**Updated on 12/2/19: Response to my review that you dont force customers to buy anything?! We walked out because their salesman told us we had no financing options except through VW and we had to buy all the cars add-on charges whether we wanted add-ons or not. And there were no recommendations about what was best...as I recall, Ollie, who we were working with said we had to use VW financing because it benefited the dealership and he would not get financing options for us outside of VW and oh wait...theres our choice, we could choose to refinance later. Thanks but no thanks Camelback. There are honest dealerships out there doing good business but you are not one of them! And I dont appreciate being told something completely contrary to how youre practicing business, you say thats not how you do business, but it is because thats what you did. Shame on you, Camelback VW! Thank goodness my husband knows this industry so we could walk away and not be talked into a bad deal! I also had incessant messages from your staff after we walked out asking us to come back and make a deal. Leave us alone, we left and wouldnt come back to keep hearing more BS from you.
Almost $90 to clean my windows, carpets, and trim??? And what does refresh your fabric mean? Throw some febreze in the back seats?? I just bought my Jetta 5 months ago and this is what showed up in my email. Camelback VW must be trippin because theres plenty of competitors in the area that do much more for far far less.I recommend car owners do their homework and check out other places to clean their cars.
Came here to maintenance my girlfriends vehicle for the 70,000 mile service and we left with a new 2020 Tiguan SE. Devin was really helpful as a salesman and made everything seamless. He wasnβt pressuring at all and was very good at explaining everything to us beforehand so it wasnβt a lot of back and forth, and no fast talking. He then handed us off to the finance guy, Porter. He was very transparent and did not rush through the options. He explained everything and did not try to up sell all the extra options. It was a nice experience buying a car and didnβt take too long to complete everything. Definitely recommend anyone to go here for their VW maintenance and buying their new dream car from Devin.
My husband and I were dreading the whole idea of having to buy a car so we prepared ourselves for a long and frustrating day. Our experience at Camelback VW was exactly the opposite!!! Our salesman Paul Valentino literally made it one of the best car buying experiences ever!! He was kind, knowledgeable, honest and straight to the point. I was joking around about wanting the model on the showroom floor and within minutes the crew at Camelback VW opened the big doors and drove it out so I could test drive it!! I was given the best deal on it and there was no pressure or lengthy back and forth discussions. Finance was easy and painless, the guys had the car detailed and filled up and off I went! The whole process took only a couple of hours and I couldnβt be happier!! Camelback VW has my business for life!! Thank you Paul and everyone at Camelback VW for making this such a great experience!!!
I came for my service maintenance on my 2016 VW Tiguan S and left with a brand new 2020 VW Tiguan SE! I am so happy! Devin and Porter helped me out - excellent customer service. If youβre in the market for a new car, I 100/100 recommend! Ask for Devin
I already spoke to Shannon regarding very rude treatment by Joe R. in lease buyouts, who belittled me before hanging up on me. Instead of trying to absolve the situation he continued to text me on his personal cellphone still with a rude tone. Horribly unprofessional and concerning. As someone who works in sales I cannot even fathom why you would want to get emotional and lose a sale over me simply pointing out inflated prices which I later found out to be true. Scottsdale Volkswagon gave me a much more professional experience. Joe said: Youre a a great salesman right? Or so you say you are. Do you work for free? and hung up on me when I tried to negotiate fees and rates very politely. Even after I said I understood he was just following protocol. Overall, this is the worst experience Ive had buying a car. As well as the most unprofessional exchange I think Ive ever had at any business, ever.
Bought my car here a few months ago so I called a few weeks ago to schedule an oil change. The rep who answered took my number down and told me theyβd call me back.. well.. here we are weeks later and still no call back to schedule an oil change.
Passing through had problem with my sensors they took me right away very friendly gave great travel advise fixed problem and washed car so asking recommend this dealership
This dealership is the worst place to get a car. I bought a New Passat from them and traded in my Hyundai Sonata. Generally every dealer gives you documents for your new car. They dont they email it to you. I had warranties on my Hyundai which are supposed to be canceled and for that I need the odometer disclosure from them. I have been there six times and everytime they just give me lame excuses. They are only interested in your money and once they get it they dont care about you or your vehicle.PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP THEY ARE BIG TIME CHEATS.
Steven P worst guy to deal with this place is a joke donβt recommend buying from them
They went above and beyond for me & Im very grateful. Thank you Rex.
If I could give them NO STARS I would. I have leased vehicles from this dealership before and unfortunately this is the second time I have this type of issue. About six months ago my lease ended and I turned in my vehicle. I leased another vehicle the same day. After many hours there they guaranteed me all was taken care of and I would not receive additional charges, as I did the last time. Well what I feared happened. I received a letter in the mail, six months later, for additional charges. They will tell you anything to make the deal, even if it means lying. Nothing indicating there could be possible charges or anything of that sort. Avoid this dealership at all cost.
Iβve brought my 2017 GTI to Camelback VW several times now for service & after my last oil change/tire rotation, I noticed the technician who was taking care of my car decided to also adjust my projector headlights, that overtime must have come loose and so the lights were not even. Before bringing my car in this really bugged me & I told myself I needed to fix it at some point, but I never got around to it and often times forgot about it. This labor might have gone unnoticed, but I caught it the minute I pulled into the garage and my headlights kicked on. Itβs nice to see the tech taking extra time and care to do that & shows good intentions by Camelback VW.
I had spoken with a representative regarding an online price for a vehicle a week in advance and made an appointment before driving all the way down from northern arizona to purchase a car. When speaking to them on the phone they ensured me the price was very negotiable and there was wiggle room. By the time I got to the dealership the price of the vehicle had raised and the sales people were very rude. They kept referring to my boyfriend as my father and would barely speak to me directly as if he was purchasingthe car, not me. Not only that but as negotiating the price I find an additional $2100 worth of upgrades that I would have to take despite not approving them during the week between making the appointment and driving down to buy the car! As they explained it to me I could either take the full price and not have to pay for those upgrades (which was $1000 more than the original online price i contacted them about) or negotiate a lower price and pay for those upgrades. So either way I was paying the same price despite not wanting the upgrades. Super rude and aggressive sales manager and condescending to say the least. if you are a woman in your mid 30s this is not the place to buy! They will try their hardest to push you around and take advantage of you. I would rate them below 1 star if possible.
Do not pay for the Zaktek exterior and interior warranty. It is an absolute scam. The sales team applied it before asking me and then charged me saying they couldnβt take it off. They also knew I was an out of state resident and the Zaktek warranty is only redeemable at their location in Phoenix and did not make me aware. I was a first time car buyer and should have known to look out for these scammers. Not to mention the sales team misspelled my name and email address so I didnβt receive any notifications for renewal. Typical car salesman looking to scam anyone they can. Be very wary when working with these people.
Truly has a very bad financial service. Protect and take care you money . VW is giving to us(Martin) a terrible service. 5 months later they want to get more money of my new leasing car. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT to NONE.
Hands down best car buying experience I have had yet. Ali in finance was so helpful and did everything he could to get the right deal for my difficult situation. Pleasant guy to work with and made the process easy. Tim was my sales rep, great guy and very nice.Thank you so much Camelback VW for your exceptional car buying experience! I left the dealership happy that I chose your location, your entire staff is awesome.
Ruben and Paul where amazing salesmen!!! They answered all the questions I had and were prompt with the buying process. would defiantly recommend these two in purchasing a vehicle
Ben helped me find a great car, and was super patient with me, showing me a ton of potential cars until we found exactly what I was looking for! They gave me even more than I expected on my trade-in and the financial department made the process extremely easy. I have never been treated so well at any dealership. Thank you Ben for your amazing service!!
Walked the lot looking 20 minutes looking for a Tiguan. Never greeted, BMW, across the street had a used one. Walked over and Bought a 330i.
100/5 stars!! Shoutout to Paul Valentino for making my first time car buying experience so amazing. Also thanks to Micheal and Ali for helping me through the process. I would highly recommend camelback Volkswagen to anyone looking for a transparent, efficient, and honest car buying experience!
Had an amazing experience loved the car my salesman chose for me. Very family friendly environment made you feel apart of the family there. Easy process but did take long! Another than that everyone there was great and Iβm loving my New Jetta R-Line
I have a 2015 Golf and have almost exclusively used Camelback VW because of Kelli Irish in service. She is prompt, informative and always follows through on my inquiries to completion. You will definitely pay for quality service, but their warranties and customer service have been worth it for me!
Skylar and Daniel were excellent help. Skylar has a no-BS attitude and was very direct with us through the whole process about a Jeep I was very interested in. Daniel was awesome and kindly explained my credit situation to me after I had a horrible experience at Bell Honda. They worked with us and even though the sale didnβt work out they were awesome to work with. Weβre back with Ruben to check out some other options in our price range and my husband and I are confident that weβll have another great experience
Tell them MAD MAX sent you and ask for your prize.. This team aims to please and treats you with respect. 0% interest on a 40 mpg car,.. its a no brainier. Trade in your unrealable car and never worries with bumper to bumper warranties.
Extremely unprofessional and dishonest. do not trust these guys or buy a car from them. they do not communicate with each other and do not understand the basics of finance. the manager michael is rude and condescending when confronted about the awful service instead of just taking responsibility like an adult he gaslights you to make you feel as if it was your fault.
Camelback VW was an exceptional experience! Mason and Kyle with a smile were truly fantastic and worked hard to make a deal. I appreciated the kindness and genuine experience. Thank you Mason for my beautiful new VW baby!
The finance guy Carlos was extremely rude and arrogant towards my wife. So much so that we ended up going elsewhere.
Great service rex was a big help.
I love bringing my car here to get serviced! They are always so nice and get the job done. My only issue is that they keep calling me to trade my car in. I already told them several times that I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE IN MY CAR. This month they have contact me 3 times and even though I ignore the call they still try calling me. Im this close to not bringing my car in anymore just because of their annoying calls. They are very pushy and will not take no for an answer.
I started my VW search around the valley and none of them had great customer service like Camelback VW. Tyler, my sales guy, took his time to find me the perfect car. Joseph and Mike were also very attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend camelback VW compared to others in the valley.Besides the sales department, I had a great experience with the service department. My new car was having manufacturers defects and the service department got me into their first available on multiple occasions to make sure the car was up to standard. I recommend Kelli and Bryce.
Ugh. I went in to look for a new Golf R and the salesperson/sales manager were ridiculously terrible. They tried to hard sell me the entire time. Most unpleasant sales experience Ive ever had... and Ive been in sales my entire career. 1 year later I still get weekly calls from them about buying a car from them and theres literally no way to make it stop. Ive tried about ten times and I feel like Im just wasting my time.
Great people to serve you
Camelback VW has some of the best customer service Iβve experienced at a car dealership! My salesman Mason is a bright young man with a great attitude and gets the job done for you! In addition to the finance expert Ali! They were wonderful, I highly recommend Camelback VW, my son and I are loving our Tiguan!!
If I could give them a 0 I would. This was my first car buying experience and I was taken advantage of from the beginning. Being a young female I was already nervous that this was going to happen to me. I came in pre-qualified to make a purchase of a used car. After test driving the vehicle and looking it over I went back inside to get exact numbers on the car. I looked the paperwork over and I said I wanted to talk it over with my family and I would call them and let them know my decision. Kyle came over and asked what they needed to do to get me to make the purchase same day. I told him that this was my first big purchase and I wanted to get some advice from my family before signing anything. Kyle asked me what my concerns were with the vehicle and I stated that the wheels looked cracked and he told me that they were just hubcaps and that if I did the deal today, he would make sure 4 new hubcaps were put on whether he had to buy them himself or not. I said okay give me a few hours I want my uncle to come look at the car with me (he is a mechanic). We came back a few hours later and my uncle said he thought it was a good deal and the car was in good shape mechanically. My uncle stayed with me for a little bit to get all the paperwork started, he didnt want them to throw anything extra in that I did not understand. He wasnt able to stay the whole time but I thought at that point I could take care of it. As soon as he left I felt everything shift and they started going back on almost everything. My interest rate kept changing, and then they come up and say that they went and looked at the hubcaps and theyre not really hub caps theyre a rare material thats like in between wheels and hubcaps. Me not knowing much about cars I was like okay so what are you going to do? They said they would replace one hubcap only. I tried to tell them that i was promised 4 not one but they didnt seem to care. I felt like as soon as they got my money all customer service went out the window. So I just figured I would have to buy it on my own. So I go to leave the dealership and both front tires go flat. I was there on a Sunday so the service department was closed. My salesman Tim, promised that he would have them put two new tires on first thing in the morning and I could come get it. I show up the next morning at 8am, service opens at 7am, and no one knows a thing about my car, where the keys are and Tim is no where to be found. Turns out he didnt set anything up to be done and wasnt even working that morning. I had to take a half day of work off just to be there that morning and then wait 3 hours for the tires to be done. They did try to compensate me with getting my hubcaps refinished which I appreciated but I was still upset with the whole situation. The customer service and the environment at this dealership is horrible. I totally feel taken advantage of because I am a female and I would not recommend this place to anyone.
My sister and I visited Camelback VW Subaru last week. We had a wonderful experience with our salesperson Mason. He was helpful and professional. Go see Mason, heβll do his best for you!
Really poor service.I took my Touareg for an oil change, and when I left the store I found out that they had overfill the oil. I took it back to get some oil out (it needs to be vacuumed from the top), and after several hour of wait, i was told that they run over some tools with my car, and ruined one of my tires, and the set was brand new. I said Ok, stuff happens. Left in an Uber, and when I came back, I found out that they had installed mismatched tire. The service adviser tried to tell me, that it doesnt matter, which is not the case. I insisted on a matching tire, and they ordered me one, which got installed a week later. Now I am not one to complain, but after a week or so I happened to open the hood off my car, and I found out, that theres oil spilled all around the oil cap, and down the front of the block, and the plastic engine cover was not popped back in, where it belongs. It was just laying on the bottom of the engine bay.I cant believe, that a factory service department will be so sloppy, withsomething so simple, such as an oil change.
Excellent service and personalized attention
I found a problem with my 2012 Golf R and called Camelback VW where I regularly take the vehicle for its minimal maintenance needs. I spoke with the service rep and he invited me to bring the car and to come in and speak to him. I arrived and went to the service desk and spoke to Alejandro Gallegos who is the service consultant at the dealership that I spoke to when I called. He was courteous and listened to my problem attentively. Once I was done with my explanation of the problem he asked me some questions which I answered to the best of my abilities, I also showed him a short video I had made describing the problem. He asked me to wait while he consulted with his manager and Volkswagen America. I waited in a very comfortable and air conditioned space. There were donuts, coffee, popcorn, and water available. After a relatively short wait he told me that VW would completely cover the repair under my cars warranty. I am an old man, I have owned many vehicles (currently 5), and I have hardly ever been treated in such a straightforward way at a car dealership. The work was completed in the amount of time promised and the car works great. It was a distinct pleasure and I will recommend the Camelback VW service department without reservations.
I usually dont do this but I feel like I had to share. I went up thinking that I was going to be able to either one turn in my lease or get into another vehicle. The only reason I went there was because I was told numerous times they could do it no problem, within 10 minutes of getting there we were being pulled into double payments and vehicles we had no interest in. I get it they dont do the financing part but when they tell me that they are able to do this and then come back and its double the amount it is a bit disheartening to know the person who is supposed to be working for our best interest is just lying to our face. It is no wonder why organizations like carvana and carmax are going global because of their focus on customer experience over snake oil salesman. Dont go there if you value your time.
One of their employees named Michael Stensaas had made an appointment for me to go to the Volkswagen car lot and look at Volkswagen bugs. Well he must have known that they werent making those anymore since they had quit making them the year prior; but thats not what he told me. He said he would be happy to make us an appointment and that they had a Volkswagen available but it was a used one and that it was a blue ragtop. I said I wasnt really interested in a used one but I would come and see it if he wanted me to. He said hed call back tomorrow and let me know if it passes inspection.( A lot of this was in text messaging which I saved so that this person cannot lie about how this went.) So in the text messages he said they would have more bug cars coming in the next day and that I should pick what color I want him to look for. I said I like teal which is also quoted in my text messages. Well my husband had to take a day off work to see Mike since we missed an earlier appointment. The next thing I find out is that nobody knew we were coming. So we go up to the door and try to get somebodys attention and another man comes out, (a manager) and we asked him where Michael Stensaas was. He said he wasnt there and was over at the Subaru lot. I said he told us to be here at a certain time to look at some Volkswagen bugs. The manager checks the appt list and calls Mike about us. The manager comes back out stating that Mike will be right over to see us. We asked him where the Volkswagen bugs were that we were supposed to see. The manager replied that he didnt know of any Volkswagen bugs coming in since they were not being made anymore. He did however know about the blue ragtop one. I responded that Mike had told me that it had not passed inspection. I also told this manager that he said several brand newVolkswagen bugs were coming into the lot and I was to pick my color. So his manager proceeded to say they dont carry Volkswagen bugs anymore nor are they being made and that there is no Volkswagen dealerships selling Volkswagen bugs in the entire Valley. I realized then that this car salesman had tricked me to come in most likely to try and sell me something else. The worst thing about this is that my husband took a day off from work. And in this time of covid-19 not only is that hard on us economically it is dangerous to go to places to go see other people so taking a chance like this had to be important to us. I do not feel that Mike Stensaas had the right to try to get a sale by fooling us. The manager also was not on top of the tricks that this salesman was doing. All together I hold both those people responsible for the disappointment they brought me and my husband. I would never recommend this Volkswagen car lot for any of my friends my family or even people I dont like
I took my car in for service on Nov 18th and paid over $2k for repairs. The service was completed and I received my car on Nov 20th and next day the check engine light came on. I took the car back in on Nov 23rd. After another 25-pt inspection the technician recommended ANOTHER pricey repair, citing the age of the vehicle (09 CC w/ 98k miles) and the miles driven between 11.20 and 11.23 (which was 60 miles according to their own intake documents). The technician stated the engine was too covered in oil so it was hard to tell what the exact issue was the first time. Excuse me, what?! So Im now to trust you with another repair that MAY potentially fix the issue?? Yeah, no. Terrible, terrible service.
Talked with Joseph about a vehicle Im currently leasing. He was super helpful and patient with my questions. He took the time to give me the information I needed to make an educated decisions. Would highly recommend this dealership and Joseph specifically.
Im not a fan of the general experience of buying a new car. Over many years (this aint my first rodeo) the majority of those purchases have been, to put it mildly, a pain in the nether regions.Camelback Volkswagen Subaru is one of only TWO auto dealers (over nearly 50 years!) to have made that experience actually pleasant. We stopped in after my daughter mentioned that she felt she had been well-treated there. We were actually on a long-distance trip at the time, and thinking we might shop around for a vehicle when we reached our destination. Our intent was to just get a good look at the Outback, which we had determined might best fit our needs via doing a lot of web research over about a few months.Kris Patel, our salesperson, walked us through everything we wanted to know, and offered to take us for a test drive, despite knowing we were in transit and unlikely to buy right then. Kudos to Kris; his patience and friendliness paid off.Negotiations were easy, and the price was right on the first try.Net result was that in a pleasant few hours (most of which was doing the unavoidable regular car purchase things like verifying credit, and doing all the required paperwork) we drove off with the exact car we wanted. Thanks also to Business Manager Steven Porter for his lucid explanations of all the documents, and for not being pushy regarding extras.Cant recommend this dealership enough, based on this purchase experience. And after a couple of weeks and nearly 2200 miles, Im actually just as pleased with the Outback as I was with the Lexus RX450h we traded in for it.
Highly recommend Camelback Volkswagen! Amazing customer service and very easy to work with! Ask for Ruben Mendoza heβs the best. Ali best finance person ever!
This was the BEST experience I have had in purchasing a car. Ruben Mendoza was extremely pleasant to deal with; especially in discussing specific details about the various vehicles. I will definitely seek him out again when I trade this car for a new one.
Camelback VW made my experience a good one to remember. Ruben Mendoza was our sales rep and I would highly recommend going in and asking for him, he made buying a car easy. All the other staff was very nice also. #TeamVW
Quick and easy experience. Took all the hard work out of the car process and put my mind at ease.
Never ever go to this place for service. I replaced my brake pad and roters rear side 12/19. They did even not replace brake pad roters. Please be careful going to this place for service. They will rob you. I am suggest people go to different dealership or go to specialty who does European car. Please do not go this dealership.
Camelback VW SubaruJun 5, 2020Conned Liars and thievesThey had my car for over 2 months guessing as to what was wrong. Sent me home with it after one month and it had the same issue. Limped it back in and they took another month to screw around with it. Charged 1200.00 for a transmission wire harness. Said it was fixed. Drove it off the lot and it stalled out in front of the dealership. Almost died as this was cutting across traffic on a left turn. A cop was there and stopped traffic and helped me push it back in. The service departments mouths were wide open apologetic and said oh we will fix this, we are so sorry. I say make sure Im refunded as you didnt fix anything. Two days later, oh hey sorry. You need a new transmission for 6000. Oh and by the way we wont be refunding the worthless work we already did or crediting it towards the new transmission. As an aside I spent 2,500 on transmission repairs here 6 months ago. This all should have been covered under the prior work warranty. They never refunded it because they are crooks. I had it towed elsewhere and fixed for 300. Never go here.
Vincent the best salesman Iβve ever met and Iβve bought over 20 cars! Thanks for the 2018 ford truck!
