This place is amazing. All kinds of different works and in different languages. All categories from kids, to teen, to historical, etc, etc. Beautiful spaces and incredibly kind people. Im a teacher and its great they offer a discount. There are also events from time to time that I will be checking out whenever I can, as well as enjoying the coffee shop thats there too. Not sure if they have like a return and earn program (return the book and get more store credit), but that would be something to add. Ill definitely be back. I loved this place and I think you will too.

Palabras is a store who knows who it is. And that includes so many titles that would be hard to find in mainstream bookstores, as well as some amazing local art. They also provide community support and mutual aid. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Palabras Bilingual Bookstore has been my favorite bookstore since they opened in 2015. Their selection of books is very intentional and you will find books there you wont find on other bookstore shelves. Theyre very community minded and host a ton of great events throughout the year. Its one of my favorite spots to hang out and pick up a book!

This place is not just my favorite bookstore but my all time favorite place. I think when I die, Heaven will just be Palabras but with all my childhood pets. I havent been able to go in person since the pandemic, but the online ordering has been saving my life. Excellent communication when theres a delay and lots of awesome books available. Cant wait to be able to attend events there again!

This is an amazing little independent bookstore! Since I am a school teacher and a mom, I mostly looked at the childrens books. They have both new and used books that are bilingual in Spanish and several other languages. I attended when they were having a special celebration. We found several great books for my son and my classroom along with a few for me from the $1.00 cart!

I always look for small businesses to support instead of big retailers. Im glad I found this spot. A friend is familiar with Palabras & suggested I shop there. Ordering online was easy & I do appreciate them taking COVID concerns into consideration & offering curbside pickup! Definitely shopping here again.

I went today for the first time and really enjoyed it. They have a lot of Spanish-language titles available which I was specifically looking for. If you want to check out an independent store, I recommend this one. I’ll definitely come back.

I was hoping to find some books about baking in spanish but their selection was very limited. There was a group just sitting around in the store. Some seemed like they worked there but didnt offer to help us.

Great community-centered, multi-cultural bookstore!My purchases were regarding:An American black social study titled,Black Like Me that was a must in the 70s...AND,A Native American childrens story with illustrations, signed by the author!THUS,This is really a multi-cultural bookstore with lots of cool books, all within Coronado walking distance!Thank you for your presence!

I went here last Friday for a poetry read for LGBT+. I had a great time. I only wish that the chair were more comfortable.

Taking Spanish classes here on Thursday nights. I would have never visited have it not been for the classes. But it is a very nice small business bookstore with healthy foods and a Cafe inside. Staff is very kind and helpful.
