Got an email saying my books were ready. I live 30 min away. So. I went to pick them up. 5 people were behind the computers to check people out. I think 2 or 3 of them were being trained. Customer service was bad, even though the people who seemed to have been there knew what they were doing. When I got up to the register, they said I cancelled one of my books. I had not. Instead of retrieving my books, they said my books werent ready and to come another day. Wasted a trip out. I should have had my books delivered.

It was great. I went to the book store to spend all my money on graduation regalia for my Fall Graduation in 6 weeks. Now I am broke but at least I got that over with at a discounted rate. Congrats to all Sun Devil Fall 2018 graduates. GO DEVILS!!

Horrible customer service. ASU Needs to have better communication with students and staff! I went to the bookstore because online it says it closes at four and they were closed 45 minutes early. This is completely unprofessional and does not match the online hours posted. I have never gone to an ASU bookstore without some sort of issue arising and I will continue to avoid giving them my money if possible. Very frustrated with how things are disorganized and inconsistent (especially for the over inflated prices they are charging students for merchandise).

Was hoping to find some Sun Devil ties and athletuc jerseys. No ties and a myriad of boring shirts. Plus 4 employees who didnt seem to acknowledge my existence.

Could use a few more items and with it being for students who are gonna struggle prices could be a tad bit better I still spent alot of money there for my daughter and myself so it was worth it.

I went in today to buy a tophat subscription. They sold me a turningpoint subscription. When I found out I needed a different code, I returned ten minutes later with my code partially scratched off and my receipt. They refused to return it, however they have sold me subscription codes secondhand that were scratched off in previous semesters. Consider the bookstore an endless overpriced money hole. Go to Tempe store for ASU gear and stick to amazon and other sellers for books and other supplies.

If it were possible to give half a star I would, as someone who works in retail and more importantly a manager in a retail setting, I know what great customer service is like. When i ordered my book Thursday the 16th i got an email saying please allow 24-48 hours for your book to transfer between campuses and got a follow up email Saturday the 18th saying my books had arrived, not please allow one to two business days for the book to arrive at the selected book store of your convenience, I went in Monday the 20th asking for my book, they told me to come back Tuesday the 21st since they have not received the book i ordered yet, i came back Tuesday for them to re-explain to me it will take 24-48 hours for the book to get here. Again i received the email saying my books were ready to be picked up Saturday the 18th, but she informed me to call back later in the afternoon to check and see if they got there after their shipment had arrived, so i left to class with a fair bit of frustration. After class on Tuesday i called back during the hours they informed me i should 12-1 pm and someone told me they had not processed their shipment yet so she couldnt find my book and was informed to call back tomorrow. While walking to class today and giving the store a fair amount of time to process shipment between the day before and this morning I called again inquiring about the status of my book i told the lady on the phone my order number and was placed on a brief hold, when she returned to the phone she abruptly said we dont have it and hung up the phone before I even had a chance to ask when I should call back next. I understand the frustrations that come with a customer service job but accurate information and providing polite customer experiences are ways to combat bad interactions in the store and to make sure that reviews like this dont have to be written.
