Worst car buying experience I have ever had. Bought the car with check engine light on the said only needed 02 sensor replaced and would be easy fix they would take care of. So I went to there mechanic which Is 60 miles from my house and he said catalytic converter and have to order. So made second trip he installed and check engine light back on. Made 3rd trip he said they bought a bad catalytic converter. So make 4th trip to another one of there mechanics he replaced 02 censor and catalytic converter this is after they tell me they illegally sold car without emissions test prior to sell, check engine light came back on again. So finally tired of making the trip they come get the car they had fixed last Friday. Talked to Kenny he said they would bring it back Tuesday or Wednesday this week now it’s Thursday and I’m being told they don’t have guys to return my car. My only way to make the trip would be an Uber which will take more money from me. All 4 times I took to there mechanics I took time from work. They have had my car 2 and a half weeks. Don’t buy a car here worst ever. Who knows when I’ll get my car back????

Kenny & Karl were straight up with my husband and I. We found the truck we wanted, did the credit check, told us what we were able to work out again no run around (no BS). My husband and I actually left and went looking at a few more car lots but by the end of the day we knew we would go back to Advantage to get the truck for the BEST DEAL!! When we went back to do the paperwork etc it only took about 30 minutes. They are con artists, try selling me a truck they now have posted as a mechanic special. I returned it and still have not received my $2000 down payment or my trade in back and it’s been 4 months! Do not trust these people they will do you wrong and rob you!! Reporting them to the BBB as well as filling a loawsuit!

Bought a 2009 Toyota Tacoma here, was a fair deal as far as Im concerned however had issues initially with the AC going out. They eventually fixed it at no additional cost, so i got to give good review. I think the bad reviews are just due to the fact they dont got the man power to deal with unknown issues that come with used cars.

So far so good! Excellent customer service! Laid back, no pressure, lets you look around without hovering over you to distract you from looking. They didnt come out like vultures when I drove up, unlike the Chevy dealer on bell and 23rd ave. Kenny was straight forward and didnt beat around the bush, listened to what I wanted. I visited twice before buying the truck. Both times no pressure. Even while I was with him he answered his phone and was straight with a first time buyer, telling him he didnt want that truck with 300,000 miles. He has some good trucks on his lot, and some high mileage ones that would be good for someone looking for a farm truck.

Inspect these vehicles before you do anything else! My husband did a quick inspection of a truck we were planning on buying straight up. So much wrong with it!!! More then $5000 in repairs are needed on that truck. And that’s just what we could see! The sales guy didn’t come talk to us when we were looking at the trucks either! His response to my husband simply walking into the sales office was “if you don’t like it, don’t buy it.” So we didn’t. Took our cash elsewhere. Truck is still parked there... in all it’s broke down, overpriced glory.

My husband and I financed a 2007 Ford F-350 Super Duty Pickup Truck a couple days ago on February 23,2021. We drove the truck 175 miles. We had the truck no more than 5 hours before the truck broke down 3 miles north of Superior, AZ on Highway 60 about 9PM. Arizona Highway Patrol responded to the scene, as the officer arrived he assisted with water to cool the truck as the motor was overheating and had no sign of any water or coolant. He also Dispatched a tow truck to the area, which the truck was towed back to Superior to the Copper Mountain Motel. Where my family and I had stayed for the night on February 23, 2021. I immediately texted our salesman “Kenny” and notified him of the incident and asked what he could do or what I could do?The next morning (2/24/2021) “Kenny” responded and called. Stating “I am just the salesperson and takes care of getting my customers financed and into a vehicle. Getting the vehicle back to the dealership is the customers responsibility.”And that I should go buy two batteries and have it put into the truck at my own expense. Or that maybe it could bad wires or a bad alternator in the truck, preventing the truck to kick over and start. I also mentioned to him that we had been sold a “lemon” he stated lemon laws don’t pertain to “used vehicles.”Later that morning about 10:26 am “Kenny” returned my phone call and said he was sending a tow truck to pick up the truck after countless phone calls to him and attempts to get some sort of assistance from the dealership, considering we had handed over every penny we had on us!!!Upon waiting for a tow truck the next day on February 24, 2021. I began to look at previous emissions info that were in the glove box. Both had shown dates and mileage.On 10/27/18 the mileage read at 219,000 and on 10/30/19 the mileage read 243,870.On our contract - dated for 02/23/21 the mileage read 251,736 but on the actual odometer the mileage was 201,602.I immediately went online and obtained my own carfax report which indicated odometer fraud had been reported.I called the finance company and two days later they still have NOT received the contract. I have also canceled our insurance policy.We put down $6,500 cash as a down payment. Leaving us with a $500 bill. Kenny literally demanded that I pay him the remainder $500 that day. After the truck had already broke down, he was still adamant that he get the rest of the down payment.Kenny and Karl both made it clear that the truck repairs weren’t their problem and that I would have to get the truck back to the dealership at my own expense. Buy two batteries at my own expense. And that the 500 mile or 15 day policy won’t cover us. Their dealership insurance company doesn’t cover “loaner vehicles” and that they would fix the problem. And also replace the cracked windshield as well, as they sold us the truck with a cracked windshield.On February 25, I called the dealership countless times before Karl had answered my call. And he was so defensive towards me. When I confronted him about the odometer fraud he was quick to raise his voice at me over the phone. And say that the truck had a broken cluster which needed to be repaired and hence why the odometer had discrepancies with the actual reading. He also went on to say that they go by “TMU” True Milage Usage which is what is listed on the title. And that they don’t go by the actual odometer reading on the truck.The truck only had ONE brand new tire. Which had 80% tread and the others almost bald.Despite the bad reviews that my husband and I read, we took the chance and gave them the benefit of the doubt, simply because we thought Kenny had worked us an awesome deal and we were the proud owners of our dream truck.Before being the next victim of a broke down vehicle and odometer fraud, request for a carfax, really inspect these vehicles and beware!!!! Purchase from these crooks at your own risk!!! I don’t know when or if we will even get our truck back, let alone our down payment.I wouldn’t even give one star if it were up to me.

🤷🏻‍♂️I submitted an application with them and they never reached out to me regarding the status. I received a message from Experian notifying me that they did run my credit however the dealership themselves literally didnt call me back....I just dont understand....I do see that certain individuals have had good experiences...I think perhaps its the kind of dealership that only serves certain individuals.

I have submitted multiple credit apps and shown intrest in multiple vehicles, they have ran my credit and left hard inquiries and have never bothered to contact me in anyway. Have also visited the dealership in person, spent over 20 minutes looking at their stock of trucks and not once was ever approached and asked if I need help or if I was interested in any of their vehicles. Not sure how they sell anything.

Kenny with Advantage Auto was absolutely awesome!!! Purchasing a vehicle via financing is something my husband and I had zero experience with. We contacted many, many other dealers that either never called back, or made me feel like I was bothering them for following up. I felt like since our credit was not great, they didn’t want to deal with us. Calling Advantage was the best thing we did. I disclosed our situation and Kenny did not beat around the bush, he let me know what to expect as far as financing with a lower credit score. We went to meet with him last Saturday and he worked with our lender back and forth to get us the best terms he could that worked for everyone. He also went as far as giving us options going forward to get even better terms. We drove away with a truck that we love and couldn’t be happier. We look forward to working with Kenny for all our truck purchasing needs and will highly recommend Advantage Auto. The staff is friendly and prices are great!

They’re crooks that will be dealt with when you don’t honor your own 500 miles or 15 days whichever comes first. Well I did under 150 miles and drove it less then two full days before it started to make a sound that we all don’t want to hear knock you’d there? Not advantage automotive that’s for sure. My attorney and I will be a handling this according and I would advise all to make sure you do your homework.

I have bought a couple of work trucks in the past few years from these guys and they were great . The staff friendly and easy to work with.

I bought a truck from here 10/2017 and I really like the truck but buyers from this dealer need to be informed. First, when financing, I was told even though my credit score was great, I had no prior history of an auto loan so I was going got get stuck with a very high interest rate. I was told that after 6 months of on-time payments I could refinance to a more acceptable rate and the finance guy assured me that he personally spoke to the bank and was told that I could do that. Well.... that was not true and Im still stuck with the high interest loan. Next, the truck was filthy when i went to pick it up so I drove straight off the lot to the car wash but on the way I stopped to get gas. While filling up I checked the oil and turns out I needed 10 QUARTS OF OIL!! They didnt even bother to check the oil and top it off before selling it to me!!! Then on the way home to Flagstaff the front right tire came apart and I had to get a tow. At the tire shop it was pointed out to me that all 3 tires were of different tread depth and age so it looked like 4 used tries had been put on it. The tire shop also pointed out that the front right HUB was shot and that someone greased the hell out of it to prevent it from making noise. Now the fun stuff..... I noticed a slight difference in the color of the bed of the truck so I looked underneath and found the bed used to be white, the truck is grey, so the bed was off of another truck and painted = RED FLAG. Windows stopped working so I took off the drivers door panel and found it was full of dirt and dust and almost looked like the truck had been in a flood. Turns out the oil cooler was clogged and needed replaced = $2700, the A/C compressor was seized = $950, Front HUBS =$950, Front axle seals = $450... and the list goes on.Finally, and i dont know why i didnt do it first - I ran a carfax report and what I found was astoundingly bad....Fortunately the bank is sympathetic and is working with me on a resolution. I highly recommend any one considering a purchase from this dealer do that first.

So, Kenny let me know what would be best to start out with to get to where I want to be. Bought a cute VW Passatt with lower miles and I love it. Credit was only ran 1 time and I was approved thanks to Kenny being knowledgeable with his banks.

Stay away from this dealership. They buy junk from auction for profit. Bought a lemon from them that would loose power when towing light loads; took it to thier mechanic who said he fixed the problem, but didnt; six months later I am slapped with a 9k diesel repair bill. Theyre integrity is low and they do not care about their customers after the sale. Save yourself some heartache, and take your hard earned money some where else.

Went in needing a truck asap and with in an hour i was driving off in my f250. They were very helpful. Took it to the emissions place and got the temp tag put on. Now just waiting for my plates in the mail. I did have an issue with my truck but it had nothing to do with the dealership and they were still going to help with it. I went to buy a vehicle from these crooks and was told my paystubs were fraud when they wernt I had put 1000 down and took my truck home the next week they said I had to come back resign a loan and have a GPS installed ok no problem I went there they took the truck to do the gps and after 2 hours they come up and say yah so there not bringing the truck back and basically Im on foot I live in payson so its a 80 mile drive for me the gentle ma. Was nice enough to give .e a ride to the closest car rental place that was closed they kept my down payment and took my truck DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY DEALERSHIP

If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. If you want to buy a vehicle, dont wast your time here. We called ahead with no answer so decided to stop by. Got there at 4pm and no one was there, open sign on with all doors locked. Called multiple times with no response. The hours on the door say Monday through Saturday open till 5pm. I guess this Saturday was an exception. Not to mention we had been calling and calling since about 11 or 12am.Also did not even see the truck I was looking at online on the lot.Complete waste of time.

Not worth the time or gas. Some guy out side front door smoking finely showed me the car and walked away still smoking. I walked around it 3 times and asked if it has a key? He looked at me and walked away still smoking. Finley came back holding out a remote on a yellow tag. Then walked away still smoking. I opened the door and checked out the interior, was very clean. I asked 2 questions and got I dont know 2 times. Tried to start. Click. Battery is DEAD. I handed remote to the IDK guy and he just looked at me. I asked if he was going to jump or Not? He said i guess I can. I left as fast as possible.

Was interested in buying a dodge from them so I called and asked for a Carfax to be emailed to me. They don’t provide Carfax so I got the vin and payed $40 for the Carfax to find out the truck I was interested in had the odometer rolled back approximately 100,000 miles while they advertise to the public “108,000 original miles”.

So after reading the reviews on here I was super skeptical about buying from here but I gave it a chance and I’m super glad that I did it was quick fast and to the point no running around no nothing I would refer this place to people who have credit issues these guys will help

**CAUTION**tldr; Great sales, TERRIBLE after sales service. Has a rating of F on the BBB.This dealership is very good at financing people but are incorrigible at handling warranty issues. They are bound by law to provide a 500 mile/15 day warranty for any components that will prevent the safe operation of the vehicle for which it was intended at highway speeds.Fact: Purchased 2003 Ford F350 on 9/4/13 (Wednesday)Fact: Returned vehicle for burning oil smell on 9/5/13 (Thursday) and was told to make an appointment AFTER arriving at the dealer for the following week.Fact: In spite of 1/4 tank reading on fuel gauge the truck ran out of fuel on 9/14/13 (Saturday) I refueled and took it to them for repair.Fact: on 9/10/13 (Tuesday) took possession of the vehicle after they called and said it was fixed. Was told NOT to drive below 1/4 tank (meaning they did NOT fix it) and that they fixed the oil smell. By the time I got home the smell was still there.Fact: on 9/11/13 (Wednesday) I fueled up the truck and it would not start at the pump. Sounded like a dead battery so I jumped it without success. Upon further investigation I discovered arcing and sparking from the start motor when the starter was engaged due to loose cables. Called to get permission to tighten them and got it. Called road side assistance and they diagnosed it as a starter failure.Fact: on 9/11/13 (Wednesday) I called to get this issue repaired under the warranty (still had over 50 miles left on the original 500) and was told that they would NOT pay to tow the vehicle, would NOT send a mechanic, and would NOT allow a local mechanic to fix it. My only recourse is to fix it myself voiding the warranty or pay for towing.Bottom line: 3 issues inside one week, not one of which will they fix properly. Be warned: you might find a great deal on a vehicle but dont expect them to help you after you sign the documents.

Had a friend buy a truck here. Wish he would have taken me because this place took advantage of a fully disabled veteran, and 30 days later when the engine blew, they refused to fix it. Now I normally wouldnt make a big deal since it is over the warranty except we took it in for an engine light 3 days after buying it and they blew us off. If this place does not fix it quickly, they are going to lose a ton of business when a couple hundred upset veterans stand out front of their business blocking sales. Ive been getting the run around every time I talk to them. Now my credit is screwed. I still havent received the plates for the new truck and the temp. Plate expired 2/13/17. The DMV says the dealer has the plates.This place has a lot of bad reviews, and they have 6 complaints with the Better business bureau, sure wish I had check before going to this place.

If i could rate this -1000 stars this place is a freakin joke they are all a bunch of scam artists my boyfriend bought a truck from them almost a year ago and not even two months after he bought it, it broke down and is still broken down today. We called and told them what happened and they told us that we only had a 15 day warranty on the 2004 ford f250 diesel but said they would come pick it up and fix it for free. Well they sent the dumbest two guys to pick it up at 11pm on a Sunday night and they brought a freakin racecar trailer to trailer a diesel truck to Phoenix from Payson.. So they call us back like four days later and tell us that the truck is ready and we can come pick it up so we get a ride to Phx to go get this truck we get there and they say oh theres nothing wrong with it all we did was put c foam in it and it runs fine. Originally we took it to a mechanic up here in Payson that told us it needed a new ERG cooler and new ERG value and three new injectors and they said none of those things were wrong with it. Well on the way back to Payson we get almost all the way back and we get a blow out in the middle of August. We pull over and get out and look at the damage we have minor front ebd damage now so we get back in the truck to turn the AC on and the thing wont start so we pop the hood and come to find out that those jack offs only had one freakin battery in it one battery in a diesel truck are you joking like how stupid are you to not know that a diesel truck needs two batterys..Well now almost a year and almost $2,000 dollars later and paying 350 a month in truck paymemts for a truck we cant even drive..its had so many different things done to it i cant even remember everything..STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY and give you a f#*ked up truck in return..

I bought a truck here. The sales person promised to have the a/c working before I picked it up. He kept my trade in and when i recieved my truck THREE weeks later, they had broken the dashboard into hundreds of pieces and glued a dashboard cover to hide large holes. FOUR months later, I was pulled over because they had not yet registered my truck. I spoke to an atterney...these guys have no fidiciary duty, in other words they destroyed my vehicle and got away with it! Buyer beware!

We were told to drop off truck theyre mechanic would look at it and fix it. Since we were still under 500 mile warranty. Two days later i called to check to see when we could pick it up, was told it was done and we could pick it up, get there and nothing had been done same problems nothing was fixed. Was told some B.S. story. And dont call them after you have drove off the lot they wont remember you or the car. Called to ask why they lied to me about the truck being in a accident. The guy who answered the phone owner/manager doesnt matter was extremely rude was cussing at me, and became very defensive. They are liars. They dont do car faxs, please if your going to buy from these slim balls get a car fax before driving off the lot they will lie straight to your face.

Dont buy from them bad dealer ship this guy is scam check truck out junk

Horrible.. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!! STAY AWAY!! They sold me a truck a few months went by they told me I needed to come in so they can take pictures of my truck and they TOOK my truck and I had to fight them for 3 days going there and waiting all day to get my vehicle back after paying more money and higher payments or else they wouldnt give the truck back. TOOk MONTHS BEFORE PAYING MY TRADE OFF RUINED MY CREDIT

They didnt want to show us the truck we wanted and said all the trucks have dead batterys so we cant start them the guys a a hole to thinks hes a bad ass go next door instead

Stay clear they will lie to you to sell a truck I was told isurance would be put into 4th e truck note and I got pulled over to find out the my vehicle registration is suspended because I dont have insurance

To be honest guys they treat me right I couldnt get approved anywhere else to buy a truck but they got me into a truck and also help me stablish my credit

Just look at the BBB rating. F - Enough said. Stay away

Bought a work truck through these swindlers 2 months ago. To date I have not received my title, plate and registration. After 8 weeks of the run around and nothing being accomplished due to the incompetence of this dealership on top of verbal threats to myself, I have decided to make a formal complaint to the State Attorney General Office on top on contacting my attorney to file further actions. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP.

Place is horrible they still have not paid off my trade.now my credit is worse than before they just give you the run around they are the worst dealer in the state dont buy anything from them .
