Great shop. Bill was very knowledgeable and helped us out, making sure we were getting the proper weighted darts. Even advised us to get some good cheap darts for when others want to join but dont have their own set. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I will return to this shop in the future.

Definitely a great dart store! Prices are fair and the gentlemen that work there are very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We have been there 3 or 4 times now and they are always so personable and have a great sense of humor. When you go to purchase a set of darts they allow you to try out (they have a designated dart board hanging up just for this purpose) various sets of your choosing until you find the set that is right for you. I would give 10 stars if it was an option

My wife and I are very inexperienced and new to the soft tip dart scene. After throwing a set of darts I had purchased online, my wife decided she wanted a set of her own. We did a Google search and this place came up. When we went in we were severely overwhelmed by the choices. They have a lot, I will give them that. After looking around for several minutes and my wife putting hands on several sets we were asked if we could be helped. I explained the situation and at first the guy that helped us was vey friendly and helpful, even helping to try coach my wife a little. After a few throws the guy said, Wait one second I am going to go get something that will help us. He walked away and went around the counter and immediately started helping 3 other guys that were obviously spending or going to spend a good chunk of change. I said to my wife, I thought he was going to come right back? Me too. We went about our business and picked out a set of darts, flights, etc. Their selection is good, prices seem fair, customer service lacks a little. We did spend over $100 there but in the end I felt like we didnt matter because we werent spending enough right at that moment.

Bill took the time to make sure the darts where a good fit for the way I hold the dart and gave me tips on how to position my body when throwing. He is very knowledgeable and has good customer service. I cant wait to come back for more things that I need in the future.

My wife and I just recently moved to Phoenix and had no clue about a good billiards shop to replace our old cues. Their setup is surprising because they have another building for the intermediate players to try the cues. The owner was VERY knowledgeable about his cues. WHAT really sold me was the fact that they had my very first cue from 10 years ago, I almost fainted when I saw it!!!! Will definitely go back.

Huge selection of anything billiards and dart related.i bought my cue here about a year ago and the service was awesome. I came today to get my cue re-tipped and once again great service and very knowledgeable staff. Lance went out of his way to show us different tips and was very honest and considerate of different products. Also gave personal feedback, which was great. Pretty crazy to find myself writing this review for this place. Ive been going to Shoot the Bull since 2006 and have always gotten what I needed as far as what they provide. My visits are always mixed. Sometimes I get somebody who seems to go above and beyond to get me what I need and other times its a basic transaction where Ive rummaged through their merchandise and bring it to the counter with no assistance. This recent visit I walked in and tripped over a shop vac that they had near the entrance. Okay, no biggie. I get that things like that happen. I walk around the case that they have open as its the soft tip case and thats the whole purpose of my visit. I grab a dart and go toss it at the board hanging on the wall. This has been customary for every previous set of darts that Ive purchased. At this point, Im asked Can I help you?! In an assertive voice. The tone was off though, as if the person (who I think owns this place) was bothered by me being there. Just to clarify, I respond Do you have a problem with me being here? In which I got Well are you going to buy something? I go on to explain that Ive purchased several sets of darts here along with multiple boards. While Im tossing different darts Im being stared at like Im going to steal somethings so I end up telling my friend that we should just head out. If I show up to your business in the middle of the day, Im going to be dirty since I work on vehicles for a living. If I need to meet some weird criteria for me to be a patron of your business then I guess this isnt the place for me to continue to do business with. I like supporting local business as much as possible, but with experiences like this, I think Ill just start buying my dart and billiard supplies on Amazon since I can get them for a fraction of the cost of getting them from this retail store. Oh well, live and learn and move on. Hopefully nobody else has to undergo this type of service when trying to give a business their hard earned money in exchange for good or services.

Super nice people! This place is STOCKED with everything you need for both billiards and darts. I have been here a couple times now and dealt with numerous different people and everyone that works there has had the same take care of the customer attitude. They welcome you to try any of their darts on one of the many dartboards there which is a huge reason to buy local and not online!

I was trying to work out what soft tip darts i should upgrade to since i was a little over my black widows. After about 30mins the owner rang through on the phone and told the sales assistant to tell me to stop throwing at the boards. He watches you on camera while at home... what a creep! They made me feel like a unvalued customer. I had spent hundreds of dollars there and brought in so many people who did the same. So I just walked out...

I purchased my step thru Interceptor from Phoenix Pedego. Lance and Jeff are very professional, knowledgeable, and bend over backwards on customer service! They made the entire buying experience very nice from the time I walked in the door to look, to the free delivery to my house 35 miles away. We will definitely be going back for a second bike!Now the bike - I cant rave enough! Well I like this place. Had no clue it was there they said its been there for 35 years. They have every kind of soft-tip Dart you can imagine and they have steel tip darts and you could also get the steel tips that you can put on to the soft-tip darts. they even give you lessons right there. And it seems like the prices were from $17.95 and up on the dart sets.

I always have a great time here, I was greeted as I walked in the door . The guys there really know their products . I never feel rushed or like Im being up sold . They let me shop at my speed and my favorite thing getting to try out whatever darts I want so I always know Im getting the exact fit for me

I did a Google search for Cue stick repair and this place was the closest. I traveled outta my way just to receive a lack in customer service. The two individuals at the counter had no knowledge of pricing and lacked detail. I was quoted a 30 minute wait time and after 45 minutes they still had not touch my stick. And they did not seem to care. So I took my cue and I doubt I will return.
