Here for Dyno, blow by check, power chk. Chk in at 0600hrs. Got me breakfast, coffee. Just came in.they did basic checks before Dyno. Found big crack in the cac, that was probably the reason for the high pitch whistle under a load.my trusted mechanic did a cac pressure test,15/20 LDS and held for 5 min. Well. Guess that wasnt enough pressure to act as if under a load. No Dyno. Shop said no sense till we or me fix cac, so.i will get $$estimate, time,. Probably get it done. All in all good folks seem fair.friendly, by the book. Think I will have them do the job. Some times cheap aint the best way. They found one problem.

I still kind of like coming to this place. My recent work was, just shoddy. My A/C was repaired with a new condenser added and all the lines checked. My A/C worked for one day a hose started leaking green fluid. So, theres that.I got a new CAC added and Im missing my metal grill vent.I wash my windshield and find a half inch bolt by my cabin filter. No idea. That kind of road debris would have cracked my windshield so Im pretty sure it was left and forgotten.Lastly, I had my lower radiator hose replaced here and its now leaking about a gallon a day. Said I needed a pipe with a bracket. Bought one, you installed it but its not attached to the fan shroud. Just, kind of hanging there with some new holes drilled. The thought that counts, I guess. So, thanks? $3500 and five days for this. On top of the small fortune Ive spent here, already. Im just kind of disappointed I have to go to another shop to fix your mistakes.

I liked the people here. But recently, they misdiagnosed (or tool an incorrect wild guess maybe) the root cause of a DEF system problem. Said I had a DEF tank full of diesel & it was going to be a big expensive to diagnose and repair/replace all the lines and the 1 box1. The DEF was not full of diesel, nor did it have any signs of any diesel ever being in it.2. Took truck somewhere else, filter cleaned back runningI don’t know why they said that my DEF full of diesel, but I would not trust this diagnosis if they tell you the same thing. Take it elsewhere for a second opinion. Your very likely to be back in service quicker and cheaper a lot less stress.****ive done an unscheduled oil and fuel filter change here no problemo*****

Michael, fairly new but what an amazing job. I had a crew of two with a heavy duty tow truck to do a simple jump and figure out why the trailer air bags werent airing up. They left not having the tools to do the job. Michael came to the rescue. Breath of fresh air with his persona and polite attitude will get him everywhere. Still working in the dark with a positive attitude:)

Williams has been out go to Mechanic for a large fleet of specialized trucks and equipment. They are very busy however always find the time to get the repairs done in the allotted timeframe (unless something else is found or a part is on back-order, which happens in this industry).Compared to all the mobile and fixed heavy truck repair facilities in the valley, W. Dropped my truck off at 7 am for a DOT inspection. Drove back by at 730 it was in the shop. Called them at 230 pm and they said it needs a hood strap before it will pass. Which is fine. Why did you wait till I called to get approval? Why not call me earlier. Oh. And rt he strap is going to cost $500.00. On another note Took another truck in for stop engine light and air leak. $862 later. Said all fixed. Went to pick it up got in truck NO AIR PRESSURE. Built pressure and air leak still present. Said tech probably couldnt hear leak. What did you charge me for? Also said pressure washed motor to determine if coolant leak was fixed. Motor was filthy. Was told cant get all the grease. Didnt even look like it was rinsed

Worst experience that I have had at a shop. I felt like no one was communicating on what was being done to my truck. I Dropped it off Friday late morning, I was told that I would hear back from someone within a couple hours on a diagnosis. Never heard, Called the next morning found out that no one had looked at my truck yet. I told them to focus on getting my heater fixed and to check blow by as a secondary concern, and they said they would get right on it. I received a call and a voicemail saying they found the problem with the heater, when I called Monday morning they asked if they could drop the pan to check for scoring on the lines which they thought might have been the cause for the excessive blow by. I asked if they have figured out the heater, the individual told me the did and that the parts for it had been delivered to the mechanic and it would be fixed later on Monday. So I authorized them to drop the pan and spend time looking at the Blow by issue. The next morning on Tuesday I called to get an update on my truck, the individual told me that they still didnt know what was wrong with the heater and no parts were ordered or delivered. and that they still didnt know why I was getting the excessive blow by. Poor communication, so I told them they had to fix the heater that day. They ordered the part and they said I was first in line and the #1 truck, parts came in at 230, and when I called at 515 they still hadnt even begun to replace the heater parts. Finally I get a call at 10pm that night saying the replaced the part but it still wasnt working. I picked my truck the next day because it was there from Friday to Wednesday morning and they still didnt know anything that was wrong with the truck and it cost me $1600. No nothing is fixed and after they dropped my pan and messed with everything I am burning oil in my truck like crazy. I burned through 4 quarts in 4 days. I will never come back to this place again. Very incompetent!!Update: The Manager of the store called me personally and apologized for the experience that I had. He was very professional and courteous. He did was was necessary to resolve the problem and I am happy with the resolution. I will be giving W.W.Williams another chance. I was impressed with the way this was handled.

Wow, this place was terrible. They quoted a tentative low amount and then sent an official quote that was almost twice as much. Then, they were not able to repair my truck - they blamed it on the OEM settings, even though the truck is 10 years old and never had this problem before. I asked to speak to the Service Adviser and finally left after he did not show for more than 10 minutes.

wi
Review №52

This is by far 1 of the worst experiences ive ever had to deal with. To start no 1 at this place is on the same page. Everyone you speak to says something different as far as price and the work theyve done if something breaks on your equipment they seem to have taken classes to know how to shift blame. I was quoted at not more than 7k for the work ended up with a bill for 12k no more work than we spoke of. Ended up with a parts list for hoses and clamps sometimes 2 and 3 times .bill was reduced to 8800. 2nd day out brung truck back had a leak that wasnt there and push out coolant again which was the original reason being there of course theyve found nothing so you end up with a (200) bill 2nd time there in 3days . Third time there my truck is sputtering so I believe its something theyve done, I didnt have this problem when I dropped it off now 1of my injectors and harness are supposedly bad (1500) more but when dynoed no one found this until after there repairs I was told they pulled head cut liners and counterbores but we never touched the injectors 🤔 so how was these parts properly inspected what the shop manager didnt know is I was taken in the back and saw all my parts laid out on a table next to my truck .all I can say is beware, theyre use to dealing with municipalities and governments and bigger companies who really dont care about there Bills. I have no problem with paying my Bills but these guys are not only expensive but they bulk up hours and tell you they do things they didnt do but it doesnt come out unless you have a problem best thing to do is keep a paper trail. Because again what youre told and read and pay for is different. A couple of the guys are very pleasant if thatll make you feel better for whats going to possibly happen . Also if you believe what they wrote under this it isnt true I havent heard from anyone. Good luck 🍀 youre gonna need it . My last entry, youll didnt do an Inframe most of what you said you were gonna do wasnt done but I understand you need to keep up face value again when I ask service clerks did you do xyz the answer is yes but when theres a problem and you come back on no we didnt touch that .... I never blame you for anything to do with my 1st I Inframe yhat situation Ill deal with in Maryland if you can take constructive criticism or a customers opinion youll need to communicate better and more.... update 6/4/18 at another shop with 3 injector rings bad if head was properly inspected would not have been I also had to put all new ac system in because of the way these guys bent the hoses up, they all say they didnt but I went in the bad to retrieve paperwork and it was bent up. This place has cost me thousands since leaving with my truck. Not to mention 1 bolt on my jake brakes not even hand tightened so no torque mustve been done on it.

Stay away from this place. They kept my bus there for over two weeks. They did the general service adequately, but dragged their feet when it came to specific repairs. While they were waiting on parts, they could have fixed other things. In the end, one of my air gages wasnt working (it worked when I dropped it off). The steering was crooked by about 10 degrees, and when I went to pick it up every access hatch was left open. Nobody came out to show me the work they had done. They just wanted me gone. Jim Garrity kept bulls**ting me through the whole process. There is no excuse for treating a customer this way it cost me a lot of money staying in a hotel waiting for them to do the job. They say they have bumper to bumper service and lots of parts. Well, they couldnt handle my coach air conditioning, and thats between both bumpers, so I think they should be more careful when making claims. I noticed that they have contracts with school busses and fire engines. I kind of figure my bus was put on the back burner while they tended to their bigger clients. The parts they were waiting for? Standard ac lines for the dash ac, which Jim claimed were custom ordered. Yeah, right! Very disappointing experience indeed. Very pricey too.

I have a truck in Williams. The electrical has been taken care of, but somehow from the time it went into the shop, to now, May 14, a airbag on the steer axle is leaking bad. The truck did not have one when it went in, but has one now.. NOBODY at WW Williams wants to accept the blame of this happening when they were operating my truck. This is the first time I ever had a bad experience with this facility.
