They are the absolute best here! If you need an honest mechanic, this is the place. Jesse and Jose are very kind and took care of me each visit. They get me in and out within a reasonable time and I never feel as if they’re trying to make money off me like other places tend to do. Also, even when there were issues on their part, they owned up to it and resolved it ASAP.

After being told by two dealerships that I would need to leave my car for 3 days to be fixed with no loaner car I finally called Kelly Clark. Everyone gives this wackass business a good review we paid $1400 to “fix” our AC and they ended up effin it up more now our engine light is on and they said we had a “2 year guarantee” but they Lied now they want too charge us more!

Jose Partida is the nicest automotive technician ever! I have an old Toyota and I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to cars. I took my car there because it wouldnt start and I had to get a jump. Jose was very friendly from the beginning, asked a lot of questions, and within minutes was able to diagnose my car. I had been panicking mentally because I though it would be an expensive fix like the alternator. Turned out the battery connectors were loose (thanks to the guy who originally installed the battery). It was a cheap fix but Jose didnt charge me a dime! He said it was a Christmas present. I could have cried. One thing for sure is that theyll continue to have business til the end time!
They said I had an oil leak that needed repaired. I took it somewhere else because they tried to charge me over $500 to get my starter replaced, and the other shop told me I DID NOT have an oil leak.So not only are their prices way higher than everywhere else, but they blatantly lied to me.Very unethical practice.

I needed to get a tire repaired and get an oil and filter change. The representative did call me and recommend the filter change and also a tire rotation. I was never disclosed a price at ANY point and never was I given an estimate. The representative left me a voicemail saying that my car was ready, again no fees were disclosed.See call log attached.He called again and I was able to answer and that’s when he gave me the grand total of $200. I have never been disclosed fees and asked for a breakdown of everything. This is when he told me of the prices. One of the things I am disputing is the air filter which is not included in the standard oil and filter change that I’m accustomed to be included. That was an additional $55. The tire rotation was an additional $19.99It was a cabin air filter which I have no idea what that is. We discussed that issue further and I was told that there are three filters to a car again, I don’t know this. Later on in the discussion we asked to see the old filter or at least to reproduce it and put it back in the car and that’s when I was told that I would be charged $14 in labor to switch it out. Mysteriously enough, that filter was damaged and could not be put back in the car. I told the representative that given the economic times I was unable to pay the $200.The representative lowered the price to $185 then to $169 to $140. When my boyfriend offered to pay for the services the price went up to $157.My point is I don’t have any problems with fees if they were disclosed. I would like to have the option to choose what services I want and I didn’t have this option because none of the fees were disclosed. I don’t like wasting anyone’s time and if I can’t afford some thing, I won’t even entertain the thought. I don’t go to a grocery store filling my cart full of groceries and then telling the clerk I don’t have enough money. I should’ve been disclosed the fees.When I told the clerk that I’m used to the tire rotation being included etc. his response was “no one works for free.” He was not understanding the basic principle that I don’t expect him to work for free but I do want to know what the charges are; it’s a consumer’s right. I told him that I’m used to going to places where they don’t charge for that like Costco or Sam’s Club and it’s complimentary there. He honestly replied “you can’t compare prices. You can’t compare an apple to a grape.” I replied I’d like to know that I’m paying for a grape and I also told him yes I can compare prices because this is a capitalist society and a business is supposed to disclose the fees to the consumer.They did lower the fees but it should not have reached the point to where I have to debate my consumer right to have fees disclosed. I shouldn’t have to argue that I don’t know what types of filters are in a car. How am I supposed to know that. Then the representative said “I’m going to go through my recorded calls.” I said please do go through them because I’d like to hear them.I have the 1 voicemail and the call logs. There was an 11 minute conversation where the representative called me to see if I received the voicemail that my car is ready. I told him I received the voicemail but I want to know the total. The conversation last 11 minutes because I asked for the fee breakdown. If fees where disclosed prior, why would my conversation with them take 11 minutes?!!!I told them I would call the attorney general etc and they applied coupons etc but I was told they were going to keep my car if I couldn’t pay and talk to the manager in the morning; which by the way is illegal.They reduced the fees from $200 then told me $140 but had my nicely dressed boyfriend pay $157. I’d love to hear their recordings. Also I was told the oil filter change is $66.04 when the coupon online says $58.95.These people are dishonest.Stay away from this place!!
Its not a great situation when youre visiting family in Phoenix and your truck starts making strange noises and you realize you need to get repairs done. And its especially not-awesome when the exhaust manifold repairs you need cost a couple grand and you thought it would be something covered by the extended warranty you bought on the used truck that you bought six months ago, but it turns out it isnt because of some shady language hidden in the warranty paperwork. But I digress - heres what makes you feel a little bit better: good customer service and fantastic work done on the vehicle. And thats what I got from Jesse and the folks at Kelly Clark Automotive - where I ended up taking my truck after doing some research online and asking family and friends in the area. From the moment I first spoke to Jesse on the phone about coming in, to the phone call updates about my truck, to the moment they handed me back my keys, the service was first rate. Not to mention, the repairs were excellent and my truck now sounds like it just came off the assembly line. Next time I need any repairs done Im definitely comfortable taking my truck back to them.
I needed an alignment and had to wait for it. They explained that it would probably needs an adjuster set that the factory doesnt install on the vehicle. When they began they showed me the adjustments that were required meant I needed the adjusters. They got them quickly, Installed and aligned my truck quickly. Great job.

SUCH a great experience. I recently went to another auto repair shop and was very unhappy with my experience, so to find a place I love is such a relief! Every employee I spoke with (in-person and on the phone) was pleasant, informative, and spoke clearly. I easily made an appointment for a week later.When I went in to the office, paperwork was easy and coupons from the website were accepted immediately. Before I even got in my friends car to leave (repair work required a few hours), my car had already been brought around back. I received a call within an hour with their update and information. They did not complete any work without obtaining permission first. They estimated about four hours of work, and were finished in only two. I received a call as soon as work was completed.I had some trouble getting back in time to pick up my car before the office closed, and the employee worked with me so I could still get my car back same day. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. Simply professional, efficient, honest, and amazing.
I was really impressed with the customer service I received at Kelly Clark Automotive. Jose was really sweet and knowledgeable the entire time. He addressed me by name every time he spoke to me, and introduced me to the driver Elijah by name as well. Elijah was really sweet driver too. The guy who originally answered the phone for me was really respectful and worked hard to get me the quotes I needed. I wish I could remember his name ! The prices were competitive, service great, and the men knowledgeable. I’ll be back for regular maintenance for sure. The shuttle service is nice too
Thanks to Jesse and Kelly Clark. My daughters car had something hanging off the bottom that she couldnt fix and she was an hour away from home, but luckily right around the corner from Kelly Clark. I called and asked Jesse if she could bring it in so they could see what was going on. He got her car right in, removed a panel that was dragging so she could drive home, called me and let us know what to get replaced and sent her on her way - no charge. Very kind and friendly! Top notch service and trust! I only recently came here after hearing many great reviews from others. Previously I had generally done work myself or gone to the dealership. I was immediately impressed by their no pressure approach to service. Recommendations were made as to service my car but never pushed on me as a must do item. They were very straight-forward about the condition of my car and it was refreshing for once to have somebody tell you that its possible you may need to replace it in the future so you have to replace it NOW.The service manager called me multiple times through the day to give me updates on anything they found.Thanks Kelly Clark Automotive Specialists, its good to see honesty still exists today.

Stopped in to get my brakes done and it turned out that i needed some suspension work as well. This was an unexpected expense. Luckily, they had a new finance company and i was able to get a simple interest loan to get everything fixed. Jesse and the guys were super nice, and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back. Highly recommended.

You can lay your fears about being taken advantage of to rest when you go to Kelly Clark Automotive. I moved to this part of town 4 years ago and needed a mechanic for the 3 cars in my family and they have never told us we needed work done that wasnt apparent. All of our oil changes are completed here, and once in a while the suggestion is made to replace an air filter or tires, etc., but with no pressure to have them do the work and no ill feelings when I got tires elsewhere. They will give you a ride from and back to their location if you need it. Very friendly service!

The guy was really knowledgeable and explained the nuances of the work they did on my car.The time frame was reasonable and there was not a significant wait.The only downside to this place is it is right next to a Dutch Bros, and the coffee customers block the entrance to the mechanic parking lot.

Ive been a customer of theirs for a long time, for the longest time they offered great service and great prices. But for the last 2 years their service has declined, a lot, and the prices have increased a whole lot. Very disappointing. My last visit was a nightmare, they left parts strewn inside the car, I had asked them to change fluids and change the oil and they did not even though it was necessary. Wont return to their shop ever again!

I should have priced my repairs out before taking it to Kelly Clark. But in the past their prices have been reasonable. The last few times my wife and I have taken our vehicles to them the costs were higher than if we had gone to the dealer. I doubt we will return in the future.

I have been going to Kelly Clark for over 5 years and have only had outstanding and honest service. Two examples of their service: my son pushed a piece in the door of my car which resulted in me not being able to close my door because the latch was stuck closed (it had been sticking for a while). While trying to fix it, I accidentally did the same thing to my other door (I was looking at which way the piece was supposed to go!) I had to bungee cord my doors shut and drove to Kelly Clark, where two mechanics dropped everything to fix my doors for me. Within a few minutes, my doors were good as new and I was able to drive home - and no charge!I also recently brought my Honda to the dealer for the required Air Bag Recall/Replacement. Hours later, the Honda dealership told me that I had almost $2,000 of serious repairs that must be done on my car. I brought it directly to Kelly Clark, where I was shown that none of the repairs were immediate, and they quoted the total repairs at a fraction of the price IF I wanted them done (I love how no-pressure they are). They have all my car records on hand, and when my car battery needed to be replaced earlier than planned, they applied a warranty refund to my new battery - something I wouldnt have even known about.
Reasonable pricing fast service and courtesy in explaining parts and damage. A transmission is normally an eye soar in cost to see but they fixed my mothers car and was able to drive it hope.Very reliable full service stop.
They are VERY overpriced. They quoted me 29.99 for an oil change and later added $18 worth of fees. Make sure you get a quote for the final price. After the final quote for all of my repairs, I was able to find another very reputable shop for $600 less. When I told Kelly Clark they were adamant that I tell them who I was going to and why. I have had repairs done there in the past, but will not be returning!

Be wary and careful. I was quoted 179 for replacement of my Schrader High side valve.Fine, they were close to where I work so I took a chance. Forty-five minutes after I dropped of my truck they called to inform me that I also needed to replace the AC manifold as the Schrader valve would not stay tight and would therefore leak again. This in effect doubled my original quote to 390 dollars.I went back to the store and helped them to realize that they were using the wrong size replacement part.If I hadnt discovered their mistake do you think they would have been honest and admitted they made a mistake?Ill never know because they have lost my confidence and business.

SCAM! I went here because I knew that either my compressor or a/c belt was messed up. I made an appointment and took my car to them at 8 a.m. (when they open). I clearly exprested to Alex that I did not want to be charged for anything until he gave me a call with a quoted amount. My boyfriend was there and confirmed this conversation. Less that 2 hours later, Alex calls to tell me that it was my compressor and that it would be over $1,700 for labor and parts. I called a place right down the street at 13th Street and Indian school that quoted me 1,300 after labor, parts and tax. So then I called Alex at Kelly Clarks and respectfully declined unless he could match the other quote. Alex couldnt so at 1 pm I went to pick up my car. When I get there I was told that I owed $63.06. I asked what for and was told it was for labor. Alex said he told me over the phone but he did not unless he said it was part of the $1700 which I did not agree to pay. They held my keys on their side of the counter until I paid. I am very displeased with the service and outrageous prices at this place and I will warn all of my friends. Now that Im lookin at the invoice, I see it clearly says testing revealed normal readings at this time and proper system operations occur. This $63 worth of labor and they couldnt even put the correct diagnostics on the invoice.
How many men does it take to change a light bulb? I dont know, but it just cost $77.09 in labor. They do a great job, but they might just lose me as a long-time customer over the cost of a light bulb...

I went in there to get a quote and I so happen to need to use restroom they refused to let me use the restroom I have a medical condition and they make the laws so strict that they make a person a sex offender if he gets caught urinating Outdoors so in saying this refusing to let anyone use the the use of a restroom facility should be against the law I would not use them for any Services because of this it shows a lot about the moral character of the business
