This place is absolutely amazing. Ive been going to them for years and they have always done amazingly high quality work on all my Hondas. In fact they used to be called Independent Import. Justin and the mechanics are very honest and will tell you if work is needed or not. Why, do they do that? They know work will be needed eventually and they want your return business. I recommend these guys over the dealer any day of the week. Do not hesitate to use their services.

I am nobodys cheerleader. I generally write reviews when I have an extreme experience with the business, usually extremely positive, sometimes extremely negative.Ive had lots of different cars, lived in lots of different cities, so Ive experienced service departments ranging from new Range Rover dealerships to the cash mechanic operating out of his backyard.My current daily driver is a Honda element with about 200,000 miles. Im not afraid to spend money to not only keep it alive but when there are squeaks and rattles, I will do new parts before they are absolutely necessary. Keeping it quiet and tight keeps me from buying another car, so I’m ahead. However, I dont like wasting money.With high mileages cars, I have discovered this: Your best mechanic is the mechanic who specializes in your particular brand, especially high-mileage examples.For example: Noise from a power steering pump, normally the (completely reasonable) recommendation would be ... put in new power steering pump . Because D&W knows so much about not just Hondas but high mileage Hondas, they know that for my particular model and my particular year, a $9 washer replacement will solve the problem. I have other examples.I know other shops that operate in good faith, but unless they really get into the weeds on a particular brand, they’re not going to know the little quirks that can solve a problem without just throwing new parts at it. I wholeheartedly recommend D&W auto.

If you have a Honda or Acura then this is the place to go. Honest mechanics with NO unnecessary work being recommended as far as every time I’ve gone in for services and repairs. I recommend D and W even if it’s out of the way for you because it will be worth it. Do yourself a favor and skip the dealer “service advisor” games with high prices and questionable recommendations and instead give D and W a try and you will see why they have such a high review score on google. ;)

The mechanics at D & W auto service are friendly and they do great job fixing my vehicle

After the dealer shop tells me everything that needs to be done on my Honda, I take the list here and they tell me what it really needs and then they do the work at a reasonable price. They go down the list and tell you needs this, not that, etc. Im amazed at all the unnecessary work the dealer recommends.

First rate experience with Justin and Bill. These guys know their way around Hondas. They did exactly what needed to be done, they did it right, they did it fast, and they charged me less than their original estimate. Whats not to love? I will definitely be going back there for future maintenance and repair needs.

Told me to have my car towed to their location.I did. And then after all day they said they could not work on it. Sad. Even spoke with the Owner. If they couldnt tackle it after a lengthy explanation of the problem why have it towed there??? Had to pay 125.00 to tow it elsewhere. No excuse.

Id give this shop 10 stars out of 10 if I was able to. Have been going to this shop since the early 80s (when it was Independent Honda then Independent Import). Unequivocally the most honest and fair priced mechanic youll find for either Honda or Acura cars, as these are the only cars they specialize in. Well worth the drive into central Phoenix.

Im not sure it gets better than this group. Justin and the team are everything you have been looking for in a shop in regards quality, timeliness, and trustworthiness. Absolutely wonderful. This shop makes me proud (and even more thankful) to own a Honda. I put off finding a Honda mechanic for over a year after moving to Phoenix because I was mentally prepared for higher prices and even more predatory practices than I was used to.Not DW. I only wish I contacted them sooner. I called to get an estimate and was quoted the lowest price Ive recieved between 4 different states and 6 years for a routine fluid procedure. When I arrived for the appointment, the gentleman working the front end introduced himself and called me out by name just by looking at my car.They had me out in just 30 minutes, and the service was perfect. Im absolutely returning the next time I need something checked out on my Honda Fit.If you have a Honda, these are your people!!!

I never write reviews but...Cant believe I forgot about this place..years ago I use to take my Accord here..Not much has changed in 30 years except one of the mechanics from all those years ago is now one of the owners😀 Excellent communication, excellent service and you cant beat the prices! Just to give you an idea I own a 2006 Ridgeline with 122,000 on it..Changing the transmission, transfer and rear differential fluid at the dealer would have been over $300..D&W did it for less than $200..I also needed new headlight housing and they suggested buying an aftermarket brand that I bought and they installed..No telling how many hundreds of dollars I saved doing it that way! Anyway, there is zero reasons not to use D&W and enjoy the extra cash in your pocket!

Its like going to your friends house, but your friend is an amazing mechanic and really knows their stuff. They are trustworthy and fair. Affordable and do much better work than anybody Ive ever taken my car to. if you gave me a Lamborghini I would tell you to take it back because the shop only takes Hondas and even if I already didnt love driving a Honda I would drive one just to be able to continue going to this place.

They are an amazing family run Honda/Acura auto shop. They are down to earth and very helpful. Saved me a lot of money from falling for the lies of a dealership.Very ethical, and I cant stress that more, I bring in my own oil and these guys charge bare minimum for changing it out. I wouldnt mind driving back down to Phoenix to get my car worked on again if I had to, with these guys. Thanks again for the great service.

I was recommended to D&W Auto by my late aunts friend. I had to get my aunts car checked out to ensure it was safe to drive back to California. I was told this was a reputable business, and that it was! Very reasonably priced! The employees were professional and nice. Worked mainly with Justin who was great, and so was everyone else! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of a mechanic. I now feel safe to drive the car back to California.

Took my civic in to get a regular oil change and after that Justin told me what was wrong with my car. He had thoroughly inspected and pointed out everything that needed replacing. He was cool and listened to my questions and what i had to say. They have a very reasonable pricing range. I highly recommend taking your Honda here.

I’ve been taking my Acura here for years, and if you have an Acura or Honda, I couldn’t recommend a better place for you to go! From a simple oil change, to brake replacements or power steering repairs, Justin and the crew have always taken good care of me. Always fair prices, they are straight shooters and will never charge you for something you don’t need. Friendly people too!Look no further if you need any work done on your Acura or Honda.

Another great experience with d&w. Caught my serpentine belt which could have broken soon and since my wife mostly drives it she could easily have been stranded. No weak links here, they all know their stuff and I trust them. They even tell you when repairs can wait so you can plan the expense. One of the few places that do that. Well worth the 18 mile drive when I need work done. I highly recommend.

This was my first time in. I had a an oil change, tires rotated, I asked for some new filters. The tech told me I didnt need new filters. No hard sell, just great service. This is my new shop.

My new mechanic. They were able to fix a problem (which I thought was going to be much bigger) by taking their time, and using intuition (and knowledge of Hondas) to fix it.The dealer I used to go to (now replaced by my new mechanic) couldnt fix the problem.It was quick, easy, and in-expensive, and I knew they werent trying to sell me extra stuff. It is clear this is an honest, family business, and it is my pleasure to work with them.

D&W is amazing. Theyll flat-out tell you if DONT need something done, and if something can wait, and how long it can wait. This is so rare. Justin at front desk is a pleasure to work with. Several times, theyve done minor work (10 mins or less) on my older Honda and said No charge! Wifi & coffee in the small waiting room. Excellent work, friendly employees, great experience. I recommend them to all my Honda-driving friends. I have friends who drive in from North Scottsdale just to use D&W.

I started seeing Justin over 20 years ago for auto repair. He has never let me down. This is the only auto shop in the Valley that I really trust. I live clear across town, but will make the trek here whenever I need service. Sometimes this means having to rent a car, but it is well worth the extra expense and travel time. Many unscrupulous shops will tell you that you need work to be done when it is not necessary. This is not the case at D&W. Everyone that works here is a Honda expert. I cannot recommend D&W highly enough!

I have been going to D&W for 10+ years. I have yet to have a bad experience. They are experts at diagnosing your problems due to years of experience dealing with only Honda/Acura. They are fair and honest. My latest trip there was due to my A/C not blowing cold out of both vents. Justin told me what needed to be done to fix the problem. He said it would take an hour and cost $90. It was fixed in 45 minutes and cost $87. This is a good example of most of my visits to D&W.
