Wish I had found this place sooner. The only mechanic shop I trust and feel comfortable at. The lobby has cool decor, the owner is extremely friendly and personable, the workers listen in and really try to find the root cause. They are straight shooters, don’t try to forcefully up sell you and truly just offer what needs replacing. Will keep going here!

Steve and Russ were great! They fit us in the schedule and got us a diagnosis quickly, made the repairs in a timely manner and then went above and beyond to assist with additional issues. Great communication. I’d highly recommend them and definitely plan to use them in the future.

I have done business with them for quite some time and have a close friend who has been going there for of 30 years recommend them. Shop owner is very experienced and professional. Steve and Russ rock when it comes to Customer Service. They do not cut corners when it comes to their customers and their vehicles. They offer a shuttle service if needed. They answer their phones promptly unlike some shops. Their staff and mechanics all have knowledge of automotive and are quite efficient. Friendly and family oriented. I do recommend them and would take my vehicle there. They are ranked as one of the top 5 shops within 15-20 mile radius. And they are open on Saturdays until noon.

This place is awesome, honest, decent prices. We had a radiator replaced by them along with a pulley and belt. We gat a leak in the radiator. They replaced the radiator in one day no charge. I have and will recommend them to anyone

Just wanted to come and thank Russ for his time and wisdom. My girlfriend I recently moved out here from Iowa and we were having problems with our engine light, Russ reassured us that if it continued to come on to bring it back in and that he would get to the bottom of it and he did. The customer service here blows me away. They are staffed with genuine, honest people who will go above and beyond to make sure you are making informed decisions about repairs and are fully taken care of. I’m not at all surprised to see they have nearly a 5 star rating, they deserve that and more.

Worse possible shop I’ve ever been to. I know this is a while after I have been there but they definitely are full of bull. They “attempted “ to do a timing belt change on my suv. First one they said the water pump was bad and the next one they didn’t even put radiator fluid in it. When I called to say something about it they completely blocked my number and ignored any attempt at reconciliation. NEVER trust this place.

I’ve never heard of this one before, they add onto your bill a shopping done by a slide scale depending on how much you spent for your repair. I’ve been in the valley for 40+ years and I’ve never experienced that anywhere. I will not be taking my vehicles back there it’s an unnecessary charge. No you can’t justify it and they certainly tried.

Professional techs wont waste your time or money doing work that doesnt need to be done.

First experience with this garage. They came very highly recommended. Took my first vehicle here for a standard ac check, Russ explained the work what needed to be done and why. I had no strict basis of comparison for cost. Will be taking another vehicle here for what may be a more complex issue, hoping for another positive experience.

I had a blown oil cooler and they repaired it timely and walked my mechanically illiterate self through what the part does. They were very professional and made sure my vehicle was running right.Edit: I had a hose go out and had to return a week later (my car is a poS). I thought it was my radiator but they found the leaky hose and replaced it. They happened to have a replacement reservoir hose and put it in. Barely charged me anything.Good doods. I highly recommend them

They were quick, friendly and had reasonable prices. They gave me an ac recharge and also figured out that my compressor was going bad with a free estimate.

I brought my truck in for an A/C issue. They were friendly and quick. They explained the problem to me and their prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend.

I took my car in due to my anti lock activating when I stopped at higher speeds. I took my vehicle to another company that was closer but they could not figure out what was wrong with my brakes and did not have a tech available. I had previously done business with 19th ave Garage with a prior car that was pleasant so I called for a 2nd opinion before taking it to the dealership which I know would cost the most. After leaving the car for less than an hour, the owner (who also spoke to me over the phone originally) called me to let me know that he saw what was happening but no sensors were going off or anything he could tell. He recommended a go to the dealer but he mentioned my tires were bigger on the front than the back. I never noticed this but recently had my rear tires replaced and all of a sudden it made sense. I had the wrong tires put on which messed with the sensor. I appreciated his honesty and observation because I never noticed this and put it all together. I got the right tires put on immediately and I avoided a hefty bill from the dealer. I sincerely apologize for not recalling the name of the gentlemen I spoke to but thank you for your assistance. Ill be back for any future vehicle repair or maintenance.

I made an appointment and when I arrived I was told they had no idea how long it would be. I said I had to wait. Then my car was taken in and within 5 minutes Ov as told it needed a diagnostic test done at a cost of $150. I already told them I had a diagnostic test result and the codes and that I was questioning why another diagnostic test needed to be done? I felt very uncomfortable at that point and said I think I will take it to Ford to have it fixed...which I did and they did an awesome job on it with no cost for another diagnostic test. I just felt I was being taken advantage of being a woman.

Brought in many cars here over the last couple of years. They are always friendly and explain what happened. Fair prices and do good work. Reccomend them to all thinking about getting a good mechanic who wont take advantage and is always fair.

They werent able to fix our car, when we got it back the battery was dead admit was fine before we took it to them. There is a $40 diagnosis fee to get the car checked out, they waived the fee as they were not able to fix the car. Customer service was okay, they also have a weird set up. There isnt an office just a waiting room.

I have been taking my car to these guys for a decade or more. As a single woman trying to find mechanics I could trust, I have always felt like I was getting fair and honest service from them. What a relief its been to have someone trustworthy to work on my car(s)!When they tell me something needs fixed I know it actually needs fixed and that they will do a great job and without overcharging like other places!

Excellent staff, the guys there are very helpful and honest. They know what they are doing, and even go the extra mile. I took my car there today to get my engine light checked, they found the problem and got it fixed real quick. They even gave me a ride home and picked me up. They even got my passenger window rolled up for me that was stuck down!!!

Was given straightforward service at a fair price.Brought in an old truck with a host of issues, instead of pushing to fix everything, they told me what was wrong and how important each things was. Was quoted different prices depending on what all I wanted fixed. Work was done same day and seems to have been quality work.

Their prices are reasonable not “cheap” (meaning not cheap service and not cheap parts); because they provide QUALITY service. Brought my car in a few years back because i was moving out of town and it started acting up(of course). It had a gas smell in the cabin like there was a leak. Russ and the guys checked it out thoroughly and when i came back to pick my car up i was expecting a big bill and a whole bunch of fluff... shot straight, we couldnt find anything, he are your keys. No bogus charges ...for something not done.Fast forward to a few months ago, not only was i welcomed by a friendly greeting but Russ remembered me, my car and the reason he saw me years back!! Again the same type straight to the point service you hope to get from ANY place! Asked enough questions that they almost figured out the issue before they saw the car. They ran the necessary tests based on our convo and fixed the problem. Very reasonable bill for the work that was done.Say hello to the good guys!

Fast and friendly

Ive been going to Russ for several years now, with many different cars. Even when I lived an hour and a half away, Id come down just to see him. Ive also recommended him to friends and never got a complaint back from anyone Ive referred there. Its a no-hype place, and what you get is good honest service from people who love their job, and not out to rip you off. Good people! I just wish everyone else out there was as good with honest service like Russ is.

Great place to take your car for repairs. Prices are good to.

My battery was put in the car by mistake. The car wouldnt drive more than 2 mph so I took it to this garage. I was told it needed a new throttle body and was quoted about $2000 just to make it driveable and then there may be more issues after that.I towed my car to another mechanic who discovered it was simply a few fuses that were fried from the battery being installed wrong. The new mechanic also mentioned that my car needed oil (3 quarts to be exact) and water neither of which were mentioned by 19th Ave. Garage. The new mechanic only charged me $50 and sent me on my way within an HOUR of receiving my car!Nope ... not going back to 19th Ave. Garage.Great customer service. Very friendly. But how did they miss this? And their oversight almost cost me thousands!!!!

We use these guys all the time for both our vehicles. Awesome service. My husband just had some major issues with his truck .... We dropped it off during off-hours and they started looking at it first thing the next morning. Despite having to order a computer part from Honda, they had him up and running in time for him to get to work that afternoon. So grateful. They will even pick you up or give you a ride. Highly recommend.
