They freshened up a 6.0L LS truck engine for me (LQ4). I had very low oil pressure and the middle cam bearing came out when removing the camshaft. This was a 300k mile junkyard engine that they saved the crank, stock rotating assembly and cleaned up for me. Runs great now and went into my 72 Nova. They will treat you like family. Bunch of great guys and I gave them the thumbs up to go through the stock truck heads with milling and valve job. No leaks, higher compression and its been great. Highly recommended for any work you may want to have done. They do it all from Jeep inline 6, iron dukes, ford big blocks, cummins diesels I have seen them all come through their shop.

This place was a complete waste of my time. They showed us around to wow us on what they have and what they do. We were simply looking for machine work and parts to build our engine. They told us that they would work up a quote and Email it to us the next day. Well after a few phone calls and a week later we got the quote. They charge top dollar for their machine work and it may very well be worth it but the parts were more then I could buy them from Summit or Jegs for. I bought the parts myself and saved money from their quote of the parts. We will never consider them again or refer them to anyone.

Took a head to get rebuilt by them a few months ago, feel like I overpaid but figured it was for quality reasons so went with it.Took my motor to be assembled at a closer shop, went down there and they showed me the glass bead left in the head I had built here, it was in all of the channels, and pretty much in almost every hole. Had I ran this head my motor would be toast.I called and they said bring it down for them to clean it but to be honest if it was this carelessly cleaned I rather pay the other shop to do it and show me each step of the way then trust them a second time and risk something else going wrong. When someone pays a ton of money for a head rebuild, do a superb QC on it before it leavesthey did offer to fix it, but it shouldnt have left like that for the price I paid.I have photos

Took my car in for a dyno tune. Was told belt was slipping. Took it back after belt was fixed and tuner said my motor was hurt and couldnt get car to idle/ not stumble due to my injectors. Had another shop compression check and leak down motor and motor was fine. They retuned it and car runs amazing now. This place acts like they are the best and are far from it.

Worst experience ever. Took my mustang in for some simple dyno power pulls. They took 5 days to even get me a dyno sheet, . Wouldnt let me even watch my car make a pull. On top of that charged me 50 dollar fee to use mt credit card. They were very pushy trying to sell me stuff and all they do is put down other shops acting like they are the best.

Please be careful of the shops you use for work. Not going to mention any names but my car was dropped off earlier this year for an engine install. The shop built the engine and installed it. The car was given back to me dirty, engine bay dirty, car leaking oil, cars alternator not charging nor working due to the alternator not installed correctly(grounded to a header bolt). They stated the fuel pump needed replaced and so they stated they replaced the pump and the sending unit on the drivers side but failed to install proper and needs tanks dropped and redone. ABS module was not grounded to nothing, engine mount missing a bolt. Car was also missing a rear cover bolt. Just want to warn my friends to beware because and having to pay someone else to get the job done correctly after it should of been done correctly the first time is not right. Not gonna point fingers or blame people just please becareful who you bring your car too. Some shops just don’t care. (For the record I did give them a second shot to fix the issues and do a checkover the second time and was told everything was good to go and ready for break-in) The parking break was not involved in the shop issues.

It absolutely baffles my mind that this shop went down hill very quickly, I looked at there reviews about 5-6 months ago and they had 5 stars(must have been friends of the owner). When I brought my evo x head in about 8 months ago I talked to Brian the β€œimport expert” he told me they work on evo heads and blocks all the time. I came in to get my head ported and polished as well as have my valve lash set correctly. I was told it would be a thousand dollars for all the work and it seemed like a fair price for what was supposed to be decent work. I was also told it would take about a month to do all the work. So I said go ahead and do the work and keep me updated on the progress. 4 weeks or so passes hadn’t heard anything from them about the head, I wasn’t to worried cause I was trying to figure out some other stuff with the car and the head was the least of my worries at the time 6-7 weeks pass I called and was told the head had not been worked on because they got super busy and we’re short staffed and that it was next to be worked on and to call back next week. I called back next week and no one knew The progress at the head and Brian was out of the shop and he would call me when he gets back, a day passes and no call back so I call again and talk to richard (aka mutton chops) he said he was sorry for the inconvenience and would get to work on it right away. After 2 months of calling and telling them my head should have been done they finally started working on it. I got it back a week later and thought they actually did a decent job (little did I know). I get back to the house start assembling the block and head and then put the timing chain cover on and the bolts don’t line up! They shaved 34 thousands off the head when it should have no more then 8 thousands off the head. I went into the shop and told them they took way to much off the bottom of the head and they refused to fix it, mutton chops said they never measure the head height before they start grinding, like it’s the customers responsibility to measure it?? mutton chops proceeded to say that a thicker head gasket will fix the problem and be just as reliable. I want a full fix not a band aid.If I could leave a 0 star review I would this place was supposed to be the best engine and head machinists in town. They refuse to fix there mistakes and have horrible customer service as well as work ethic. I have tried multiple times to get them to fix the mistake and they refuse and just tell me a thicker head gasket will suffice.

My truck was in this shop 8 months for a procharger I called to check on the progress and they said they are having a hard time getting the procharger brackets to fit and they were going to send brackets back ( keep in mind that the owner Jason Smith had talked me into the procharger because they could install it so easily) . So when the brackets finally came back they say it still didnt fit so now they gotta go custom .Outlaw had took it upon themselves to build the motor anyway they wanted to. Every time I called I would get no response. When I finally went up to the shop I found out they took out my ac compressor and switched it with another. If they would have kept me in the loop I could have told them leave the compressor alone because it will void my vintage air warranty. Since they seemed to be keeping me out of the loop on the build I thought they were gonna fund it to. After all they were avoiding my calls and adding custom parts and subtracting parts etc. When I finally get the truck back ( 4 months later at this point) the ac doesnt work and theres a huge chip in my door. When I initially dropped the truck off we did a walk around taking notes of existing bumps and bruises. Long story short they said it was already there ( which it wasnt) and they did not honor the form we signed off on. The chip on door was not on the form simply because they did it when it was in their possession . At this point Im happy to get away from them so i take it as a loss and leave immediately. These people were not trying to pay or admit to their mistakes.I leave the shop and a mile or 2 down the road my truck feels stupidly odd. Its shifting late at times then shifting early then eventually its not getting out of 2nd gear. I get the truck towed back to the shop and they charge me to build up my 4l60e to a beefed up 4l60e that can hold more power. Weeks later I pick up the truck drive it around for a day or so and the same symptoms begin all over again. This time it left me stranded on the side of the road at 8 in the morning. I called the shop as soon as they opened. I explained to Shammy my situation, how I was stranded in the Arizona heat due to outlaws faulty work again and he said he would send a tow truck. 6 hrs later tow truck shows up and Im nowhere to be found because I had to call another tow truck since Shammy wasnt answering my calls. I figured this foo forgot about me or plain out avoiding me.When I got the truck to the shop, they called me days later and said they didnt know whats going on with the truck and the transmission. Then they call around to a few other shops and find out theres a 2 bar map sensor that needs to be added due to the procharger forcing air. So now Im understanding why my transmission blew up 15 minutes after they realeased the truck to me the first time. l didnt even get a chance to get on it while i was on the freeway because the truck was revving way to high and ended up blowing 2nd and 3rd gear due to the map sensor issue. I blew my first transmission due to outlaw not adding the correct map sensor due to their ignorance and inexperience. They are on social media acting like they are the top dog and dont even know the basics. How are they a perfomance shop and blow 3 transmissions before finding out a solution. This shop is the definition of fake it till u make it. They are not ready. They are inexperienced, they are unprofessional and have many tricks up their sleeves. At the dyno shop they blew my motor but before I would find out Jason Smith wanted me to sign a waiver saying its a huge possibility that the motor could blow and I couldnt go after him. Long story short I didnt sign so my motor was fixed. If I couldve gave a review with zero stars than I wouldve.
