After a few too many cracks in my windshield, it was time for me to replace it for a new one. I made an appointment through my insurance company and they directed me to Safelite. I had an appointment with them and arrived 5 minutes early. So, rather than be taken on time, I waited over half an hour before someone came to talk to me about my car. I was then given the news that the new windshield was damaged so they needed to get a new one from their warehouse. This wasnt their fault, but it did cost me another half an hour or longer. When they did finally start working on my car, I didnt leave until a good 2 hours after getting there WITH AN APPOINTMENT. I was glad I didnt have any plans that day. After getting the windshield, everything looked fine and I went on my way. It wasnt until it rained that I realized my windshield wipers had not been put back into place properly. They were so low that they only cleared off the water from half of my area of vision. Now that it is monsoon season, I replaced my windshield wipers to find that they put my wipers so low they CHIPPED THE PAIN ON THE HOOD OF MY CAR DOWN TO THE METAL. This company has literally one job; replace a windshield. If they cant even do that in a timely manor without damaging the vehicle, then they dont deserve to be in business. This is my mothers car and I have cared for this car for years for her. In return, thIs was my first car and it has never damaged in any way. Now, the first time I have to make a repair is because I had my windshield replaced by a professional windshield repair company. I will never be returning to this company and will be sure to let my friends and family know as well.

Kai and the team really impressed me. Easy online scheduling. Very efficient service and economical. Even accommodated late Uber drop off for car pick up...after 5. So grateful to this well run operation. I dont want to have to repair or replace another windshield, but I know I want to come back to this store. Great people!

While waiting for one employee to find an answer to my question, 3 other employees checked with me to make sure I had been helped before continuing what they were doing. Derek did a great job replacing my windshield and even kept my car in the shop to keep it cool before I picked it up. Very happy with this service.

On a Saturday evening, I was driving through the car wash and the window fell down in the door all by itself. I had no idea how to fix it and didnt have any of the tools.I tried calling around to autoglass repair shops in Phoenix and even those labeled as 24 hours didnt answer or went to voicemail. I then reached a company and they said it would be Wednesday before they could get the part in and get me scheduled for an appointment.Not willing to risk leaving the vehicle parked overnight with the window down, I figured out, with the help of YouTube how to pull the door apart and raise the window. Duct tape works wonders in holding up a window when the regulator fails.On Sunday, I decided to try Safelite as I had insurance claims done by them before. I went to their website and their scheduling system is awesome. You can either enter the year, make, and model of the vehicle, or simply enter the VIN and the site does the work for you! Then, based on your location (zip code), the site will tell you the soonest available appointment time and location. Once you choose the desired time, the system allows you to automatically add an event to your calendar!As far as the location I went to is concerned, the office staff and technicians were both attentive and friendly. Their is coffee and cold bottled waters for those waiting on service. Wireless internet is also available so you can work or browse the web while waiting.Highly recommend this streamlined service!

Unfortunately they didnt have the windshield in stock which I already had to wait week to sonthey could get the right windhield. I do have to say they were apologetic and friendly.

They were the only place willing to get me in on the weekend for my passenger window. I wound up needing a different brand of glass that fit better. I think most shops would have just given me any old brand and left it at that, but Safelite wanted the window glass to fit perfect to prevent any issues with my window regulator, etc. I was just glad to not have shattered glass all over my car and a working window for work on Monday! They were able to schedule again at my home. The next piece of glass did fit even better! I would not have known the difference. These guys have done an amazing job.

I have a dash cam and rigged the wire up with clear tape, but the technician that replaced my windshield went out of his way to hide the cord for me! I didnt ask him to do this but it makes the inside of my truck look so much cleaner and I really appreciate it!

Careless and Sloppy Work on Windshield Install - Absolutely UnacceptableMobile Safelite technician Jillian (Jill) installed a new windshield on my wife’s 2011 Infiniti G25 on Monday, May 17, 2021.Not only did Jill scratch paint off of both windshield wiper arms, the install was so sloppy near the roof of the vehicle, I have no choice but to: (1) ...wait one week for the adhesive to completely dry so re-install will not result in wet black adhesive landing inside car interior ~Safelite employee at 83rd Ave. location, Peoria, AZ; (2) waste my valuable personal time to have the improperly installed windshield re-installed at another Safelite location; and (3) waste more valuable personal time sourcing new wiper arms from dealership to replace damaged units.I chose Safelite for the replacement simply because they are the preferred glass provider for USAA. Never again. Had Jill simply admitted to making mistakes at the time of install, as well as offering a fix/solution, I would likely not be writing this unfortunate review. Due to this incident and a previous incident – an accident which resulted in over $600 in damage to the same vehicle - I would advise avoiding Safelite for any windshield replacement, whatsoever.

They dont answer the calls, hard to contact them, more than 3 weeks and the job is not done.

This morning 10 minutes after opening I arrived. Waited in the lobby to check in. Waited 4 ish minutes a tech walked in and refered me to a phone number posted to the left of the check in window if I needed help. I waited another another couple more minutes processing what he told me and because he did say he would try to find someone then when nobody showed I left.

I dropped my vehicle off at 9:30 for my appointment and was told it would be 2-3 hours to replace my windshield. They started working on it at 10:30. I had my toddler with me so we left at 10am via uber as I didnt have a ride and returned around 2 to find out that they had stopped working on my vehicle to accommodate another vehicle. I had to wait an additional 2 hours there with my toddler while they finished the other vehicle and then got back to mine. I am very disappointed with the service all around. Also, my dash alerted me that my hatch door was slightly open when I was leaving. Im not sure why they would have needed to get in the back of my rav4?

I have tried using Safelite (this location) multiple times and have been met with frustration each time. Its impossible to contact the location directly (the phone number goes to corporate) and when you do finally get your car in, they find it seemingly impossible to complete the task to 100%. Theyve made me reschedule a new appointment for recalibration, theyve sent my glass out on a service truck when the appointment was at their shop, they didnt even know I had an appointment, and theyve been unable to recalibrate my safety systems, just telling me I need to take it to the dealer. Whats the point in taking it there and now having to make another appointment with the dealer?Avoid Safelite like you wish youd avoided that flying rock on the freeway.

I was routed to this shop by using my USAA app. This email was sent to inform me about what to do in order to drop off my truck, and the recalibration info. I dropped it off and then got a phone call THREE hours later. The technician said because I have 265/75 tires instead of the 265/70 stock tires (no aftermarket suspension has been done to change ride height in any way) they could not recalibrate my sensor. What an absolute waste of time. I went with a different company and they not only said they could do the service the same day, and recalibrate, but they would give me a loaner car if for some reason they could not do same day service.

Im still waiting for a call back from James the manager of Safelite AutoGlass in Tempe. Seems like a nice guy he just didnt follow through talk to him on numerous occasions.Update:I finally got a hold of James after getting a response from the owner of Safelite. Again no follow-through said he was going to call me back its been about a week he mentioned he would be calling me back when he found the part not so much its sad. Its just a side view mirror.

It all happened so fast I dont even remember my window being cracked! Booked a replacement passenger window for my F150 online. The next day they arrived at my house, I handed the technician my key and 30 minutes later I was good to go!

I had my windshield replaced at Safelite auto and the employee scratched and dented my door jamb o. The car. I tried to use their internal system to get the issue repaired but not successful. I wouldn’t recommended this north Phoenix location they are lacking in follow up, customer care, workmanship, repair quality. Find another glass company that takes more pride in their work.

Be prepared for a longer repair if you have a windshield with cameras that need to be recalibrated. Overall, it was worth having a safe install with a safe windshield. Thx Safelite.

The tech Eddie showed up on time, was very professional, clean, and knowledgeable. He installed the windshield in my Tacoma in about an hour. After he was done, he explained all the steps that were taken during the install, including the covid19 cleaning/sanitizing the company requires before and after the job. My truck was tidier after he left for sure, and fitted with what looks like, a very good quality piece of glass. Thank you.

Made an emergency appointment in the morning and was able to get in the same afternoon. I was able to do everything online including payment. The staff was professional and courteous and even got finished well before the estimated time. Id highly recommend them for vehicle window services.

My experience was very disappointing. I had my windshield replaced at my home. The tech was in time and very courteous. My husband asked me if the molding on the windshield was always not adhered to the windshield. I brought the car to Safelite. They examined the car and said the tech did a terrible job and that they would reorder the clip kit and molding. After a week I never heard back so I returned. No one ordered the parts needed to fix the problem. This time they were ordered and the windshield job was fixed correctly. I completely understand sometimes things dont go as planned. Bottom line is even though my job fell through the cracks twice they were very nice and made it right eventually.

Fast and friendly service

The window was replaced in adequate time. We experienced a malfunction in the door handle as a result. They came to our location to repair the handle within one day of contacting them.

Safelite attempted a winshield repair and failed. Injecting resin into a crack without diamond-burring to relieve stress is just postponing the problem. Also, when the tech already has replacement ordered and scheduled install penciled in, it makes you wonder if the PLAN to break so they get more insurance money. Suggest going with another company that isnt afraid to pay a skilled tech to do the job right.

Friendly. Normally come to me, but went to them in this situation. They were close, fast, friendly and had several ways that they tried to connect with me (text, phone and email) to ensure I knew what to expect, where to go, find out when I would arrive, etc.I dropped the car off and they called when ready.They had safety protocols in place with masks, and spacing signage, etc.

Last time I had my windshield replaced 2 years ago it was $169 I dropped it off at there 20th drive location, now the quote is $369 same vehicle, crazy

The Tech who repaired my windshield on my truck was awesome. Very polite, had it done in the time they said and even cleaned of the other windows. He went beyond what Ive seen others do, he needs to be in a management position.

Our insurance company contracted safelite to make us an appointment here. The appointment was made with safelite and I was told it would be all set. I showed up for the appointment they took my car and said it should be about an hour. After 4 hours they called me and they said they did not have the part and would need the car until the next day. They completed the car prior to 7am the next day. When I returned to pick up my car I was given a business card of a different company and told to contact them to complete the work (tinting), I asked if they could handle that as the service was supposed to be included in the insurance service. No, was the answer. I contacted the third party and vioce mail directed me online to make an appointment. His waiting list was 2+ weeks long. I am unable to complete the work and the car will remain half finished due to insurance not wanting to pay for an extra person to complete work. Had I known all this I would have went to different all inclusive shop.

I was called the morning of my appointment and Notified that they can’t fix my windshield unless I go to a location. This appointment was scheduled over a week ago. The locations are booked for over another week and I made my appointment because I needed it fix before I leave town. I have been trying to get in touch with a location for over an hour. I keep getting transferred around. This is very frustrating.I gave two stars because at least the rep called me early in the morning so I didn’t waste my whole day waiting. However, this should have been determined by the scheduling department at the time of the booking.

Went in for a drop of service, when I went in to pay they tried telling me I made the appointment wrong which I know I didn’t since I had taken a screenshot of my confrontation email saying what window needed to be repaired. The receptionist continued to tell me it was my fault and I made the appointment wrong and that they didn’t have the part they needed. I would have driven the 30 mins to the other store to get my window fixed if I wasn’t made to feel like it was my fault they were not prepared. I ended up going somewhere else to have my window fix bc of that interact.

High-standard company with excellent employees! We were treated kindly and promptly from the very first moment we called to the very end, once our cars glass was replaced in our driveway. Both Caleb and Harrison were very competent and incredibly nice, and went out of their way to deliver a job well done. Rare to find a company who treats their customers so well and makes sure everything is above all expectations! Five stars!
