Nice staff but ultimately failed to quote me for a simple fender repair on my 2019 Tiguan. It’s been almost 3 weeks and I checked in 3 times with the assurance the quote was on its way. I can’t comment on the quality of their repairs and I won’t be able to without a quote…

No matter how many years its been, every time I call Im treated like family. That is the big difference between select auto body and every other body shop. The shop owner is one of the most down-to-earth people Ive met. Bud is a great guy. The customer service reps are incredibly nice as well.Their dedication to perfection is unsurpassable. The staff here are amazing! They went above and beyond when we had our car fixed. Long story short, after our car was fixed, the engine started to have some problems as soon as we were driving home. The area they worked on was not near the front of the car or anything. They helped us in getting the car to a dealership, which turned out to be a manufacturer issue. They loaned us one of their personal cars to use while it was getting fixed. That was so unexpected and absolutely amazing. A few weeks later, our car was rear-ended and they still had leftover paint and didnt charge us extra the next time around. They are amazing to work with, provide great service and work, and they dont use off label parts (I cant remember what theyre called). The staff here are truly wonderful! (This review is from 2017)

Bud, my wife and I want to thank you so much for taking care of us. We had our car fixed at select auto body and the artists who worked on our car did an absolutely beautiful job. We found an issue and I contacted Bud and without a second thought asked us to bring in the car so he could look at it. Turns out to be and worn out gasket which was no fault in the fixing of our car. Bud fixed the problem and we cant say thank you enough. I put total faith in Select Auto Body, they do amazing work and stand by it as well. We will recommend and take our vehicles no where else. This company is one of a kind.

Went here with my mother for repairs to her car after we were rear ended. So far, the service has been wonderful. They are on top of it, offering a chair and water (multiple times as we waited). They also called our rental three times, and after having waited about an hour said they would drive us over to the rental place themselves to try and expedite the process.They havent finished with her car yet but they left an awesome impression. Cant wait to see the work done.

Im going to start by saying stop considering other body shops and call this place for an appointment right now. Bud and Derek are the two guys who I have had the pleasure of doing business my past two visits. The first visit was metal reworking on a damaged wheel well that they repaired in such a timely manner that was inexpensive compared to the high quality of the job. I mentioned that someone had scratched my door and they touched it up for practically free making it look much better. The second visit I had them install splash guards and replace the housing on my headlights. The job was done extremely well and in a timely manner. This time I mentioned I had rock chips and they are also touching that up for no cost. These workers are professional, dependable and do the highest quality of work. At this point, I look for reasons to take my truck in just to interact with the guys because they are such great people. They will always have my business and I could not recommend them more.

This place was great and the best friendly people to leave your car with too. You may have to pay a $500 deductible to them even with insurance but their worth it trust me. Your car will look so brand new and be taking care of so good too.

Highly recommend Select Auto Body. Brought my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee there that was hit on the side by another driver. Their work is amazing and it looks brand new. I almost went to the State Farm approved repair shop then a friend told me about them. I am SO glad they did the work. SF would have put refurbished parts on my 1 year old car with 13,000 miles on it. They were not going to let that happen. Excellent customer service - excellent job.

The staff was above and beyond helpful and friendly, helping me navigate the insurance and the car rental. I did not have to worry about anything. Hands down the best body shop in Phoenix. My wifes VW Jetta was t-boned last April and Bud fixed it perfectly. Just 10 days shy of the 1 year anniversary of the accident my daughter was t-boned in the EXACT same place and the airbags deployed this time. Had Select Auto Body not done their job, the airbags likely would not have deployed and my daughter could have suffered serious injury.... so thank you Bud and Select Auto Body! You dont want to need a body shop but when you do... you want one that treats you like family!

I chose Select Auto Body to do my repair work not only because of their excellent google reviews but also how comfortable they made me feel from the minute I walked in to get an initial estimate. I met Sam and was very pleased with his customer service. Even before getting 2 or 3 other quotes I knew I would come back to Select Auto Body. My work was done in a timely manner and I was continuously kept up to date with the repairs on my Toyota Tacoma by both Sam and Bud. Sam went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work done on my front end.

Used these folks on several occasions to fix my wife and Is cars. Im the kind of guy who notices a misplaced comma and Bud has never stopped working until even my impossible standards were satisfied. Bud, the passionate hands on owner of Select Auto Body is AWESOME!! Our brand new off the show room floor Chevy Malibu was rear ended by a texting driver while sitting at a stop light. The initial call to Bud, he first wanted to know if my Wife and I were all right then he had me explain what kind of damage had occurred to our vehicle, which at the time was still drivable. However with the trunk lid not shutting completely he said it was not safe to drive due to exhaust fumes coming into the car. He made a call and had it towed from our house a few hours later. From that point on Bud would call me with weekly updates. He also took pictures which gave us a history of what was being done to the car. There are no secrets or cut corners by Bud and all his workers. We picked up our car on Friday and when we pulled up he had a team of employees doing the final detailing of the car to make that final perfect touch. Our car is like we saw it the first time on the show room floor, it looks amazing and all the people at Select Auto Body are truly amazing and we sincerely appreciate everything they’ve done for us. They will also return your rental car as part of their service which my Wife loved since she’s still nervous to drive after being rear ended, that was fantastic as well.

Excellent work. I’m a perfectionist so I looked over the finished product very thoroughly. They replaced and painted my front bumber and fog light bezels. Work took less than a week and they worked with my insurance. God forbid I have to have body work done again, but if I do, it will be through Select Auto Body.

I have never been more impressed with a company. This post is a little delayed, but I wanted to ensure I got around to praising their work and customer service. They not only did an amazing job on my brand new 2017 Subaru that an old lady backed into, but went above and beyond to work with my crazy schedule- even coming in early and returning my rental car for me so I could make it to work on time. They helped immensely with explaining the insurance and quotes. Bob was so kind and made me feel at ease with leaving my car. The car looks brand new again and was an excellent paint job with extended warranty past what the original dealer had. Select Auto Body came recommended by VW Camelback. I had body and suspension work done after a collision. he staff were always professional, knowledgeable, and most of all helpful at explaining every step of the process. Work was done ahead of schedule and looks back to brand new using OEM parts. I’m back two weeks later so they can double check the paint. Still looking perfect. They’re thoroughly checking all the repairs to ensure nothings changed in the past 2 weeks. I wouldn’t hesitate using Select Auto Body again and highly recommend them. Thanks to Bud and his staff!

The Wow Factor is an understatement in regards to their customer service, their skilled body work, and the way they dealt with my insurance company for me. Tammy greeted me by phone when I first called inquiring about their location and their services. After my car was towed to their location and placed in their possession, Bud the owner personally called me several times from start to finish to keep me updated and let me know what was going on throughout the month long process of getting my car repaired. I also dealt with Sam, and Stacy. Sam was extremely knowledgeable and friendly from the moment my car arrived by tow truck. Stacy also called me several times about my car, and his attention to detail and customer service in dealing with me was flawless on every phone call, and even the night I picked up my car once it was completed. Bud was able to go to bat for me with my insurance company and he was able to persuade them not to total my car, based on its excellent condition, low mileage, and his ability to keep the cost of the parts and labor to a minimum to keep it under the total threshold amount, which I was very close to. While my car was in their possession the battery died (it was a five year old battery), and Stacy arranged to purchase a new battery and employees of Select Auto Body installed it for me. I not only got my car back, looking better than it did before the accident, I also go a new battery. I cant thank Select Auto Body enough for all they did for me during the month they had my car. I owe them a debt of gratitude for their service, dedication, and understanding how important it was that I got my car back instead of it being totaled (its an eleven year old car) that Ive only had for five years, and of course Im also attached to it. My car was repaired to pristine condition, and you would never know it had been in accident. Both new and used parts were used, and the paint job was pure perfection. They request you to bring the car back a month after you pick it up so they can re-inspect it, and Bud personally inspected my car a month later after I had initially picked it up. Ive had no issues or concerns with the car or any of their repairs in the past four months since I picked it up. I conclude this review by stating: Hands Down, there is no better auto body shop in Phoenix. Bud and his employees will do you right from start to finish. They are honest, up-front, friendly, compassionate, and know what they are doing. They are all masters at their craft. They also will make sure your car is repaired with factory parts, and not after-market parts as much as they possibly can. I dropped off my 2012 VW Passat last week to have some repair done to the front fender/bumper. I found them through both State Farm and because they are a VW certified auto body shop. I called in one morning before work and spoke to Tammie. I asked if I could come in to get my initial estimate before I had to be at work and she let me know that she could get me completely set up to leave my car if I would like. I agreed and 15 minutes later she called back and let me know that she had all of my paperwork and would have Hertz come pick me up to get me into a rental that morning - WOW. Im so impressed with everyone at the shop. The color matching and body work that they did on my car is incredible; I couldnt be happier. Hopefully visiting an auto body shop is not in my future, but if it is, I will definitely be back!

I used Select Auto last year for my truck and they saved me about $3000 on the body repairs I needed. Now Im using them on some minor repairs to my CRV. I dont suggest using anyone else.
