My last experience here was great. The staff was very knowledgeable on parts of course for transmissions. I highly recommend Transtar Industries to anyone that needs transmission parts.

I was able to buy individual seperate needed parts. Unlike National Transmission that you have to buy the whole kits. Sometimes you just need what you need. And what you dont need is more headaches and unnecessary waste of money.

They have the torque converter I needed in stock but the girl behind the counter would not sell it to me because I did not have my core even though I was willing to pay a court charge until I returned the core.I took my business elsewhere.This was after I had already placed a call over there and a gentleman had said that he would hold that core for me with my name so I can go pick it up.

Wouldnt sell me a torque specs without the core, I was willing to pay the core charge.Woman behind counter was very rude!

Called ahead and they had my parts ready when I got there. Got in and out quickly.

I love it there. Always been great at getting my parts together.

Transtar has helped me out so much during this pademic. Never turned its back on me like the competitor on 27 ave & mcdowell. Transtar staff very helpful and professional as always. Working at home during this 2020 pandemic, Transtar staff has gone above and beyond to help me with my parts to help me finish my work to keep money circulating in to the economy. I can truly say i owe it to them than my finacial status is stable. I sure hope to grow more in my intended business,because I am honestly sold and locked with theirs. Thank you Transtar 👍

Do lots of business with these guys, just make sure if you have someone else picking up parts, other than who ordered the said parts, be sure to double check your order for all your parts, they like to forget to include the correct quantity of said parts. If they have a question about your order, they wont call to check with you, they will just guess and guess wrong and you will end up waiting another day for the correct parts.

These guys are the only ones who had the seal that I needed and they had it in stock not having to special order it was very nice. Plus they were very knowledgeable and gave me some good advice to help me with making my transmission continue to work properly for many years to come

After I was asked what part I was looking for, I was put on hold for almost 7 min. Only to be asked again what I needed. When I told him again he responded, Oh thats right! I remember now, we dont have that part. He proceeds to tell me the parts they carried. I hung up! Thanks for wasting my time Transtar!

This place is awesome one of the only places I go where the employees dont talk down to me because Im a girl super nice bunch of people their. Was rebuilding my tranny needed a part had it instalk went I want to pick it up gentleman I spoke with looked me in the eye when we were talking and had a very firm hand shake!

Transtar Industries are the best they found parts that GM of discontinued and they had them on their shelf waiting for me when I showed up absolutely excellent service friendly knowledgeable people you need parts for a transmission manual or automatic call these guys

I’ve never rebuilt a transmission. I’ve never taken one apart. But recently I decided to give it a try. My transmission died on my daily driver. It’s a 1989 Ford Bronco with a AOD. Transtar has all the parts I needed and everyone there has always given me great service. Since I don’t know what I’m doing, I have had to make multiple trips to get more parts and replace parts I have broken like lip seals. The Lip Wizard they gave me worked perfect. They are always polite, and patient with me. The prices seem to be the same as online parts. They remanufactured my torque converter and had it back in 2 days. They also informed me that me direct drive shaft had broken off inside. Big mistake on my part, and it would have gone unnoticed if not for them. They also ordered me a used shaft at a great price compared to a new one. That saved me time and money since I work 6 days a week as a truck driver and don’t have the time to run all over town looking for parts. They didn’t have to do that. I would have purchased the brand new one for $250 if not offered the choice to get a used one for $25. These guys are great, and I recommend them 100%.

Its a limon business, it doesnt have public service. I wait for 30 minutes, I dont get attention. Stupid customer service.
