Always a pleasure going there, they are so friendly and patient with me and I get to discover new foods. Great sweets!
Hard to find stuff at good prices but the kim chee is a big pricier. Good sturdy plantable lemongrass.(Edit: the lemongrass has flourished in back yard!)
I went looking for a cafe cuban espresso percolator and they didnt have it, they did have a variety of cultural type foods.
I go here for some off the mainstream stuff.I’ve limited most of my purchases to canned, jarred, dried, stuff. However, I’ve had frozen clams, refrig Kimchi, fresh veggies andOMG!Those pork bao are incredible!Incredible!$4BOMB
This place used to be one of the best Chinese stores in Arizona, but now it has gone down especially over in the meat area, I went over there to place a order of fish to be cleaned and cut, they have 2 old people in back doing what the young people should be doing. Very slow takes about 20+ minutes to clean and cut a fish. This lady wanted me to walk away so I don’t see her picking up a fish that was on floor and she put it along with the wish I had choose. I mean how can you pick up food on floor in this COVID with all the germs going on.. I thought about telling the cashier or someone or ask her about the fish she picked on floor, but she was so slow that I didn’t want wait anymore. I just left. Very disgusting and I won’t be returning, I will be taking my services elsewhere.
Small location but has almost everything you need .. everything is fresh and extremely reasonably priced.... They bake fresh Buns, the sesame balls etc daily... You can find freshly made spring rolls ...sausage etc while the limited supply lasts....
This store has a great selection of frozen foods and groceries as well as items to store in your pantry. I in particular love the giant bao buns that they make everyday. They also seem to rotate their stock often so it is fun to go in and find new things each visit.
Tried to purposely sell me rotten durian then only gave me half my money back
Huge assortment of varying products/cuisines, packed in this Market. Pork buns, vietnamese rolls, boba, etc are a few of the items made in-house. Limited supply at times. Bulk items, fresh fish, as well tons of vegan meat substitutes.Cookware, knives, and kitchenware too.
Theyre friendly and have so many different assortments of asian cuisines and meals that you can go home and learn to make l, definitely a place to check out if you enjoy trying to foods and cultures and just people in general.
YouTube on how to cook Asian food, come here for cooking stuff, great place, nice people .
Small market but it has everything you may need if your on a kosher diet. Very good selections in a small store.
Fun little supermarket to pick up things the traditional grocery stores dont carry. very good prices and lots of selection. pretty sure the employees dont speak English, but if you have a question, just buy the product and try it! my only regret is not buying more things that I didnt, only because I didnt know what it was. will be back. would low key be a fun date spot too 👀
Decent food but the place can be crowded and hectic at times.
Great small market. Lots of fresh Asian vegetables, not always fresh you need to just get lucky it’s the days the stock up.
Been shopping there forever...always treated SUPER NICE...!!!!PLUS GOOD COOKED FOOD IN THE BAK ...
Didnt have a big sea food selection.
Small but had what I needed.
The Boba spot is good.
Awesome place. Good prices
A good small Thai market i got what I needed to buy and bought 2 sesame ball and it is good
Nice store. Helpful people
If you need anyhard to find asian sauces or rice noodles. Check this place out. They also have a decent selection of teas.
The cashiers are very slow.
I love this store ❤️ They have all the Palm oil I need.
Small market but with alot of good deals. Recommend checking out if you are looking for ingredients that frys and Safeway dont carry.
Come here all the time for the bun bao that is freshly cooked in the back. They also have an assortment of drinks.
Eny kind of African food 😋you want you can get it from that store.
Always fun to visit Tan Phat Market. Easy for us to find certain products we used to get in Vietnam, especially various noodles, spices and sauces. Its a small market, so dont expect a huge variety of produce, though the produce they do have is nicely oriented toward Asian dishes.
I discovered Sweet Rice. This can only be found in Asian Markets . This market has the best products. I adore this place. Friendly upon entering . They even have products from India.
I really like this place. I grew up in Hawaii and this market is similar to some that i used to go to as a kid! The pork buns are amazing!!Sometimes parking is crazy
Savory foods from several different countries
Good selection of oriental food products. We were looking for a rice cooker but didnt find one. Instead found some Chinese tea. Easy to get to but there was somewhat limited parking.
They are racist, I went to get some things and was in line and the lady at the cashier was helping this woman in front of me. There were two other ladies by the cashier eating. The woman had a lot of stuff and kept going back and getting more stuff. Some other Asian lady came and got in front of me and she ask if I was next and I said yes. One the ladies who were eating stopped and went to the other cashier and served the woman who was behind me. When I asked them if they were serious they just laughed
I wanted some Kim chi but I ended up buying some rice too. U love how the grocery store smells. It reminds me of time I spent overseas in the military.
They have all kinds neat Oriental foodstuffs and housewares. Prices are very reasonable. The only problem is its hard to find somebody to help you out, that can understand English.
It has a lot of oriental products just very unorganized. Very small store for all the stuff they have. I was looking for precooked white rice I get at another Asian market farther from me and this score doesnt carry any precooked rice. The thing I did like was the variety of fish they have and they cut it for you there.
Produce section was kind of sad today. Normally its a great place for Asian specialties.
Wow! The best Ice Cream and Boba Tea drink I ever had. Delicious. I drove 30 miles to try it and was NOT disappointed! I will be backagain & again for sure.Parking can be a hassle but the Market certainly worth the effort.
Fairly small market compared to many of the others Ive been to, but actually had more of my favorite items than anywhere else. The produce was high quality and very fresh.
Very nice Asian market. While small, it had everything I was looking for. I came for the vegan food! They have a wide selection of frozen mock vegan “meats” that are delicious and would easily win a blind taste test in comparison to other brands such as Gardein. A few options that I saw while there was: mock whole duck, fish, shrimp, cuttlefish balls, chicken and more. I am a huge fan of the products and wish more vegans knew about Asian markets!
I love going into this store for their chinese eggplant. They are affordable and have a great variety of ethnic fresh vegetables. The staff is friendly and smiles but they do not understand or speak English so be prepared for a true ethnic experience. Also the vegetables arent labeled in English so you have to recognize them to know what they are. Its a cute little oasis in the city. Im glad to have found it and I go there regularly.
I have loved this place for a long time and the owner is a very sweet woman
Absolute gem! When they say Oriental Market they mean ALL of Asia, from the east coast of Japan to India and even beyond. The produce blows my mind. Noodles, sauces, flavorings, pickled goods, spices, meat & fish, cookware, glassware. Its nearly a restaurant supply place. Its the only place Ive found fresh lemongrass lately. Its not yuppiefied, its utilitarian. Dont go there looking for a Whole Foods vibe, but you also wont get hit with Whole Paycheck syndrome. I bought an entire plastic bag full of produce for about $7. You must be willing to ask about produce, because its not marked in English. Looking for an authentic pan-Asian market? This is it.
Lots of choices.
+JMJ...Travelling with a friend from Cottonwood. Stopped in Tan Phat. Very nice store! Greeted by a friendly elderly gentleman who was one of the cashiers. I am not Asian but enjoy some foods. Found quite a few delicacies (to me that is): pork uterus, pork snouts, chickens with heads!!! 😨😨😨, jack fruit size of a large watermelon with spikes! Vegan ham paste??!! Looking forward to my next visit! Saturday, 5 May 2018s
Very clean and friendly staff. Always find what I’m looking for.
Neat and cheap pricing on Oriental items. Theres always something to discover there. Freshly made steam buns that are ALWAYS delish - always available whenever theyre open 💕
Good place to pick up asian foods and folk medicines. People are nice but most dont speak English.
Its a great place to find items of an oriental nature! I couldnt read the labels. seeing as they were clearly not in english, that in itself told me this was authentic oriental fare. There are also two Asian restaurants in this quaint little shopping center. So have it made or make it yourself, you cant go wrong here.
Good selection, friendly employees. Happy to come back
Super rude customer service, dirty, smelly.
Good variety of Asian foods and over the counter Chinese medications, products from various Asian nationalities. Not every staff speaks English, so you may have to ask more than one person for help if needed. Inexpensive. Good produce, rice, meats, teas, etc.
Great variety.
They have alot of great food 👍😃
Solid selection for someone like me to have fun with...havent tried there fish, meats, & chix... but they look interesting.
Small, different and cute! Nice people and lots of goodies to be found. Try the Lychee!
I am never disappointed in this little Asian market! They have so many things, and always what Im looking for. Today it was noodles. I walked out with soy sauce, chop sticks, baby bok choy, fresh ginger, and thankfully, noodles!
Great store with amazing prices. Friendly and very helpful staff. I will definitely do my shopping there in the future.
Wonderful staff and a wide assortment of specialty foods. Gois prices and great service.
This store is awesome for any Asian food you are looking for. They have a large selection of hard-to-find produce, great vegan and vegetarian options and shelves filled with treasures. I find something new every time I come in!!Best of all, the prices are beyond reasonable - definitely the most affordable Asian grocer I have found in the Phoenix area so far!
I like this location 👌 it would be nice if the employees spoke english with customers they look like nice ppl.
They have everything easy to find awesome prices love this market.
Great market! Smaller than Lee Lees but still great!
Decent selection and great prices. Staff is generally quite helpful.
I was looking for Sweet Rice Flour, I tried to find it everywhere...they had it!!!
Gotta love this place. Its not as glamorous as Super L, but as well stocked as Super L, with fresh fish and 5 lb bags of peeled garlic for $9!
Great selection of Oriental and immigrant groceries. Wonderful unusual vegetables and meats. Quaint atmosphere and friendly help.
The market was very nice. There was food from multiple different countries and cultures like India, Latin america, and Asia. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The market was also in a very nice little shopping center with boba and a vietnamese phò restaurant as well. However there was a small parking lot shared between 4 establishments.
Best variety of oriental products that our family has found in Phoenix- good prices & produce e.g., lemongrass, galangha.
Great variety. Fresh produce. Would put 5 stars if any staff could speak English.
Went there to get a Hen and got just that
Love this place!! They have just enough of everything considering the area!! Its not yet done me wrong!! 🤗😍👍
My daughter loves this place
Great little store
Nice small market, good variety and lots of fish, meat and veggies
A neighborhood store that has oriental and Indian food and fresh food such as galangal and banana flowers and fresh lychee nuts when in season. There always seems to be one person there who speaks English well and can help you find things.
Friendly customer service
A lots of Asian kind of vegetables and Noddles I loved.
Nice place if you know what you want before you go, otherwise its time to break out your Google translate app and start exploring. However I was extremely disappointed they dont carry the large bag of loose Number One Brand Thai Tea, I had to get a box of 20 individual serving tea bags that are of an extremely lesser quality.
This place was great.. the last 2 times I have bought avocados and bananas they don’t ripen and when you cut them they are rotten inside ... definitely been refrigerated fool me once .....
Very friendly people ...the owner was very helpful ..helping me choose the right pan fried noodles for my dinner
I live in Northern Az. There are no Asian Markets in Flagstaff. I like shopping here for everything I need.
A simple, local Vietnamy restaurant that usually has a few minutes waiting to get a table.
Great little market! Great fines, great prices...
Very friendly and handy old school Market Place. Fresh and exotics veggies and more.
The people working here have absolutely no customer service experience! They look at you like what the f**k are you here? They always look very angry, especially the ones at the fish and meat area. Always check your Receipts.
Great for all your south east Asian food needs.
It has all of the Oriental foods needed to make something great. As a person in a wheelchair, I wish it had bigger isles though.
Not as big of a selection, but still a good place to find Asian foods.
This is a nice plays to buy some stuff that are difficult to find in other places
Great place to get island products if youre from the island. Also if you do a lots of Oriental cooking.
DIRTY, STINKY WITH UNFRESH FRUITS & VEGGIES. ONE OF THE OWNER WILL WATCH EVERY MOVE YOU MAKE WHEN YOURE ONLY TRYING TO SHOP. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS GROCERY IS THEY HAVE MANY MOCK MEATS FOR VEGETARIANS & VEGANS IN THE FROZEN ISLE. THATS IT !!!
They are well stocked and have a lot to offer for Asian food and grocery.
Great market to get asian food ingrediants etc. Friendly, though small, has what i need .
Need an ingredient you cant find elsewhere? What about a wok? They have it all!
