I had the pleasure of dealing with Sara when I went to Leon’s to buy some furniture for my apartment. She was very helpful and personable as she showed me several options. I eventually decided on a love seat and sectional for the living room as well as a bed for my second bedroom. Sara was able to get me a good deal on a base for the bed as well as some gift coupons that I later cashed in on a new coffee table. I am very happy with my purchases and have had the chance to pop in to the store on a few occasions where I always find Sara happy to say hello and help. Thank you Sara and Leon’s and I’m sure I will see you again soon!
Was disappointed that the advertised delivery time was not accurate. Store manager did her best to change this and these efforts were much appreciated. From the store level, once I heard from management, I did feel like my disappointment was acknowledged and that efforts were made to remedy this but to no avail - there remains a disconnect between their Corporate Head Office policies and a truly positive customer experience. I would recommend bringing your concerns to Dana at the store and skipping attempts to reach their Head Office. I have a feeling that if it can be done, Dana can make it happen.
In another furniture store, we looked and ordered a new set of power recliners last May 2021, they told us we would get it by July 2021 but it didn’t came and moved the delivery date in August but didn’t came again and we were told that it would come on December instead. We were very disappointed so thats when we decided that we cannot wait anymore so we cancelled it.So in September 2021 my mom and I went at Leon’s store Victoria branch and our experience was spectacular. It was our first time to visit the store and their staff are approachable and accommodating. We came to look for a new set of sofa that would fit the interiors of our house. Susan, whose an amazing agent, helped us. We shared her our frustrations from the other store and assured us that Leon’s would give us a great experience. She patiently accommodated us as we choose. Then we finally found it and we were told that we would get it no later than November because it will be shipped from another place and it will take time (which is fine for us). After almost 2 weeks we were told that our product is ready for delivery. We were amazed of how fast the transaction and service was. We got our sofa’s (power recliners) just in the same month we ordered it. Leon’s definitely exceeded our expectations.We are very satisfied of their service and we highly recommend this store.

I met Srima when she was at Sears. She and her hubby helped me out when a brand new fridge failed to operate. They brought me a bar fridge from their home at 8 pm! That was above and beyond service. I knew I had to find her at her new place of employment, Leon’s. She is exceptional at working with her customers!

The service in here was unreal. Basically didnt want our business and told us we had to carry out our own furniture explicitly several times, frustration from the staff member due to events beyond our control was apparent. Terrible customer experience.

The GF and I were on the hunt for a new fridge a while back and thats what drew us into the Leons - and what we found inside was way better than any appliance - I was surprised at how much I liked a lot of the furniture, not to mention the sales people, the layout of the store, the prices, and the overall feeling of the place. Pleasantly surprised. Though we did not end up making a purchase at that first visit, the really nice full length mirror I saw there did make an impression. Some days later after many discussions with the better half, back we went to Leons with the intent of buying that mirror - unfortunately it was nolonger on the floor being displayed. Then we met Sara, the most friendly and nicest sales girl I think that there is anywhere. She knew the mirror we were talking about and said that we could still order it, tho itd take four or so weeks to get it in. Done! I left Andreatalking with Sara while I went around and tested all the comfy chairs (which are nice too), and was struck that by the time we were leaving, it sure seemed like Andrea and Sara had been friends for years - really funny, but no matter as long as I get my awesome mirror. Then the pinnacle to this story (review) - Sara calls and tells Andrea that the mirror is in and that she will deliver it to us when she is done working for that day - and so she did! Talk about going above and beyond even the highest of expectations. She was so nice and store has such nice furniture that there is no doubt in my mind that we will be back for more, not to mention that I talk up Leons to anyone who will listen to me now. Thank you very much to Leons Furniture and to Sara.

I also ordered a specific color scheme for my bed side table and they were not able to deliver.Overall, I walked away happy.

Good luck trying to get what you purchased from here. No respect for people who have to take time off work to receive the deliveries and then drivers still can’t make it within the window that they have provided for you. What’s the point of a window if you can’t even be within it when you provide it. Expecting you to continue waiting and miss work. Very disappointing customer service and good luck getting a manager to actually call you back to “figure out” the situation.

With so many options, I was confused on which one(s) to choose, but I am thankful to Srima for getting me very good items at an attractive deal. Outright liars. Sales stated item was made in Vancouver but actually made in Ontario. Claimed 4 weeks and now its in Edmonton? Oddly, another 3 weeks until delivery? Its been 5 weeks in total already. What an absolute waste of time this place is. No apologies from sales staff and unwilling to make up for the bad service. Will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau.

My wife and I went mattress shopping and we decided to try Leon’s. let me start by saying we hate being bothered by sales people. Anyways we walked in and a really nice lady named Sara approached us asking if we needed help. We told her what we wanted and she could tell we needed no help so she told us to take our time trying all the mattresses and to find her if we needed help. It was a great experience. The delivery guys were awesome, they literally grabbed the old mattress and placed the new one in its spot and were gone in 3 minutes. Will definitely go back.
Very friendly and accommodating but high pressure. We went in to price out a mattress and couch, we were really happy to see that Leon’s had a great selection and decent pricing. Maybe we came in on the wrong day but we were told that all the sales and financing deals were ending today and that no deals similar would come up again. With the high pressure of the situation, ultimately we decided to just leave and won’t likely be back.

I had been to the Brick twice, bad service and selling junk in the clearance area, recliners not working, rips & tears etc.I realize they are in clearance for a reason BUT to me it was someones garbage. I seen a Leons ad on tv and so I headed there at Tolmie Ave in Victoria BC. I was met on my way in with a nice lady by the name of Srima. I was after a love seat recliner, she showed me around and even the clearance area. I seen one I liked and I said whats wrong with it? after the BRICK experience! Nothing she said, WHAT? Its just out of stock, customers did want it, then wanted a darker colour, as newer ones are different & darker. She was great to deal with. I felt I got a deal and she made a sale. She called the delivery guy Paul. It got delivered next day at noon and he took away my old love seat.P.S Second Brick day the guy filially did talk to me after 10min, he sounded to me he was having a bad day.They were having a tent sale and things were moved around from when I was there two week ago. I said I wanted to see some love seat recliners he just shrugged and flung his arm and over in that area. I turned and walked out.So from now on, any of my household needs I will head to Leons.Thanks Srima for the great service.

My old sofa was wearing out, so I made the rounds of the furniture stores in victoria, and wound up at leons.......I found the sales people to be friendly, genuine and knowledgeable, sara and especially joe.....I found such a good deal, that I bought two sofas !!I highly recommend leons, check them out !!

Have had nothing but problems with this company. The sales staff don’t seem to understand colour skews. 4 different sales staff continued to order the wrong coloured couch. Eventually it was determined the colour didn’t exist for this set.Ordered a table. They said it would take 6 weeks. After 8 weeks they said it hadn’t even shipped yet. When it did finally come in, it was chipped and cracked.Needless to say, i will never again order from here again.

Srima did the research to help us acquire appliances that fit our dimensional constraints and all the functionality of full size gear. Another purchase from Leons, another big let down. Sara is terrible. She is all talk and promises to be better than the last sales agent. She said to call her if there are any problems. Then, when there is a problem, she denies it and acts like nothing is wrong. No apologies, nothing. False promises, all to get the sale and then they ditch you.I dont know why I ever gave Leons a second chance, as it took over 6 months to get the lift top table the first time in which I was never updated on the progress of the shipment.Theyll ask me to contact customer care now... classic...in which management will never respond and the situation wont be rectified. Its laughable. Its like a bots manage customer service complaints, but atleast bots reply.Never shopping here again, I dont want to be disappointed a third time.

Decent deal on the furniture. But they dont seem interested in honoring the price match guarantee. They dont do the refund in store, they put in a request to some central office. And their online chat staff arent connected with this central office. They cant give a time frame for the refund. It has been a few weeks, and nobody can give me a time frame on this. Frustrating!

I like to specially thank Karen, the staff at Leons in Victoria.I was very disappointed at the delivery service of my new mattresses today as the guys refused to take away my old ones which were covered by the plastic bags I received but not all sealed with tape. It would only take me a minute or two to tape them, as I happened to the tape in my eye sight. But the two delivery guys went on and on on how they cannot waste a minute on delivery and they have 16 scheduled runs today and if they stopped for me, they would be late. The time they vented would be enough time for me to tape the bags. After they let out of that they wanted to say, they just asked me to call Leon as they were just a 3 party, and they ran out.I called Leon and Karen answered the phone. She quickly got a whole picture of whats going on without any inpatient and didnt judge who was at fault. She just worked on arranging for another pick up of my old mattresses. Very efficient and no compliant. She made me felt I was a valued customer. She saved my day!The same delivery guys came back, and this time, all they did was asking if I taped the bags. Not greeting, no eye contact, and some bad attitudes. Left again, this time like a wind. Hope I never have to run into them again.

Just got back from Leons VIP sale. We bought an LG Stacked Washer/Dryer(WKEX200HBA). Its a great showroom and the associate Subham was very helpful, friendly and applied no pressure. Im very certain he gave me the best deal that could be got today anywhere on this Appliance. 5 Stars for Leons and 5 Stars for Subham too.
All is good except they offer free local delivery everywhere but bc they think were rich i guess? and having to wait 8 weeks for delivery because of covid they should wave the delivery fee anyways other then that the no tax event is excellent and thier furniture is good quality and very classy

We ordered/paid for a couch last Nov. 2020... It is now the middle of February 2021.... They never called to notify us of delays.
The whole experience was not good at all, the first time the salesman forget to propose me the box, which later I know is a must for the type of bed I selected, then I went to the store to buy the box, but the salesman proposed me a wrong box!! ( he should propose me a lower box to match my mattresses!).And during the delivery for the queen size mattress+Supporting frame, the frame was wrongly delivered with a king size frame.For the delivery of the table, the pad ( on the surface of the table leg) was missing.Lastly for the head board, the hole for the supporting beam is blocked by melt metal, an obvious quality issue!
After a couple of weeks shopping for furniture and being treated well by salespeople I had the misfortune of finding what I was looking for at Leons. No one greeted me when I entered. No one acknowledged me as I wandered thru the store. I waited at least 5 minutes beside the item I wanted to buy when a man almost walked passed me. I asked if he worked there (no name tag) he said yes. It deteriorated from there, but I wanted the item so we completed the sale. So a big thumbs down to the salesman with icky hands.Thumbs Up to the delivery guys. Total professionals who knew what they were doing and had great smiles.
I went on Nov 23rd looking for a couch for my first time moving out. I went in with a couch in mind, after not being helped for around 20 minutes, finally managed to flag someone down and asked if they had the couch I was looking for. She told me they did not have the couch I wanted and that it wouldnt be available till January. She showed me a few other couches and after finding one that I liked, she checked to make sure I would be able to get it by Dec 15th for move in day. She confirmed that the couch was in stock and would be available for delivery then, so I purchased the couch. After not hearing back about confirming delivery date like she said, I called tonight and was told that the couch would not be delivered until the end of January. Its frustrating being told one thing then not contacted if something changes, do they expect me to go over a month without a couch?
I bought a microwave here on Saturday. Took it home and cabinet installer said it wouldnt work, so I returned the unopened box to the store on Monday. They said there are absolutely no refunds on anything in the store. My receipt did not say final sale anywhere. They have Leons does not sell on an approval basis on the receipt and they say this means final sale. Just know going in that you must be absolutely sure before you purchase here. Seems like a pretty shady way to hide the Final Sale on EVERYTHING in the store. They said they were going outside their policy to give me a store credit for the amount of the microwave, but it wasnt a gift card, just a credit on file with them.
Went to Leons yesterday to help my boyfriend pick some furniture. Sara took her time helping us and turned what I thought would be a tedious errand into a fun afternoon. She was very knowledge and friendly.
Ive now purchased a sofa, a bed, a mattress, and a night table from Leons Victoria. Prices that are tough to beat for the quality and excellent customer service (ask for Srima)!

WHERE IS MY COUCH !!! I recently moved across the country and I needed to buy multiple pieces of furniture, after looking around for a smaller sized sofa we found one at Leons. The colour wasnt what I wanted but the salesman insisted that bc the couch was made in Canada and already at the Edmonton distribution center we would have it in 4 to 6 weeks instead of the 3-4 month wait for American made products. It is now 9 weeks later and I still DO NOT have my sofa. We have called the store three times and every response was It should be here next week Leons has now offered us free delivery but I now worry that will add another week or month to our already excessive wait time. I have no reason to believe that this company cares about the customer or their satisfaction once they have your money. Buyers beware !!Just for reference I also purchased a dining table from Dodds and had it the next day, a platform bed and mattress from Amazon that arrived within 12 days (from the states) and a coffee table and end table set from Ashley Furniture and picked those up 13 days later.

Great experience at the Victoria store from Greg the salesperson as well as the desk staff. Delivery went smoothly, and when one of the drawers seemed to stick they quickly sent someone out to see if it needed repair and they ended up replacing the entire dresser because of internal damage that I hadnt even noticed. The replacement dresser arrived promptly as well so the switch was painless. They also honoured their 60-day lowest price guarantee so I got over $500 refunded on the bedroom set from holiday sales that I noticed weeks after the purchase. All communication was quick, efficient, proactive, and friendly. I will say that a different salesperson on a different visit for mattresses was extremely pushy and would not let up, but everyone else has been fabulous.
We ordered our sofa on September, 1/20/ We were told 6-8 weeks but paper work said 10 weeks. It is now December, 10th/20. We received 2 pieces out of 4 on December, 1st/20. We were told the remaining 2 pcs will be here in December,/20. We called December, 10,/ for an arrival date & are now told sometime in January, 2021. We have phoned several times & left messages with staff but no one calls back.We also ordered a Dyson Vacuum at the same time as sofa. We were told 7-10 days. We kept calling with no call back. We had to go down to Leons to actually get answers. We were told 2 weeks so in total we waited 5 weeks for the Vacuum.So far we have waited 14 weeks, possibly 20 when its all said & done.We do take into account that shipping would be slower b/c of Covid-19.
I had written a 5 star review 3 years ago about having such a great experience with my couch purchase. I have now bought my first house and because my experience was so good last time I would be a repeat customer. Bad idea. I bought a bedroom set on October 2nd and requested a specific delivery date of November 28th. I have contractors, moving guys and carpet installers all lined up after I get possession of the house. So it was VERY important that I get that date so it does not interfere with everything else I had lined up. When I bought it, they said they didnt have all the items in stock so I would have to call two weeks ahead to confirm for delivery. This made me nervous as when I bought my couch years ago, it took 6 weeks to get delivered. I called today and not only can I not get the original delivery date I had requested, but they can only deliver on the 18th, which wont work because I dont have possession of the house yet, or second week of December. I even called at the beginning of November and they assured me that the items werent in yet, so I would have to call back. Flaw in the system! Why cant I have a delivery date set when I buy it to begin with????
Back at the beginning of August we ordered a couch from Leon’s for our new house. We were told that it was in stock in the Canadian warehouse so would be ready for us to pick up in about a month (on September 5th). We had not heard from Leon’s since we placed our order, so on September 4th we called to confirm that we were set for pick up tomorrow. We were then told that they do not have them in stock and that the we would be waiting till November... which then quickly became the end of November. Still having not heard from them we called again on November 24th. This time we were told the couch would be arriving to their store Friday December 4th and would be scanned into the warehouse that afternoon and we could come pick it up. We called around 3pm on December 4th only to be told that it’s been delayed AGAIN and would not be ready till the following Friday. And this point this is the second time we have had a trailer arranged ready for us to pick it up and no advance communication about the delay, so we asked to speak to the manager who then offered us free delivery for Tuesday December 8th. We understand that shipping delays are due to covid however the lack of communication was ridiculous.Well finally we got our couch today and due to covid we had to install ourselves (totally understandable) HOWEVER we were given no instructions on which legs go where (there were 3 different types of legs) no predrilled holes and not enough screws.Overall this full experience with Leon’s has been horrible - love the couch but I do NOT recommend shopping at Leon’s as the communication and customer service was awful!
Not worth ordering from and will not be purchasing anything else from you. New Dining Set ordered table and chairs arrived a few weeks later at Canadian Thanksgiving which was fine but table ended up being damaged when opened. Needed then to order a replacement and original bench seat was meant to show up early November. So now start of Dec, phonecalls to check and drop into store kept being told next Friday its on a truck and was in a different warehouse everytime I spoke to someone. Still no idea when my bench seat will show up as well as the replacement table. Horrible delivery timelines and honesty in shipping. If I had known that would take 3 months or longer to get complete set I would have not ordered from them. If my actual complete undamaged purchase isnt received by Xmas they can have it back and I will get my money back to buy a something complete and available somewhere else.
I found the price to quality unappealing. So few customers and staff did not even ask if they could be of assistance.
Been waiting 1.5 months for an order that I was told would be in in 2 weeks. No updates. Had to email them and received a phone call from someone I could barely understand saying something something 1 or 2 weeks. So I guess Im not getting my order for 2 months now. Not the first time Ive had garbage service from Leons but it will be the last.Updat. Was Just told its on a truck from Edmonton. I asked, so it should be here in a week if its on a truck from Edmonton. She said, one or two weeks. Why would it take two weeks if its on a truck already. Well apparently it takes 1 week to get here, then up to a week to process it at the Delta warehouse. So Ill update when I actually get it but Im not holding my breathe.Update. Got my item BUT GUESS WHAT!!! Parts missing YEAAAAAAH!!!!!

Went there look for stoves found the stove we wanted they said i had to pay for the stove in full then wait 2 weeks for it who does that so if they go under your out over a thousand dollar i dont thing i will shop there again
I bought my 55in Samsung TV from Leons, every now and than there was no sound. I had such a difficult time with the company Samsung, I decided to call Leons and what a wonderful experience, not only did they replace the TV, they made arrangements to come to my home pick up the old TV and bring the new TV and set everything up for me. I also ended up buying a couch, a carpet and redid my whole living room. They made it so much fun, they also share the excitement of me redoing a room in my home.Thank you Leons

So as we were shopping around for couch sets. We were already going to pick a set that was on sale and the sales lady assured us its in stock at the store. Lies lies lies..we proceeded to put money on the set to lock the price and then she says they have order it. I asked her..you told us its in the warehouse here. She realized shevwas caught in a lie. Purchased furniture online, they say visa company Desjardins is the one who double charged me. Made me LATE for paying rent as they took 1600$ out of my account twice!!!!! NOW I HAVE TO PAY A LATE FEE for rent, I still do not have my money back. I tried to return my purchased that hasnt even been shipped yet and they are refusing. They have given me more stress then anywhere else Ive shopped. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN.

Like a disreputable used car dealership. I declined the protection plan on the inexpensive sofa so the sales person made me wait for five minutes. They returned and offered a significant discount on the protection plan. I didnt want it but I took it just to get the deal over with. Now I get a call saying I need to make arrangements to have someone come over and spray the couch, or the warranty is voided? I have to miss work to get my couch sprayed? Not happening. Ok you got me with your crummy spray scam. A big $30. Hope you enjoy it.
Be wary of their zero return or exchange policy. We were unhappy with our purchase once we got it out of the box at home but found out that they will not accept exchanges or returns so we are stuck with it. They are quite happy to hound you in the store and make a sale and are totally OK with unhappy customers as long as the money is in their pockets. You better be sure you are 100% happy with your purchase if you shop here.
My boyfriend and I are getting our first place together and we wanted to get a new couch. We were very excited and spent all day going place to place looking. Our last stop was Leons. The moment we walked in we were greeted by Elaine, she was very friendly and helpful! She offered us a hand but we declined as we wanted to look around first. Then we found the perfect couch! We waived her over and she quickly came to our assistance and answered all of our questions. We then decided that we wanted to get a coffee table as well. We told her exactly what we were looking for and she showed us around the store showing us different options, then we found the right one! She was efficient and knowledgeable. We werent moving for another 6 weeks and they held our items and delivered it. She then let us know about the 60 day policy; if it goes on sale after we purchase it, we will receive the difference. About a month later I noticed that both items went on sale, I phoned them up and without hesitation they credited back my Visa over $300!!! They even followed up to let me know when the credit went through. We were more then impressed and by far the best experience furniture shopping weve ever had!Thanks Leons!
Dont buy from here. They may be great sales people but they have the worst return policy ever. I do not recommend them at all.
Staff are nice enough but there is absolutely no accountability at this place. Save your time and money, this place doesn’t care about anything but your wallet.
