I have been hard-pressed to find a natural foods store to rival those Ive found back in my Brooklyn neighborhood. Needless to say, I was astounded by the layout, and diverse choice of goods offered by.Prices comparable to a Whole Foods or Wegmans natural foods section, I was happy with the ease I was able to find things, and the tough choices I had to make among various brands. Im not in town long, so glad I found it.

I love this store. I have been here several times and the staff is always super helpful. There are tons of loose herbs, supplements and other herbal products to suit anyones needs. There have been some supply issues since the pandemic began, but thats to be expected. Just check back on occasion!

Better lighting is needed youre not able to see if the place is open and when inside youre cant read labels or ingredients.

The customer service was very good. The male manager actually walked us out, thanked us for coming, and offered me suggestions for what I was looking for. The cashier went and got me a product I had forgotten to put in my basket. The store is lovely and I enjoyed having the experience of a store like this in the city. I found some great things! I wish it were closer to me, but I will make the trip again.

Most places in this area are not what youd consider reasonably priced. Penn herb has a vast collection of dried herbs, teas,roots and other homeopathic goods in small, inexpensive pouches(also larger bulk sizes). Its a great way to try new things without spending a fortune. I could spend hours (and all of my money) perusing the specialty groceries, natural beauty products and anything else you could want to improve your health/lifestyle. Staff area also very friendly and helpful without hovering. Very calming environment

Has an impressive selection of herbs, I found everything I needed for an herbal infusion I was making. Only downside is they come prepackaged and for making products buying in bulk is a much preferred option as it allows you to get only the amounts you need, because while the prices seem competitive enough, these herbs still tend to be pricey. Ill be back though, as I havent found a better stocked supplier. Staff was very nice.

I go there 2-3x a month. Great place & staff. Good for all my herbal teas and supplements.However! I think know matter how your purchase Penn Herb products either from there stores or online you still accumulate points!

I started going to this wonderful store in 1990. It has always been outstanding. After moving away 15 years ago I strayed to other suppliers...realizing that I was dissatisfied but still looking. Lately I decided to just go online and order the products I need. I am so glad to see that the reconstruction of the store is complete and upon my next trip to Philly it will be on my must visit list. Congratulations 💯!!!

I remember when Penn Herbs was just a little corner store. I use to go there for everything.Now its become so more detailed and up to date. It was my go to store in the late 60s tillthe 90s. I must start going back. Wow how its GROWN

Firs time going here! Walked in it smelled SO GOOD! Staff was SO FRIENDLY! Told her what I had, answered all my questions, and boom! helped me pick out herbs I needed for my condition. Then I browsed around on my own to see more of what they offer! The herbs are reasonable! I started off small the small ones are between 2-3$ a pack! They have food, and other amazing things! When I checked out the guy asked did I have a member card I said no, he signed me up now I have my own card! Will DEFF be going again! This is the REAL medicine! I love the fact that I can make my own tea from herbs! Thank you Penn Herb!

This store is a witchs dream! So many herbs, roots, and oils and VERY affordable. One of the only things I miss about Philly since moving away.

Penn Herb Co is gorgeous! The serene environment, well kept building and easy parking make it ideal for my healthy odds and ends. I can always find products here that I cant find anywhere else and the employees are always willing to help. Aside from being the friendliest people ever, they also are super knowledgeable about the products! I cant wait for my next visit.

Great selection. Clean store. Staff is helpful. Parking is horrendous.Went there yesterday. It was impossible to get a space, and we had to park in a questionable spot in order to come here. Been here several times before. Same situation.Any problem you have, they have several immediate solutions. This is very comforting Let them help you. It doesnt take long to take this large store with so many things an be then immediately your focused on an item thats recommended. This beats the local CVS where there is no support. I commend them for there efforts and thank them.Some things recommended have helped me. The prices are reasonable. They have a rewards program, it helps to be a member is free of charge.

Penn Herb Company is a health food store with a large selection. This isn’t your average health food store. It is modern and bright which makes it more consumer-friendly and very inviting. Think health food store meets Sephora and Whole Foods. Very friendly and helpful staff. A ton of products. We came to buy herbs for loose leaf tea and left with a lot more. Success!

Great place for herbs, I originally thought some of the non organic products had fillers but I just found out that they have recipes from the original Houseman Brothers Herb store and I am elated!

Ive been coming/going to Penn Herb for many years and seldom have they not had what I wanted. Incidently, the renovations are great (i know Im late complementing)!!

Parking here is a challenge but the variety of herbs make it worth the trip if you are in the area. They also do a lot of mail order and the choices on the website are even better. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have more than just herbs, there are lots of essential oils and plenty of the things you need for brewing tea etc.

Cute store. I was surprised by the large selection of herbs they sold. I was just looking for sesame oil, but they did not have it. If the staff had more training on the natural products carried by the store, Im sure everyone would benefit. However what they lacked in knowledge they made up for with helpfulness and good customer service.
