Very impressed by the selection and staff. I never expected to find so many things I needed beyond basic hardware & diy materials. They carry paint, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, bird feed and gardening supplies to name a few. Also had the most handsome cashier. Very happy to have tried here before taking the trip to Lowes. Also very nice cafe a few buildings down, what a location. Cant wait to come back.

Went in to get a spare key for my house and they got it done in like 2 minutes. their keys are perfect (unlike those machines at W*lmart)

Last week, after 20 years of great relationship with this great neighborhood store, we had a glitch. Well, and this is how you recognize the difference between a corporate and a smaller owned retail shop, the owner reached at me corrected the glitch in a very professional matter and I am so glad to continue my shopping there.

Very unhelpful and disinterested in knowing your needs and correct tools. The staff here actually recommended the wrong thing and told me that I’d “get away with it”. Well, I didn’t, and I’ve wasted time, money, and did a poor job on my project. They were also rude when I asked questions and were visibly upset at my presence. Not a great way to treat people coming to you for help.

This is a lovely city hardware store! I havent popped in for a while and was pleasantly surprised to see the updates to the interior. It seems much bigger inside now that things are rearranged.Throughout the pandemic many of us have become first time (or better) plant parents and a lot of local city stores are out of things like planters and potting soil on a regular basis. This store was fully stocked! Looking forward to seeing if they get live plants/seeds in the summer months.

Bought an hinge under an employee recommendation, the hinge wasn’t the right one. Brought it back, tried to find the right one, they didn’t have it! They refused to give the money back, smirking at me. I left the hinge, never got my money. The bearded employee seemed to not give a ….!

As soon as I entered I was greeted by a wonderful sales associate. He helped me with everything I needed and if they didnt have it he looked up where I could find it. What a wonderful experience. No hassle great customer service.

This is a place that truly cares about its customers. I called one day to see if they could cut a piece of lumber for me -- I brought it by, they did it right away and when I offered to pay, they said it was on the house. That kind of good will means a lot, and Ive been back to the store as a result!

This is place to go when you need something and aren’t quite sure what. The super friendly employees have helped me figure out what kind of bolt I needed, and what size trim. The store is small, but densely packed with pretty much everything hardware/household related. I have no idea how the people who work there always know exactly where things are, but they do!

I have shopped here many times and have always received excellent service. Most recently I came in needing a part to finish installing a sink faucet. The owner personally helped me find a part that would work, he even interrupted his coffee break to help me! These people really know their inventory and are knowledgeable and friendly! Shop small, shop local.

Great gem in the neighborhood! When working on a project and I need something I make a quick run to the store to pick up what I need at a good price. Incredibly helpful staff. I went in with a vague idea of a DIY project I was working on. Multiple staff members were quick to assist with different options, potential costs, and helpful tips without any pressure to buy. The store is well stocked and even has a selection of lumber!

Very helpful. I brought in my bike pannier yesterday after a couple screws had fallen out. One of the guys behind the counter helped me quickly find all the specific nuts and bolts that I needed to fix and reattach it.

The gentleman that serviced me answered all my questions and was very patient. He educated me on how my needs can be met and found me the most cost efficient products.

Amazon has nothing on this place. There is absolutely no replacement for a small business like this. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Ive been completing a house project for the past couple weeks and have visited this store many times. Every time I walk in they ask me what I need help with. Without fail they assess my needs and provide me with exactly what I need in less than 2 minutes. The store is small but somehow still has almost anything you will need for common household repairs/projects. To top it off, everything is CHEAP. Prices beat out large department stores by a long shot. This place does not exist to maximize profits, it exists because they love what they do and they enjoy serving the surrounding community.

These guys are super helpful and manage to pack lots of useful stuff in that store. Everything from light bulbs to shelving to garden supplies! I walked in, a little overwhelmed after moving, asking for help and they were great. They helped me find everything I need and Ill be back soon with measurements for a few more things I need. Really glad to have these guys right up the street.

The best hardware store in center city, hands-down. It seems they have crammed an entire Home Depot into 16-by-50 foot space. They have everything. The employees are very helpful and as friendly as can be. What more could you want?

This is an excellent hardware store, theyve survived here for over 20 years. They have a little of everything and serve the community well with friendly neighborhood staff. Their prices are on the high side compared to the Depot or Lowes, but you cant beat walk-in convenience and knowledgeable staff. I would go here first rather than drive down to the big boys anytime. I see such stores as they place to go for parts to fix things [ most common!], while the big hardware stores are for projects [uncommon].

The store manager was so helpful and patient with me. He helped me to solve my problem and refunded a part I didnt need without hesitation.

I called in advance to see if they carried a specific product. I live a ways away and didnt want to waste my time walking down if they didnt carry the product. On the phone they said yes, we have it! And the guy said he checked to make sure. Yet, when I get there, I found that they carry no such product. I dont appreciate a business of liars. Wasting my time.

Unbeknownst to me at the time, I had left it at 10th Street Hardware after making a purchase.Owner Steve DeShong then went above and beyond in attempting to find and contact me with the limited information he had available, and ended up stopping by my home in person today to drop it off! I was floored.10th Street Hardware has great selection, staff who are always friendly and helpful, and honest ownership whose actions speak for themselves.Highly recommend!
