Love this place!! Everything smells so wonderful. I always order online but finally came to the Chelten store (I remember when they were on Broad and Erie). Organized, bright, inviting-just a great vibe. Black owned too 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾✊🏾✊🏾. I got whipped shea butter and a scrub. This will last me awhile and the quality is great-definitely well worth the price.

Everything was amazing until the soap I actually went to buy......went missing. It was one bar left and one of the employees put the soap at check out. It ended up with someone elses order, and it was gone. It must be a top seller. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I love this store. I have been a fan of their products for a while now and Im glad I finally got to go in person to the store. The decor is beautiful, everything is well lit and very organized. The staff were all very sweet and really helpful. They have tubs of beautifully made butters so that you can create your own if you want to. I recommend Yadain products to everyone. I have always loved this place. I use the eczema body wash and lotion for my son. Ive been using it since he was about 2 years old and it has healed his skin. I use their other body washes, lotions, body butters, shampoos, conditioners, and face washes. I see some concerns about the grape seed facial wash burning their skin. It did the same for mine but I assume I am allergic to something in it and never bought it again. I dont think its fair to leave a poor review. All products are handmade so I understand the store policy for returns. Staff is always friendly, and polite. But anyway I am running low so I will be stopping by again soon.

The young lady was very knowledgeable about the products. She was also kind. However the guy there seemed to be high on something. He made me very nervous. Glad my husband was with me otherwise I would have walked right out.

For years I’ve suffered from bad eczema. I had a child who was born with the same issues . I’ve tried allll over the counter products and medicines. Nothing has worked as well as these products! I believe in this products so much I had my sons pediatrician look into it and now has samples in his office because he liked it so much. Thank you Yadain for having my son finally have a chance to have some smooth and good smelling skin.

I just experienced the worst service EVER at this business. They sent me a faulty product over the summer with zero scent and I was sent an email by the BRAND MANAGER Aiesha promising two free products whenever I could make it to the store because of the inconvenience! I finally was able to make it to the store today because I drove FROM BALTIMORE where I live and because they failed to send me some “code” they said I needed they turned me away even as I presented them with the emails that THEY SENT ME. I’m highly upset! This is piss poor service from a company I certainly didn’t know expect that from. Honor your word when you tell a customer something. Because I will certainly honor my word and cease referral for this company ASAP.12/20:Update to edit my review based on the companies response because they still don’t seem to get it. I was NOT at the store seeking a refund AND I did contact the company within 14 days according to company policy. That’s how I got the email for the two free products in the first place. Because I contacted customer service within the 14 days and the older gentlemen I spoke with on the phone when I called told me it was no problem and he would send me the email with proof of being able to get the two free products as a way of making things right because of me reviving the faulty product with my original order. He then let me know that since I’m in Baltimore and the store in in Philly, I could come into the store whenever and pick up those two free products. And then I went into the store and it became an issue. your response below still shows that you all didn’t have understanding of the situation. Clearly. I wasn’t trying to return beyond the return period. I was simply trying to receive what was promised to me BY your company.

Black owned business usually gets a bad rep for poor customer service, however, this store has been the exception to the stereotype. Their service and products, although a little pricey, is WORTH IT!!. Their products are of high quality and last for a long time (at least for me). The store smells so good when you walk in 😊! Kudos to the owners and staff of these stores. The management should conduct trainings to small businesses on how to offer and maintain excellent customer satisfaction. This was the first time I have visited one of their properties and been disappointed. I have been supporting since they opened in Philly and continued when I moved to Georgia at their Jonesboro location. I went into the Philadelphia store and they had hardly no inventory of whipped butters, scrubs, etc. After being in there for about 30 mins a worker informed me that they are trying to get rid of the inventory left in the store because they will be remodeling soon. I was meeting someone there after talking you guys up and was so embarrassed that I told her to come all the way up there for nothing. Please communicate with your loyal customers more efficiently.

I bought some items from Yadain today. The Customer Service was excellent. The employee that assisted me was very professional and knowledgeable of the products. There were a couple of items I wanted to purchase that weren’t in stock and the employee was very apologetic. I told him that those items were sold out because those were hot selling items. I shopped at Yadain in the past and the products, prices, and, customer service was outstanding as I remember👍❤️

Overall they have good products made of natural ingrediants of high quality. Unfortunately their price increase over the past two - three years, has impacted purchasing choices. As a result, my purchases have increased towards buying items as gifts vs regular personal use. Instead seeking other sources. I have purchased soaps, hair products, body sugar scrubs, lotions and body cremes. For daily use, I primarily bought the whipped and therapeutic Shea butters, which have decreased in package volume as their price has increased. The same for the body scrubs. Lately over the past year or so, I have also experienced some of the scented wipped butters to have too high of an ingredient concentration; which was remedied by diluting the product with unscented shea butter.

I love the all natural body butters and whipped Shea butters. I only wish they had an SPF 30 or higher butter. There are organic SPF options. Therse are the only products I use on my skin.

I love the body butters & scrubs and now so does my son🙄 Ive placed orders and I usually wait a week or so to pick up from warehouse in Philadelphia. Its usually a short wait due to the high demand. I dont mind because the smell inside the warehouse is intoxicating. The staff are very helpful and attentive.

I love shopping in the store but during this past sale I decided to shop online. I placed an order on November 9th for four items. When I called I was assured that one of my items was out of stock and my order would be mailed out. I sent emails with no response. Today ( December 5th) I received a box containing only one item. Im not understanding what is happening here but Im not happy.Update: they sent the items I had not received over night and were super helpful to make sure I got my order.

I’ve been a customer for about a year now and I absolutely love the body butters and natural coconut oil. I usually get really dry skin in the winter but not this winter! Yadain’s body butter helps my skin maintain moisture and shine that last throughout my work day. My boyfriend loves the coconut oil for his beard and I use it for my hair and skin. They have a customer for life.

I hate to post this but I want to be honest about the shipping issue I had. I am in MD so I am not able to make it to their PA location, so I placed an order online for 3 body butters. Long story short I had issues communicating with the team as I tried to seek clarity on my order and my package came after a month of ordering. I see a lot of comments on their IG page from other customers following up on missing orders as well so it is clear to see that this is an issue. While I wasnt thrilled with the scents when I finally got them (fresh linen and lavender), I want to support this black business but I would rather wait until I make to their physical location in PA than to order with them online again.

I placed an online order on Aug 19th. After sending two emails to their customer support inbox ([email protected]) on 8/31 and 9/8 requesting a refund (after NOT receiving any shipment confirmation up to that point) - I literally have not heard back from them until now, October 8th, in which I finally received a shipping confirmation. Seriously, you ship to me over 6 weeks later??? I NEVER received one message inferring it was on backorder or out of stock. There was NO communication at all after my transaction on 8/19 until now. I don’t care how authentic the product is, you cannot afford to cut corners with customer service nor can you just outright ignore customer inquiries to a business email. It feels like a deceptive business practice at this point. This experience was absolutely horrible. Sad thing is, I’m a returning customer, but they will NEVER get my hard earned money again. It isn’t valued here.
