I come here sometimes just to get gas and the fries. There was a miscommunication about my order number so I was going back to my car to find my slip because I only had my receipt. There was one lady who came out of the store looking for me with my order. I thoroughly appreciated the customer service because she definitely went above and beyond her job duties. That was the best customer service I’ve received in a very long time and I’m so grateful 😊

Nahmire and Tyhasma were AWESOME! Super friendly right off the bat. Went over and beyond to meet my needs and I couldn’t be happier especially just moving to the area and this being one of my favorite quick stops!

My husband and I went to royal farms for the very first time. When we came home we noticed the stickers with the preparing times on the sides and soups. On every container there was a sticker over an older sticker. The mashed potatoes were supposed to be prepared an hour ago. The sticker under that sticker said it was prepared two days earlier. Same with soups, chili and mac and cheese...

Could be Worse, could be better

Everyone including the cashier have dirty uniforms on. I place my order then was told that it would be 10mins more before my chicken would be done. I waited 20mins only to be told that the extra ten mins that i waited for my chicken they ran out and I would need to wait another 5mins for one of my breast.smh which I already paid for. I was offer a thigh instead. I will NEVER go back.

I purchased chicken today around noon or a lil be4 and the chicken was stale tasted like yesterdays chicken that was tried to warmed up .. i brought 12 pieces the chicken was so dried out small extra extra extra crispy yuk

This place is so ghetto I live a few blocks away. I will never go or use this gas station ever again. I had a problem with a gift card my son purchase there was nothing in the pouch and literally was told there was no manager around and was actually told off because of my parenting because I let my kid go in by himself he’s 11.

Whats the point of having a kitchen if youre not going to use it I go to any other Royal Farms all the chicken is stocked up for the sandwiches are stocked up you come to this place nothing the soda machine has been down for the since theyre open where worst Royal Farms in Philadelphia understaffed nobody cares no food is never done is the last time I remember coming here. The owner of this store should be ashamed.

This was our first trip to Royal Farms. We each had a chicken box. The chicken was good, but not as good as Popeyes. I ordered fries and a biscuit and my husband ordered mashed potatoes and a biscuit. My husband got fries and we got two cups of gravy?? They microwaved the biscuits and they were like styrofoam. The fries looked great, but they tasted like old oil and they were soggy. The gravy was right out of a can. If we go again we would just get the chicken.

My first visit here was nice. However, my visit today was substandard. The bathrooms and lottery machine were out of order(not sure what the staff is using), there were signs posted everywhere acknowledging that there were no fries in the building. The shelves were short stocked as if they were awaiting a shipment. The staff is polite.

Not great.. its almost like self-service but not. All the food was cold, the so called fries were greasy, and I did not get all of my order. No biskets. Had to get my own bag from the front of the store to carry out our food. A few of the staff was pleasant but some seemed like they could care less. Might not return. But the chicken does taste good.

Why is it soooooo hard to say: HELLO, when youre checking out?? Managers should really screen their employees for polite and complementary attitudes.

First of all I don’t understand how a place like this can shut the kitchen down so early and then have hot food in the display right in front of you but the person at the register is screaming at me we’re closed kitchen is closed kitchen is closed she must’ve said it four times I heard her very clearly the first then we bought several milkshakes which you’re supposed to get a card for so that you can get a free one after your sixth well we bought for him and when I asked for my card she said that she couldn’t give it to me because I needed to get it before I paid for the milkshakes so they wouldn’t count but I could still get a card but I have to hold on and wait until she can fill it out for me which I found to just really be lacking you think that it’s part of her job to suggest that we get the card before paying

When I first started seeing them all along route 13 and 113 going to Virginia Beach, I used to stop and grab the potato wedges they have, and they are good, I used to get an order of them and they would fill the box, now if you go and get a family size they count out 7 fries and put them In the box, now they are kinda big but are you really serious and now I dont buy them anymore, story over

5 stars for customer service havent had a bad experience so far in my 4 or so times there knock on wood. My only gripe is you shouldnt smell bad grease upon walking into the store, thats a no no for any fast food establishment, its an indicator that the grease is not being changed as frequently as it should, other than that they good people ✊🏿✌🏿.

Ive visited Royal Farms in Maryland and was very impressed. Employees from Maryland should come to train the people in Philly.

Iv been to this royal farms several times .I live near by.The hot food is always cold..or they never have any hot food at all. Meaning never any chicken or fries .

I dont know why I keep trying the food here. I have been disappointed every time. They claim to have the best fried chicken. However the pieces are small and always dried out. My latest try was a spicy chicken bagel. The person making the sandwich didnt care much about what she was doing. She ran out of two condiments I had requested. It was too much trouble for her to get more from the back. She also failed to toast my sandwich. From now on I will only go to Royal Farms to buy gas.

Place is to dirty and employees are very rude WAWA 100% never again to this store. I heard chicken its pretty good so thats why I came for the 1st time and will be my last time.

My husband and I ordered tenders fries and usually it comes with a bread rollAfter receiving are chicken we notice the tenders were slightly burned but we decided not to take the drive back the royal farms and eat it like that but fries were cold then to top it off when we finally pull of the bread roll is had green mold and thats unacceptable I have pictures are proof they shouldnt be selling old stuff period

I would have given this location 5 stars but... today my husband and I go to gets some chicken & I wanted a slushee. I forgot to take a photo, but the front of the lid holder is filthy. It is brown & dirty. Royal farms please clean your store.

There were four to five employees there there was only one working hard and that was the guy who was preparing the food everyone else was just walking around the floor looks like its never been mopped theres a white girl does drinking coffee she put it in the microwave and took it back out and the lady who seems to be a manager the tallest one the biggest one you cant miss her hes touching the food without gloves this place is very unsanitary and they have no sense of urgency sorry if I have bad grammar but this ruined my morning I will not come back here again.

Oh my goodness, the chicken, wow, season and cooked well. Free ATM machine, I mean get your money out free, only your bank might charge you for miscellaneous fees, cause its not their ATM.

11/10/2018 I thought my luck might have changed so I bought 8 pcs of chicken and family fries. The fries was a large and chicken was cold and old. I want my money back.Updated 6-8-17 see bottom. 0 starsI love this chain store, from MD so I have eaten my share. Was so happy this location was going to be opening. First week fries 🍟 where just like I had remembered. But now 30 days in and already store staffing is getting lazy. I ordered a slider and fries and my sandwich that was just made was cold and fries where soggy. I paid for sour cream and onion and they forgot to put it on my fries. With the Philly soda tax on top, I think it maybe worth the trip down to ridley park location. Not happy with a store chain that I remember the employees always asking if I was willing to wait that would make me fresh fries. This sucks. I think the employees dont care, I seen a man and wife order food and wife said she was going to pay for food so man was inline and only paid for his other items and then wife got the hot food and both just walk out the door without paying for hot food because employees dont check for recipes.6-8-2017 got a family fries they gave me a large. I was so Jonessin for them I could not wait to get home so I started eating them. They where soggy not crispy and since I was driving started eating this rotten one that was cooked and still picked and put in my box. Discussing I will never go back again. Done.

Had a craving for chicken and it was the only spot that sold hot 8 pieces of chicken for 10 and they got cases of beer at 3 in the morning. You cant beat that with a bat conveniently next to the newly built highway and some of the cheapest priced gas around. Give it a try, if you got that crave like me, I know I did and loved it.

The friend chicken they serve there is outstanding in flavor and crunch. If you normally only order white meat pieces go ahead and try a dark meat cut. Thats where the real flavor is.

A true alternative to wawa. A very similar experience in many ways but they put there own spin on convenience stores. Wawa has their coffee but royal farms has chicken that could rival KFC. They arent a stop because they are close they are a destination.

Great place for chicken. Management should consider having more staff on Fridays. The store had beer that needed to be put away. There is dust on the sign above where the chicken is made. The televisions are dirty and the tables were filthy,three people working on a busy night.

It was EVERYTHING..I went for one piece of fried chicken ( a thigh) it was seasoned to Perfection, crunchy & juicy. I couldnt even wait to get back inside the car, I just had to bust open the box & bite the chicken. I walked around the store to look at the rest of their snacks... ....its a huge assortment of the best kinds of ice cream..Ben & Jerry + Hagen Daz, a wild assortment of flavored sun flower seeds, dozens of different kinds of chips., cheap wine & sparkling bubbly. This is totally the store you stop at for SNACKS. They even had Canada Dry green tea gin

I like this place during the day. At night, there are many unsavory characters who are intoxicated and a few druggies too. Im not a drinker but they do sell alcohol which is called a Bear Cave. Not sure when they stop at night selling alcohol. They have a lotto machine if you play numbers. They sell cooked foods for breakfast, different kinds of chicken meals and other fast foods. If you want to order food here you must order then come pick it up. I learned of this one night when my husband and I came in to pick something out to eat from their menu. They do not allow any dining in their business during covid. You have to take it out to eat. They have self service checkout too which is awesome. They sell different gift cards but you must purchase them by 10pm. They cant load any gift cards after 10pm. They also have restrooms. They are like Wawa but better.

Chicken is the best in the city and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The side orders are good but not wow good thats why I give it four stars. But the chicken when hot worth the price of admission

The pulled Chicken sandwiches are delectable!!! Personally I love the Chesapeake sauce, Old Bay seasoning, cheese, and bacon on mine whit a potato roll.... whoa man!!! But the options seem to be endless.

I just stopped into Royal Farms for gas, but based on what I saw upon entering the store, I definitely would like to return to try their food. They cook their own food, I observed fryers in their cooking area. It appears that the setup is similar to Wawas, except they have an indoor and outdoor seating area.The gas was priced competitively. I will provide an update once I go back.

This is not just a gas station. You can get breakfast sandwiches and lunch. I hear that the fried chicken is awesome. I enjoy the wide variety of coffee. It is very convenient to I-95 North and South.

It was really good fresh food they gave me. The employees were very polite to me and my family. I just feel the place could be a bit more clean for being so new.

The shakes here are wonderful. The app is cool allow you to win stuff and points. Just became member and adding points to the reward system. The fuel isnt bad and the price is always better than the closest gas stations.
