Beautiful shop full of very nice clothing, accessories, jewelry, and gift items. The owner is friendly and helpful.

Lovely little thrift shop. The prices are outstanding and there is a good mix of clothing and accessories for women. I have found some of my top thrift purchases here...most recently was a gown for a black tie event for $26. It looked like it had been worn once. The dry cleaning bill ended up being more than the dress. You can’t beat it!Shoutout to Kylie for all of her help last time I was there! She is super sweet and very accommodating. Thank you!

Item are curated to be in good condition and of course infused with style. Prices are not much above what you would find at goodwill.I found some wonderful work pants at about 1/4 the price of what I could expect to pay at department store. It is appropriately located on Sansom, the quietest street in center city.Can’t wait to go back and see what I may find. Only drawback is the hours are very limited.

Nice clothes for nice prices. Lady working there was very helpful and kind with with myself and the other customers in the store. Took time to explain to me how the pricing worked and was happy to help me get good deals.

The selection was lovely and I loved that they were having a pretty nice sale when I came. I was visiting the area with a friend and this place came up as a nice option.The customer service wasnt so great and thats a big part of the thrifting experience. The woman who helped me check out was rather rude and also gave me the impression that she expected me to steal.I wanted to look at the rings in the case. I couldnt see them that well due to the glare. MOST shops know this and usually offer to take the tray out of the case for you so you can look. I asked the woman of this was an option and instead of indicating whether it was store policy, she snickered slyly and said, No Im not taking the tray out for you. Her attitude to my response was really unexpected and I really wanted to get a ring (I collect older rings). Either way, that interaction was entirely rude and I didnt expect that, especially from her.I went to another local thrift shop and I was able to try on the rings to my discretion and purchased one that I loved.

You cant help but be charmed by the earnestness of the staff at Sophisticated Seconds. It smells like your grandmothers house, and the clientele does tend to be of the mature hat and glove wearing crowd, but there are some great classics mixed in throughout (St. John, Diane Von Furstenberg). And if you are in the market for satin elbow gloves, a beaded evening clutch or mesh veiled topper, this is the place.

I was told about this place by a three different people (separate conversations). This place is nice and neat making it very easy to browse their selection of mainly clothing and accessories.When I asked about a piece of jewelery the one woman was happy to check the inventory log to find the answer - That is amazing customer service.

This store ended up becoming one of my favorite stores throughout the city. The staff there is friendly and very welcoming, they even kept in eye out for clothes that I would like or was in my size.

I wish I could give zero stars. The items in the store are pretty unique and definitely well priced, but the customer service is DREADFUL. All of the women who work there are SO RUDE and CURSORY to the customers. Its a shame really, but I personally cant deal with such NASTY ATTITUDES.

The $25 bag sale (as in whatever you can fit in a bag for $25 total) is a great deal, especially if you get there early

Granite this store has amazing finds, the way they treat their younger customers is COMPLETELY disrespectful. I was asked where I put an article of clothing I did not want, when I RESPECTFULLY put it back where I found it. THEY ARE PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE and I still bought something because I dearly wanted it. FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your looking for the latest in mens and womans quality fashions without high department store prices than this is the place for you. The prices are reasonable and the staff is great. You can find top name brand items as well as hard to find pieces. I highly recommend shopping here.

Never left a review here before but1. This one woman who worked there was incredibly rude on multiple occasions.2. I consigned several items and when I called after the allotted period to collect $ they had no record of my clothes in the system. So much for that...

Stay away don’t greet people of color wanted to make a jewelry purchase but the women never asked can she help nor was I greeted when I entered the store

Joanne the Owner is an old nasty foul mouth miserable lady...I will never consign not worth the trouble..very low pay back and u have to wait 4 months to get your money ..and gets real nasty if u dare to ask about the money...there are better consignment shops that treat u better with respect!!
