This place IS open during the waterfront construction thats going on right now. The walkway into the storefront is a little hard to find but its there.The staff here were all really nice (and helped me find my way in when I called confused). The food was good, and lots of deli options plus coffee and smoothies. There is seating inside or you can take it to go and eat on the Race St pier.

It was the final stop on our picnic tour through the Amazeco company in Philly. Picked up our deli meats and had all of our ingredients from our previous three stops and ate in the outdoor seating area. I enthusiasticly endorse you to take one of those tours. You get some good food and and enjoy a walk through the city.

The food was delicious! We had the Chipotle Panini, and quesadillas. Simply amazing, the paninis were so flavorful! The quesadillas, they were different from the traditional ones Ive had but in a good way. I enjoyed the spicy yet tangy flavor they added to it and the fresh ingredients. We are going back tomorrow for breakfast and lunch. Also the staff were amazing, super friendly and accommodating. Did I mention that everything was made to order and fresh!

Great sandwiches. Tried the Cajun Turkey BLT (spicy) and the Yummy Salami really unique. Be aware these sandwiches are large.

Prosciutto, egg n avacado wrap was tasty but no chips or pickle. Odd right? Beverages are way overpriced.

This place was perfect for us to stop and eat breakfast the day we left Philly. We could walk from our hotel and it is very reasonably priced. There is a nice sitting area both inside and outside, with a nice view of the water at the indoor seating. The food was delicious!

We ordered a light dinner and dessert for an event at the Arden and they did a terrific job. All the food was fresh and tasty and the came on time and delivered everything as late as possible so it was very very fresh. Five huge gold stars.

Nice view of river and boats near Penns Landing. Coffee was good and they had almond milk available. A little small, but if you snag the seat by the big window you get the view of the river.

Stopped by on our river walk from Race Street Pier to Penns Landing and were so pleased to find a friendly place with inside and outside tables. Had a coffee and grabbed a banana for the walk. Super service friendly folks. Clean and sparkly. Yay a place on the waterfront.

I was in town for a conference and became a regular here. Salads were amazing and the people were all very helpful. Could not recommend this place more. If youre looking for a beautiful and quiet place to unwind, this is it.

Very clean small deli. I ordered the Italian Hoagie. The bread was excellent and all other ingredients were very fresh.They were also very polite.I recommend.

The chicken pesto panini was warm and served on hearty rosemary bread. The chicken corn chowder had full chunks of chicken with roasted corn, which was a nice touch. Both were delicious and Im glad to have a nice lunch place so nearby.

Very good exspresso is, you can actually taste it in your latte, which is saying a lot considering how bad most lattes are. Also, as someone who doesnt drink coffee or lattes on the regular, you can trust me when I say its good. I will flat out not drink bad coffee because it tastes so bad to me. If it is truly good coffee though, I will drink the hell out of it.

Beware!! Horrible! Rude to customers!! Very petty!!! I was visiting Philadelphia. Unfortunately, I decided to stop in the Waterfront Cafe & Deli to buy some water. As I entered I went to the restroom to wash hands first. As is my custom. Germs & food dont mix. The female Proprietor rudely confronted me. She said I have to buy something before I can use their restroom. I had to go really really bad, so l said OK, OK. When I come out in like two minutes. She stood there and waited angrily. Then said.....order! Like Im her child....I asked to buy a bottle of water. The fridge didnt have alkaline water. I looked and looked. They didnt have any. I told them I am willing to pay $4 a bottle for it. I asked when will you get some. The guy behind the counter said never!!! Then she yelled at me again for not buying anything else since they didnt have my water. If she was nice I wouldve bought breakfast for two. But they do not care about hospitality. Never have I been treated so rudely in before. I was even planning on having a meetup luncheon with my Executive MBA class & colleagues here but......heck NO!!!! Poor customer service! Bigots!! No wonder their restaurant is empty. Do not go their!!!! Unnecessary harassment. Ruined my happy morning!

Ive been trying all their salads, and so far all of them are great. Their hoagies are huge, the Jewish Hoagie must have weighed 3lbs. The service is super fast and friendly too. Plus, its always clean and tidy. I just wish I discovered this place sooner.
