Nice cafe, fast service. Tried the hot chocolate with the HandPies(apple pie and curry chicken). The dough was flaky and butter could be thinner though but still good. Flavors go well. Definitely coming back.

I had some friends recommend Thunder Mug as a nice, local coffee joint. The type of place you could pop in for your daily coffee.We wanted to try somewhere new and youre able to order online. We did an order of some coffee and pastries. I had an iced mocha, a cheese danish, and a croissant. Coffee was delicious. Nice chocolate flavor. The croissant and cheese danish had a perfect pastry. The cheese danish was a little light on the cheese, but so good! Definitely going to be coming back!

This is my favorite coffee place! The owners are so nice. They’re open even in the snow. Coffee is great and so is the food. I also appreciate that this was pretty much the only coffee shop in the neighborhood that stayed open throughout the entirety of the pandemic. There’s a lot to be said for that alone!

Love this place. Great coffee and pastries. It’s super easy to order, and the service is great. I really appreciate that they keep their inventory up to date with their online ordering too.

Love love this cafe. I bring my dog sage with me and the clerks give him treats all the time. The coffee is so so delicious and rich and I always get the sweet potato chocolate muffin. If theyre hiring I would love to work there!!! A go to spot for coffee lovers.

This place has been here for just over a year and I stopped in for the first time yesterday. Came back again today, because their lattes are the best I’ve had in Philly! 🙌🏻 Absolutely delicious. My BF got the mocha and it was also one of the best...super yummy decadent chocolate flavor.

I love their GF muffins and the owners are so friendly! I used to live around the corner and I would grab a sweet potato muffin and coffee almost every day

The owners/staff (not sure If theyre the same) are SO sweet and helpful. Theyre great with pandemic regulation and very prompt. Good coffee, great pastries, and lovely outdoor seating across from the park!

BEST COFFEE SHOP IN TOWN!got a cup of iced vanilla latte with extra shot of espresso. Perfectly balanced. Also tried espresso fizz which was amazing! Espresso shots top of sparkling water and syrup. Awessssoommme👍

Tried this place for the first time this morning and was not disappointed! I ordered a latte with oatmilk which was smooth and had a very mild taste. I also got the bacon and cheddar quiche which was delicious! My boyfriend loved his dirty chai and cheese danish as well! Perfect little spot for coffee in East Falls!

I work a few blocks away and love coming to Thundermug for a morning or afternoon coffee. The staff are always so friendly, very prompt with the online orders and pickup, and all the drinks are delicious - my personal favorite is the dirty chai.

Great for a quick cup to go, and their desert slices are the bomb. One of the only baristas that knows what a London Fog is by name! This honest and straight forward coffee shop is worth checking out if you live in or pass through the neighborhood.

Beautiful little hidden spot right on Ridge! The employees are wonderful, the prices are fantastic, the coffee is to die for and they allow dogs! One of my favorite new places in the neighborhood

So cute and cozy. Not a fast and bustling get-it-right-this-second cafe. Its a slower Euro-style place. Danish was incredible and coffee is delicious!
