Really awesome specialty coffees! My bf got the blackberry mocha and I believe I got the maple chai (if i remember correctly) and they were both delightfully sweet and desserty (what i like in a coffee). The bagel sandwiches were okay but the bagels were really dry and the bacon egg and cheese was incredibly salty.

Awesome, filling vegan options! Great spot if you want to avoid the hubbub of South Street.

Rating for the service. Went twice and the same vibes were there. It feels like you’re being a burden for asking questions about the menu (that doesn’t have their specialty coffees or pastries listed) and that they really don’t care that much to explain. I left feeling like I didn’t want to come back and deal with that

My first visit. An unexpected treat. I love it there. Great food and a wonderful eclectic atmosphere and friendly staff. Also clean bathroom with its own theme lol. I cant wait to go back and visit again.

Cute little place to stop by for a coffee. We had to wait a while for our drinks and then just found then sitting on the counter so they werent super hot anymore. Id go back if I was in the area.

Nice cafe with plenty of food and drink options, including breakfast and meal options. Pretty fairly priced for the large portion size. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options too, and they actually taste good. The cafe is well-kept and has a cozy vibe.Only downsides are cash only (there is an ATM, but ATM fees are annoying), and one of the staff members who rang me up had an obnoxious attitude every time I tried to talk to her. Everyone else was friendly, though. Overall a nice stop if youre in Old City.

The Huevos Banditos is the best breakfast burrito Ive ever had! Hearty and full of fresh ingredients. Love their chai lattes (spicy ginger or honey vanilla). Usually order to go, but a cozy environment if you want to hang for a bit.

If I am in south philly and want coffee and a bite, this is the answer. Quick. VERY friendly and positive. Clearly they love every type of person that comes in their door (ehem.. *to their window #covidlife) The prices are extremely fair, wonderful value for your dollar and they use legit quality products in their fold and coffee. I will be back again and again.

The food here is fantastic. The only downside is its cash only. They have an ATM. The inside is super cozy. Great for a quick bite or a long coffee date or study spot. Ironically, everyone I talk to agrees their coffee beans are terrible. For such a fancy place youd think the coffee would be good, but it tastes sour. Stick to the specialty drinks. They rule.

Not 5 star worthy, but good nonetheless. The food is fresh and the service is great! I should have been more adventurous but I played it safe by getting a turkey and egg breakfast sandwich on wheat. It wasnt greasy, and the egg was cooked to perfection!

The best spot in the neighborhood to work and get a delicious lunch. Offering all plant milks in the DIY area is 5-star alone IMO! I always come by when I’m back in my hometown.

Great coffee. When I crash with friends in Philly they buy their beans from here and I love the flavor. The staff is awesome and the house coffee is superb. What more can you ask for?!

Once a week...its that good. Nearly everything on the menu is delightful, and while its not the best food in Philly (maybe best lunch spot?) its still pretty high up there for me and its incredibly reasonable in price, too.

The shop is small, but the atmosphere is low-key and relaxing, the decor is super eclectic and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly. They have an extensive menu of coffee drinks and smoothies as well as sandwiches, baked goods, salads, melts, wraps, and eggs. It is cash only, however, but there is an ATM there for your convenience.

Usually good music. Aloof staff that doesnt try to talk to me and leaves me alone basically perfect.. not my favorite coffee

Really nice little coffee shop with a pretty deep food menu. Baristas are always quick and friendly, food is very tasty. Find that its never too crowded as well.

Nothing could have prepared me for how enjoyable my order was. I will be returning to try every remaining vegan offering. I was somewhat saddened to see roughly half of the menu prominently included animal products, but the very broad selection of vegan options will take me many visits to savor each of.

Nice place inside. Staff are great. Only two problems: cash only, and cappuccinos offered in sizes. A small fills up a 12 ounce cup, so more than double the size of an actual cappuccino. Still a good spot to sit, but not where Id come for great coffee (check out Ox or Rally nearby for that).

Truly wonderful neighborhood coffee shop with a cultural vibe (monthly art shows and great variety of music). While the coffee and other creative drinks are good, the food is even better. I feel as though my own mom is cooking for me in the back but with a culinary flair that she had only aspired to.

This cafe uses only FAIR TRADE coffee! Miraculously, prices are lower than average. Food is awesome, including lots of vegan choices (try the harvest wrap). Plenty of free parking nearby. I love relaxing at this super comfy cafe!

Nothing fancy, in fact, the place feels like it could use a deep cleaning. Efficient, but not overly friendly staff. The last time there my coffee was tasted burnt. Other then that experience, Ive enjoyed.Its a good place to meet someone and chat, usually quiet, with a few choice seats.

The smell was SO good as you walked in! The espresso wasnt an A+, but the ambience made up for it. Didnt have any food, but pastries looked great and they had a delectable looking potato salad that they use as a side for all their sandwiches.

Cozy and quaint little cafe. Very old and antique shop with exposed brick wall and [did I mention old] hard wood floor thats not even flat, so be careful not to trip haha.In all seriousness as soon as my friend and I walked in were greeted with cold stares. Probably the most unfriendly staff Ive ever dealt with. I got an avocado avocado and mango smoothie, which was delicious and not too sweet. No real mangoes were used though, I think it was puree. My friend ordered an ice vanilla chai tea latte. Which just tasted like cinnamon flavored milk with vanilla. This place is cash only which I didnt realize until the guy rudely muttered under his breath did you not see the sign cash only. Oh Im sorry Im too blind to see your small sign that posted all the way at the end of the cash register, on the way behind all the junk (tbh I still did not find the sign but my friend said they DID in fact have one).Im surprised by all the positive feedback. Maybe their actual food items are good. I however will be returning. Im sure there are good if not better cafes in the area where they treat you with courtesy and respect and actually smile at you because youre a valued customer.
