Everything they craft is great. Solid choice of beverages, pastries as well as sandwiches. There is limited seating due to......well the obvious. Also pet friendly location!

Decent cup of joe. Their chai tea latte is one of the best Ive had. Theres hardly any chocolate in their chocolate croissant but thats a minor concern. Plenty of seating for hanging out or a date. They have lots of quick middle eastern bites such as humus wraps, lebneh on toast, and zaatar (middle eastern herb) on a bagel.

Coffee is good, but not great. It is possible to get a much better cup at one of the places in the Italian Market. It has a typical coffee shop feel. The main reason for the one star is that they have made me wait 15+ minutes for a breakfast sandwich multiple times, making me late for work. It should not take that long to take a sandwich out of a case and heat it up.

Honestly haven’t had this good of a latte outside of... ever? They perfectly foamed the milk so that as you drink, the layers of milk melt together and form the perfect temperature - upon serving. No waiting necessary! Also, amazing chocolate croissant that reminded me of the ones I got in France. Flaky goodness! Also, DOGS. MORNING MADE.

Such a staple in this area. Great coffee at affordable prices. Lots of space to sit and is particularly amazing in the summer when the windows are open and you can enjoy the breeze. They do offer food, have only tried the zucchini bread which is pretty great but they offer sandwiches and wraps as well. Lots of healthy cafe options. Would recommend this to anyone, anytime.

I love this place and go there often. They have great coffee, including decaf, and a really nice selection of tea. Their sandwiches, including the eggels (a bagel with egg on it) and labneh on a thick slab of bread with cucumber, olive oil, and olive, are delicious. Good choice of pastries, too. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable.

Warm and cozy coffee spot. Came in from out of this cold rainy day to grab a warm cup of coffee. I instead went with the cappuccino, the drink was perfect. The staff are friendly and fast. I also got to meet a nice puppy inside so its nice they allow dogs in. An over all excellent experience.

I love this place. Though I actually find the coffee a bit too burnt tasting, the food and service are amazing. My favorites are the labneh and the eggel. My boyfriend loves the meatball sandwich. One time I had a zaatar croissant they was delicious. All of the baristas are very kind and it feels really homey with the small kitchen in the back.

This coffee shop is a bright spot in an interesting neighborhood. I wandered in during the pope visit and was able to get excellent coffee as well as some very tasty and different food snacks. It turned out to be a great place to people-watch. The staff was very friendly and the owners seem to know everybody in the neighborhood.

I like this place, but its really hit-and-miss. Pastries are great when theyre fresh, but they definitely keep them in there longer than they ought to at times. My go-to drinks are an iced mocha and a cortado. Their iced mocha is pretty good. Ordered a cortado there the other day, was served what appeared to just be a small cappuccino (about a half-inch of foam on top). Asked for it without all the foam, and when they called out my order it was for a no-foam cortado, which makes me think that they just normally serve a cortado this way. Anyway, nice enough people, but there are better options for great coffee in the area.

Java makes a good case for having more coffee shops. Its crazy small and there are no other cafes in the immediate vicinity so it gets packed with hipsters and hipsters with kids. Staff is disorganized and just not coordinated when orders are put in. Today I ordered 2 large coffees, one regular and one decafe. I got 2 coffees in 2 different sized cups. When I inquired about it I was corrected about what I ordered in a condescending manner. Terrible.

Our regular, go-to coffee shop. After visiting Italy for the first time a few years ago, this place was the only one in the neighborhood with coffee to satisfy our new-found taste. The owners are very warm and friendly and are often seen sitting down to chat and catch up with the regular customers (who often also become their friends). The food is also wonderful. In addition to danish, croissant, and apple cider donuts (plus some vegan baked goods) they have hot oatmeal and some very tasty middle-eastern inspired items such as labneh (thick yoghurt spread on a slide of bread), and my own favorite the eggel (hard boiled egg slices and cheese on a toasted bagel with zaatar). They have outdoor seating and a weekly trivia question posted to the blackboard just for grins.
