Great coffee every time, even better people :)

We have been told again and again that Ox is the best coffee in Philly so we have it a try. My resident coffee connoisseur gives it two thumbs up, reporting that “there is no bitterness.” The shop is small and service is “walk up to the window” style, which is fine. There is also an “order ahead” option. Ox also offers a small selection of baked goods, various coffee/espresso drinks, and hot chocolate (also rumored to be “the best”- I’ll let you know...). The service was friendly and efficient but fair warning: the coffee isn’t inexpensive.

Awesome, chill, vibes coffee/espresso place. Small spot but great espresso! Large oat milk latte is extra smooth.

Had a particularly tasty americano there this morning. It’s nice to get a straightforward drink and have it be done so well!

The drinks are always amazing. Got the cupids cup today and it was perfect. Not too sweet and the espresso was still the star.

Taste was good, but they got my order mixed with someone elses. They have a good protocol for covid. I do recommend calling ahead instead of waiting outside for ~10 min.

This coffee shop is amazing! I really like the atmosphere, good coffee, and nice interior. This is the best place to study or chill with friends. Internet connection is very fast and is unlimited as well. Their seats and couches are very comfy to sit. I really love to come back to this place shortly. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our weekend here for we were able to meet new friends while having coffee together with my old chums. We also ordered desserts because one of our friends is not a coffee lover.

Small and cozy, serves good coffee. The place to be if you dont like crowd-noisy places and looking for a descent cup of coffee for your buck

Good speciality coffee joint, offer a blend on espresso (I would like to see some single origin or some variety on espresso) however their espresso was excellent, definitely not standard flat blend but very punchy and interesting. service was friendly. Prices are on the high end. The real bummer is there is basically nowhere comfortable to sit. The chairs are all extremely minimal wooden planks with no backrest.

Food is on point! Consistently good and well prepared. Music selection is excellent too! Neighborhood is being gentrified though so it gets crowded on the weekend with so-called hipsters.

Amazing little neighborhood coffee place! I wandered in here on a quiet Saturday morning, not much room to sit (its no Central Perk), but I was able to carve out a corner to sit and enjoy a straight-up stellar iced latte, quickly prepared by one of the friendly bartistas.The combination of a good cup of coffee and friendly folks was like being transported to another city, if only for a moment. 10/10, Ill be back

Today I had the best iced latte ever. Get it with oat milk and you won’t be disappointed. On top of that, like a dummy I spilled my drink and the employees there were so polite and sweet. They assured me it was okay and made me a new latte immediately. Yay!

Ox Coffee offered me one of the best coffee shop experiences that I have had in a while. Amazing coffee served by a kind and knowledgeable staff. I was made to feel at home. Ill be back every time I visit Philadelphia.

Fantastic spot. Best coffee I have found in the area by a long shot. More a place for takeout than to sit and hang out, but there is a little space in the back for that as well.

I come here 2-3 times a month as a self care treat to myself.The coffee is AMAZING and doesnt leave me feeling yucky like other small shops.The baristas are always so kind and nice. I get to nerd out a little bit and they listen while making my coffee which is super nice for someone with bad social anxiety like myself.Dont go to Wawa, go here

Someone on the street yelled “this is the best coffee place in the city!!” at someone who was just moving in, and I can’t say I entirely disagree, it’s really good!

This place has the best coffee in the Philly area!! They make it to your liking and there’s no complaints. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and made my experience the best!!

The girl was rude to me when I was asking questions about their limited drink menu. The place is extremely small..I ordered first but made others that ordered after me before me. She was rude when I saw her pouring whole milk into it and asked for different milk. I only came here once and that will be it which I’m fine which bc it’s not that special.

The coffee is really good! Its so tasty and smooth. I had a Latte and they even did the pretty little latte design. Extra points because the cashier liked my Majoras mask wallet. The bathroom is pretty narrow and small though, and they play crickets while you pee. So thats a little odd. But they do have this nice little outdoor area.

I stop by here every time Im in Philly. Its got excellent coffee and friendly baristas making it always a pleasurable experience. On a nice day the back patio is nice to sit out on and take in a relaxing day. I know they take care of a few local restaurants coffee needs so maybe youve already have some of this hidden gem.

Definitely know their coffee and its a great space with lots of light. Im looking forward to when theres some more outdoor seating out back. Its an excellent place to go and get a coffee with friends and catch up.

Coffee made well and roasted locally by Ox! The barista was friendly and service was quick. The atmosphere is cozy-- not ideal for working on laptops, but good for coffee dates.

Easily one of the best coffee shops in Philly. Great ambience and excellent coffee. Theres always some good music playing on the turntable. And the features art is a plus! The owners and staff are very friendly.

Very cool casual space to get fueled up for work. Wish that they offered reusable mugs for dining in iced beverages but next time, will bring my own mug:) Staff is nice and music is eclectic to say the least. Yummy lemon grass iced tea

Now this is a place that really knows how to make a good coffee. The flavors are so bold that they are left in my mouth for hours after I finish my drink. And the baristas are very knowledgeable and make the best fancy coffee drinks.

Coffee is great! Really smooth blend. Pretty small seating space, not really the place to hang out for a long period of time, but the baristas are really friendly and its great for a to-go coffee on the way to work.

Staff was extremely rude. Refused to make a drink the way it was ordered (dirty chai) because it would ruin the flavor. If the chai was of a higher quality, I would not have had to request the espresso to enhance the flavor.

Small cozy shop, always feels like youre invited into someones living room to relax with a coffee. Great service and even better beans.

Quiet little coffee shop. Good for a quick stop or if you want to do some reading in the back room or back yard when its nice out. Theres no internet so unless youre bringing your own hotspot youre outta luck for most laptop work. Good macchiato.

It is a wonderful coffee place. Delicious Stumptown coffee and an adorable back patio + nice staff. This is a great place to get your caffein fix.

Laid back. No corporate pretensiuosness. Cool record collection that gets spinned. Expanded garden in back is wonderful.
