The people working are always incredibly nice and helpful, and the shop is super cute! There is seating out front and a little patio out back which has been nice during COVID to drink/eat outside. The drinks and sandwiches I have gotten have always been very good!

I love this good karma location! They have many spaces to sit, including a little patio out back, and the employees are very nice. Ive had many of their drinks/sandwiches/pastries and all delicious. Most recently I had their Dandy Lion drink which I just love! so refreshing. I did sit here long enough though to notice that the floor couldve benefited from a sweep, but other than that everything else was clean and orderly.

The matcha latte with oat was delicious! I also got a breakfast sandwich and the bagel they use tasted so good and fresh!

Indoor seating is still not open, but there are tables in the back patio and out front and also free open wifi. Very cute, plants and fire escapes in the patio. Love the fair trade coffee!

The cashier was nice and polite. We sat in the rear dinning area. 2 Cons: Its the summer, you should invest in more shade for out door areas. Some more umbrellas or tents. Also my order was wrong. But corrected with no problem.

Love their dandy lion drink - iced green tea with lemonade and a little lavender syrup. So freshing and fun for springtime. I do wish they had a few more pastry options. Their pastry selection is always a little low and sad looking.

Great local coffee shop! They have the cutest garden with outdoor seating in the back. The staff is always super friendly, and they really want everyone to have a great experience there. Also love the fact that the shop is focused on social responsibility and sustainability.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The Bagel I had was really good for a fair price. And if you bring your own mug you can even safe a bit of money on beverages.

I really enjoy their bagels, but will not be back. I always place a mobile order as I am a busy community health worker, last time I got there,.my order wasnt there and I asked them and they went oh we canceled it because we didnt have any everything bagels. I left. I never got a notification that it was canceled. The better way to handle that would be to make someone their coffee they ordered and then if they dont want to sub their bagel you can refund them. So terribly handled.

Visited Philadelphia and came across this place. The house coffee was delicious and the space was so welcoming. Great place to catch up or for some me time!

Good cute cafe. Had Dominican mocha hot chocolate and Happy Buddha bagel with lemon popy muffin. Hot chocolate was not hot and a bit disappointing. Buddha was OK. We had it with wheat bagel, I think they recommend sesame bagel with it but were out of stock. Muffin was delicious. Saved the day. Highly recommend it.Staff is polite and courteous. They all had masks on. Offered free dog treats for our pup.

My go-to when I’m here is the Apple of My Eye breakfast cinnamon bagel and the Wildflower lavender matcha latte. Love the hidden little patio in the back for getting work done and the staff are always super nice and helpful. I would recommend that you order online for a seamless and socially-distant pick-up experience (and to collect those sweet, sweet points)!

Good veggie sandwich and brewed coffee. But I just cant get used to the impersonal style: order online, pick up your food in a sack, and never speak to a human being. Its the virus, not the restaurant, but it feels lonely.

Good coffee and quick service! Breakfast bagels are available all days. They do sandwiches and salads as well (vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options available).

They have the friendliest staff on the phone and in person. Really makes you feel welcomed and valued as a customer. They make some bomb soy lattes and their lavender cold tea is a must try!

Good place to get some peace

In a city full of great coffee Good Karma is at the top in my opinion. I love my coffee strong and this stuff is rocket fuel but its also smooth! The staff at each location is always so nice and I cant say enough good things about them.

My preferred place for delicious cafe food. fell in love with this place from the 1st taste. the service here is friendly. the place has a nice feel to it. i see why this place has so many good reviews.

Their bagels are awesome. Highly recommend. Hit the spot.

I loved going to this café and studying when I was an undergrad. I think it had to do with the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, the strong coffee, great bagels and super pleasant staff.

What a change in atmosphere. This place is more than just a coffee shop. The staff is unbelievably friendly and the coffee is unmatched. Way better than Duncan Donuts/Starbucks. Who would think that places like this still exist.

DELICIOUS! Ive never had something here that I didnt love. Everything is fresh and the service is great. I love to come here for an early breakfast (it can get busy in the later morning / early afternoon). They make an excellent Chai Latte - highly recommend. The best part? I can bring my dogs with me and sit out front!

Nice calm spot to work at or catching up with a friend while enjoying a latte in your BYO mug. Love the rotating art collections too.

TBH, this place is only okay. Every time I am there, I cant help but think if I was at Starbucks, would the service be this slow, the options so slim, or the prices and portions so out of whack? I want to like this place more than I do, mostly because its a cool place to work or hang out. Im just not that cool. In the end, I leave feeling like I feel when I leave a lot of vegetarian restaurants: it is work to be here, usually more than it is worth.

The coffee could have been a little better. Maybe even a little bit nicer the staff. But I would still go in.

Came in because the menu looked and sounded very good. Well I can’t speak for the drinks but definitely don’t come here if you’re looking for fresh food Bc you’ll end up spending $10 on a “grilled chicken” sandwich that is made with frozen precooked chicken breast (I saw the bag) that are heated in a microwave.

Im not going to say that this place is amazing in terms of the food or coffee. They certainly good and I give it 4 stars on that level. So the 5th Star comes from being the only place like this in the neighborhood that I have found (I live in West Philly and was working in fitler square) and even more so for the excellent staff who are always friendly and welcoming

Friendly service. When we asked to have our coffee warmed up, they brewed fresh coffee and gave us fresh cups. Reasonable prices and provide vegan and gluten free selections. This is a place.

Mango smoothie was basically blended ice, mango and sugar, really disappointing. Garden bagel was not well executed and flavors didnt blend well. Coffee was pretty good.

I love this place. Its hardcore vegan and its a gem of a place for vegetarians. The food is ridiculously fresh. The place is clean... And it just feels so damn good to eat good food that you know is good for you.Only downside is that its small and they dont have a damn toaster, which is weird, I know because this is not a raw food place. I just like my tempeh ruben on toast. Im funny that way.Seriously, Its a great find and worth a visit.

This coffee shop has just the right balance of basic coffee shop food and a nice selection of sandwiches and soups for a quick lunch. The incredible staff makes it worth the fact that its a little more expensive than other coffee options in the area.

The original good karma (this one) has a very cozy feel and outdoor patio seating. Great coffee (especially the $3 endless coffee deal for those addicts among us) and food (love the happy Buddha bagel).

I used to really like this place, and would come by occasionally to get some work done on weekend mornings. The breakfast sandwiches and coffee are good, but since the last time I’ve been here they’ve apparently put a very strict firewall up that prevents you from going to any page that is not Facebook or Google. This is ridiculous and prevents you from getting anything productive done. Don’t plan on coming back again.EDIT: 7/19/2018I appreciate the owners response and will update this to 2 stars to reflect positive experiences prior to this one, but wanted to note that I did ask the staff about it and they were very unhelpful, and basically shrugged off my question and just pointed out the wifi password. I get theyre baristas and not tech support, but their complete lack of concern or effort was still frustrating.

I came in for coffee, just coffee, which is my main interest in a cafe. What I got barely passed muster. There was no crema on my freshly produced Americano. The weak concoction was really no better than the generic drink one encounters all too often in diners. I left it after a few sips and went in search of something better. Very poor.
