This is a unique coffee bar and working space! The walls are very artistic and colorful and the space is decorated well. There are about 5 tables and a bar in the back to sit at. The drinks are quite pricey. A 16oz mocha with caramel flavor is 6.75. If Id have asked for almond milk I wouldve paid over 7 dollars. And thats not including a tip. This I feel is truly ridiculous for a cup of coffee so I stuck with regular milk. The service is slow but they are new and I feel that they truly strive for perfection. My latte was delicious!!! I enjoyed it but I dont think Ill be back to spend that much for a latte anytime soon :/

I can’t walk in here without getting a fresh baked crueler or gelato. The cappuccinos & lattes, tea blends are all consistently delicious. I haven’t ordered anything off of the breakfast/lunch menu but it smells amazing as soon as you walk in.

We were lucky enough to get the new Cakesicles! A cleverly delicious creation of earl grey ice cream, apricot, cake, that is dipped in chocolate. The earl grey aroma complements the apricot so well, i never would of thought of this combo, but it works so well! The gelato is made in house, I tried the pandan and its so full of bold coconut and pandan flavor. If u never had pandan, it is a leaf that adds a sweet nutty toasty flavor, commonly used in desserts in asia. But fusing this with italian gelato?!! Another brilliant creation. And lastly, the gelato tea float. So refreshing on a hot day. It was oolong magnolia tea with the pandan gelato on top. Soo tasty. This place deserves the highest complements, u really can taste the effort and planning in each creation. The staff are very welcoming, the environment is cozy and casual, and I like their unique bathroom sign. Go try it!

Fantastic fresh made pastries and free flowing coffee -- theres good co-working deals for an afternoon of plugging in and working. Its a decent space to set up a laptop and work, but beware there arent any quiet areas for taking calls or having private meetings. Its a good compromise between coffee shop and a more expensive co-working space, though.

Great food and drinks. Cozy atmosphere. The gelato is a must try.

A really great coffee shop in Fishtown. They are really friendly and helpful. They brew Square One Coffee which is a godsend over all the La Colombe that is served in Philly. There is decent seating on the inside to hang out with a few seats outside. Definitely worth the trip.

I love my trips to Flow State since it opened in August 2018 whether it be by myself for a quick snack or with the family where my daughter loves to interact with the awesome ladies there. Im not a coffee drinker so I cant comment on that selection, but they do have a nice tea selection and their pastries are killer. Built into their counter is a case with house-made gelato, not your average coffee shop offering. They have a rotating selection of about 2 dozen pastries ranging from scones to giant muffins to cookies to crullers with one or two special Filipino treats mixed in each day. If you head there in the last hour of the day, they have a baked goods happy hour where everything in the case is half price.The vibe is nice in there with beautiful wooden floating shelves behind the counter, different sized tables for small, large, and communal seating, and funky lighting throughout. Definitely a spot where you can feel comfortable working from and take advantage of their co-working packages which include a dedicated workspace and coffee/pastries/lunch/gelato depending on the level you buy.

I think is overestimated, we had some ice cream and it is first time that my children didnt eat it, we got 6 flavors and only one flavor was nice, Mexican chocolate!! I dont know about coffee. Maybe the good reviews is for coffee.

Pretty cool bar with great and friendly bartenders. Their happy hour drink selections are great and plentiful. Their tequila shots are cheap ($4/each), though I dont remember what kind they use. Plenty of seating and tables and the environment is pretty chill.Flow State CoffeeBar

I love everything about this coffee shop. The staff is kind and I feel very at home here, the baked goods are creative and excellent, and the coffee is delicious. It is adorably decorated and I love to do work here. We are so lucky to have this business in the neighborhood. I especially love the all-gender restrooms.

Amazing pastries, drinks, and service! The decor is adorable, and the staff are super friendly.Its also a great place to work (whether you work from home, need a place to study, etc.). You can even buy a few hours (or more!) of work time, which can get you internet, unlimited coffee, and/or food.

Shop is nice with lots of seating options. Coffee is not the best in the area but certainly better than Starbucks

I just bought 1/2 dozen curlers and cider doughnuts and my cup of coffee. You can watch the pastry chef prepare the pastries and baked items in the kitchen through the glass partition - they are made fresh. I love this place.

This place is great! The coffee and pastries are awesome! Melanie creates tasty and original, creative pastries, and the hot chocolate is glorious. I’m excited to try the gelato and affogato next time we visit Philly. The staff are friendly, the environment inclusive, and it’s a great place to co-work, write or chat. There is an all-gender restroom available.

This is a great coffee shop in the neighborhood. Hands down I think they make some of the best ice cream in the city. The co-working part of the shop feels a little like mission creep and I am not sure that makes a ton of sense.

Ambiance is cool and conducive to studying or doing some work and staff seem nice. I ordered a coffee and the Johann panini- coffee was fine but the panini was super dry and unappetizing, especially at $10/sandwich. For wifi, we were given codes printed on a paper valid for 1 hour each.

Wow, I stumbled into this shop to kill some time and I LOVE it here. The place is so cute, the staff is so friendly and helpful and the coffee is great! They make all their own syrups and caramels and pasteries in-house. Their rosemary syrup is the shitttttt. 10/10 would recommend

I am addicted to Flow State! The owners are very sweet and attentive. Everything here is delicious...but I highly recommend you try the homemade chai, the gelati (spicy chocolate and honey cashew are my favorites - even better than former Capogiro) and pastries. My favorite pastry ever is their butter cookie with sprinkles/jimmies. Its delicious...so delicious. Do yourself a favor and order a bunch of pastries from this amazing business owned by great people! I really really wish they baked cakes to order because Id definitely buy a couple! ❤️

YO PEOPLE GOTTA STOP WALKING IN HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO EAT EVERYTHING HERE IF PEOPLE KEEP COMING IN AND BUYING STUFF.for real I like coconut and my gf doesn’t and we both agree the coconut pastries here are amazing. The pandan ice cream has the flavor of a coconut sticky rice I used to love but can’t get anymore. Am I crying? The iced chai was the best I’ve ever had and it didn’t even get diluted from the ice. F*$#.

So lucky to have this spot in our neighborhood! Flow State truly does not get enough credit for all of their homemade delicacies. I CRAVE the chocolate bobkas (like a glazed chocolate cinnamon roll - truly divine) and their decadent crullers as well. And DO NOT SLEEP on the paninis!! Homemade focaccia is next level. And love the yummy herby seasoned chips that come with. Staff is always so friendly and sharing a lot of great local causes which is lovely. Can’t wait to try their gelato!
