If you need a fun gift for that hard-to-buy-for person, or a treat for yourself, I highly recommend Philly socks. The shop is a pleasant, well-lit, spotless space with nearly every inch of the walls covered with...socks. The socks are hung so it is quite easy to fully and quickly view them, but there are so many, and they are so entertaining, that youll want to take your time. When we stopped in, the owner himself was staffing the store. He is a great conversationalist, pleasant and funny, and he really knows his socks. Need a suggestion? Give him a theme or a suggestion of what the recipient likes or does, and he can quickly bring forth several suitable possibilities. If you cant get to the store, there is also the possibility of ordering online. However, if youre in the area, I highly recommend stopping in. Im confident youll leave with a smile on your face...and several pairs of great socks.

What a great store! There is something for everyone here with socks featuring animals, politics, rock stars, hobbies, and everything Philadelphia -- just to scratch the surface. I plan to do a lot of shopping here, especially during the holidays. And Paul, the manager, is very helpful and personable. A gem of a store!

Awesome socks! Some of them give you a good laugh. Paul (maybe the owner?) was just as awesome as the socks. He was super friendly, funny and helpful. He is also a dog lover-major points in my book-who invited me to bring my dog next time. Great store!

The owner of the store was very friendly and knowledgeable about any information I had as a visitor over spring break with my family. Places to visit for food, entertainment, etc. After purchasing a pair or socks a member of my party forgot her cell phone and upon my return to the shop to retrieve the phone I found the owner of the store closing his shop temporarily to find us and inform us that the phone was forgotten and was kept in a safe place in the store!

Fun spot to visit. Theres a pretty big collection for adults and children as well as a bunch of themed sections (e.g. sports teams). Its fun to go in and browse and worth checking out.

Opened late I guess. Because no hours were posted but it was 12 pm. When went back a man was there who seemed to not understand what I needed. I really wanted to like this place as the outside is so cute. But I was unable to connect to what he was saying.

You need socks...they have them all.Even quirky ones.

I went to have a shopping day in Old City. They were not open at the time the door said. Came back and still not open. I was able to find socks down the street at a mens clothing store.

Dont have any knee high socks for young girls and toddlers but has a good selection

I went 3 days in a row when they indicated they would be open & they were closed. I wanted to get family gifts & I eventually gave up! Very disappointed. Looked in window & liked what I saw. ☹️

Lots and lots of socks if you are into socks. They seemed a little expensive to me for socks though. I liked looking at all the socks, but if you dont need socks its not really the place for you. Nice man waited on me.

My girlfriend and I headed over to this place to use a gift certificate she bought me. Ending up shopping everywhere but here because this place is apparently never open. It’s not fair or proefessional to sell holiday gift certificates and never be opened. We asked all around even the parking authority and they laughed. The shop keeper is known as not keeping hours. I guess when it’s sunny and the star are aligned they open. We did get a few nice things down the street for my lady and some great French friends next door. But forget this place. Apparently it’s for show

Many socks in this space. Some a little high. But mostly reasonable.

My favorite shop in Philly Paul is awesome and who ever that Phil guy is.

This store is NEVER open. Try it any week day and you simply won’t get in. Poor busimess practice. I asked several other stores along the street and they all said pretty much the same. Seems this store opens when it pleases and not many are respectful of these practices. Looks like it’s someone’s hobbyI have a useless gift certificate.

The place is never open. I checked before I left home for the hours of operation. It said 10 a.m. I got there at 11:45 a.m. and it was not open nor did it state on the door why it was not open and what time it would be open. That is very poor business. Will never go there again. Very disappointed.

Decent selection but I would rather shop online than be followed around the storm and given a dirty look for covering up a MAGA sock (which tells you something about what the staff must think of people who look like me)
