They sell worn sneakers at this store and I wont take them back if you return them the next day. The so-called manager named Sam sold me some sneakers Wednesday, I returned it Thursday and she wouldnt accept her own shoes claiming I worn it. When I only put the shoes on twice. Thats at my house in the mirror and at store when I bought it. Trash customer service. Still looked good at my film premiere in ATL.

I was at the store today on 6/24/21. Picking up a in store raffle win. The staff ; Ben,Alex, Sam and another person (sorry for butchering names) 3 gentlemen and a lady who really performed above and beyond service expectations. Friendly,kind and professional. The store was almost closed and they made sure I got the highly desired kicks before I left town for the shore, even though they were busy setting up a private event (that looked insanely dope) some super cool sushi vibe (who knew they did that?!?!). Excellent all the way around. Gold standard service. Highly recommend

Hell yeah. It had been +1.5 years since I had stepped foot into L&H. My younger brother went to purchase some bracelets, at the time.The layout is simple: accessories, sneakers, clothing. Very streamline. Easy, efficient. I dont usually sneaker shop in-store(s) as my size either sells quickly, or just isnt carried. I was fortunate enough to be assisted by Sham (she deemed this fit as her nickname). She was very patient, and informative of the brands I inquired about.If youre in the area, give them a visit. You wont know until you go.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and I received an empty box. I called customer service and they requested pictures and for me to send an email with all the details and assured me they’d resolve this. Two months later and they’ve only answered a few of my emails and I haven’t received a refund or replacement shoes.Update- after a few months with everything with the bank and claims I got my money refunded from lapstone&hammer. Thank you! An unfortunate event but thankful to have gotten my money back.

The layout and refined interior textures are well thought out at this sneaker shop/boutique. The ambiance gives the feel of a high end seasoned tailor shop.The associates are kind and ready to assist with the right balance of pro active service and space to allow for customers autonomy.

Went today for a sneaker release with my son. There was a guy (curly hair) who was very pleasant! He engaged with us who were standing in line. The line was very organized except for one individual who wanted to cut the line. The guy spoke with the individual in a calm cool way that was non- confrontational, which in turn put the guy back in his correct spot, allowing for a peaceful, orderly, fair purchasing experience.

I made a purchase that didn’t fit. They accepted and processed my refund very promptly. When it came time to reorder I wanted to avoid the possibility of repeating the improper fit. Without even asking Andrew took the initiative to facilitate my in store experience without a hitch. This is customer service, attention to detail and buyer experience at an unparalleled level in today’s mass produced for the lowest common denominator environment.

Beautiful store but Raffles are rigged. You’ll never win in them because they select who they want to give the limited shoes to. Expressed my concern about that on the Instagram page and was falsely called shady by an employee of lapstone & hammer but never the official page responded back. I’ll submit my proof of their rigged raffle system to a Nike official.

One raffle went to purchase my sneakers however even though I showed them my ID with my name they would not allow me because I want it with my maiden name and I show them my maiden name with my DD 214 military having my social security number and they said no even though I had my military ID and my DD 214 they said my ID had to have the correct name drove over an hour to pick up the sneakers but the manager said no way it was clearly the correct name I was totally there blown away my son which it was supposed to be a gift for very disappointed I stopped everything to pick up those sneakers understand policy

Accidentally purchased the wrong sneaker online. They refused to cancel my order. I immediately contacted them about the mistake. Only reason was their website sent me a quick checkout code. I proceeded and didnt realize until after. Not only is the shoe ugly i bought, but $40 more expensive then the sneaker i wanted. Dont support a company that doesnt value their customers.

The entire time I was browsing through the store with them Staring at me, I guess they thought i’d steal the Precious Merchandise lmaoo. end of day i left because Do not be Treating me like that in my Own City, I left No Purchase because they didn’t Deserve my money.

Whenever I’m in the city I always stop in at Lapstone. The staff is very chill and they’re always willing to walk you through the new selections they have and talk about sneakers and fashion. I have even been fortunate enough to win a handful of raffles for some pretty exclusive sneakers. Overall, I’ve had nothing but great experiences which is why I’ve been a recurring customer for over a year now.

They have some exclusive releases, only thing what u see out on the floor is what u get so if it a 12 sitting on the shelf thats the only pair they have but again they are at retail price

This store has a great collection of shoes. However, staff could use some customer service training. Last time I visited I asked a staff member for a pair of shoes and he had me standing there waiting. He was on the couch talking to a girl that wasn’t even a customer while on his phone. Goodbye. There’s a sneaker store a few blocks away with similar inventory and MUCH better service.

Ive spent thousands of dollars in this store with no hassle. i come back to buy an expensive pair of shoes and then exchange them. lady at the front gave me attidude both times. im a polite person but when a employee of a store gives me attitude because they dont wanto be there is a problem. its called customer service...

I went into Lapstone and hammer with money in my pocket and the shoe I wanted on the shelf. Sadly I walked out without the shoe due to my customer experience I was watched an profiled by a member of staff to the point I didn’t feel like it was worth me giving my money to such a establishment.#dontjudgeabookbyitscolor

A really good place for clothes and new release for shoes. Some of the staff are cool and others kind of suck. Asked for sandals in my size was told whatever was out was the smallest in one sandal so I asked if they had a smaller size in another pair the girl just said “I don’t know I don’t think so” well geez maybe you could do your job and look? And it’s not like they didn’t have smaller sizes previously I had a friend who bought a pair from here and had to catch an attitude in order for someone to even check in the back.

The people that work here need to quit because they do not like their job and it’s affecting the customers. The trickle down effect is real. It’s sad what people endure for a check. I walked out.

Ordered some luxury boots online from their website and they are flawless!! They are on point with their shipping and delivery notifications!! Delivery was fast as well. Will definitely look to purchase more items in the future.5 stars!!!!

Poor customer service. Employees are not friendly or helpful. They didn’t offer assistance, sat around on couches, on their phones and talking to one another. Disappointing in a store representing quality products. I will not recommend this store or shop here again because of the service.

I ordered a pair of sneakers from these guys and they put the wrong adress on the shipping slip so my sneakers are in a shipping loop going back and forth between the post office and the wrong adress. When I contacted them I was told by someone named Andrew that I myself have to sort it out with ups even though it was their mistake. Never shopping here again

Great collection of name brand new releases as well as high end clothes and sneakers. On top of that the interior design is incredible. They also have some very fair and winnable raffles compared to some of the other shoe stores in the city.

It was nice that they had the yeezy mists in stock. But getting an order confirmation was like pulling teeth. I commented on there instagram photo explaining that it had been 2 days since i placed my order on wednesday the 25th and had no confirmation. The condescending representative responds with a smug response “thats a perfectly normal time for processing”. First of all thats 48 hours... and its now monday 5 days later and my card is charged and still no shipping or order confirmation:) will not be dealing with these people again.

Its not a store I would shop for myself since its a mens store BUT I stopped in looking for an item for my brother and they were so nice. As soon as I walked in I probably looked like a loss dog but they were right there to help. I asked if they had some brand with a heart. Thats all I knew of the brand that I was on the hunt for. A heart. The sales guy didnt talk down to me or anything even with all my dumb questions. He was there to help and suggest. He even tried on the clothes for me because I couldnt tell how items would fit. I would definitely go back and continue doing business there when looking for gift for guys since I felt so comfortable.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Placed an order last Saturday and as I was waiting for my order, I received an email telling me that the size was out of stock. This happened 4 days after I originally placed my order. I have emailed and called and have gotten no response. I proceeded to call the store and the woman that answered stated she was the manager and got the most patronizing attitude. Her solution was to call my bank and deny the charges, which is ridiculous that a business would make that suggestion without making any attempt to resolve the issue. In my opinion I would recommend shopping anywhere but here. It’s Philadelphia, plenty of better options.

This store racially profiled I was offered no help and I was followed around the store the whole time but when white people walked in they were greeted and offered help if youre a person of color I advise you not to spend your money here because you arent welcomed.

Amazing selection of mens streetwear, sportswear, and casual wear. This is a must visit for anyone in Philly. Super knowledgeable staff that truly understands the brands they sell. The owner is a visionary and has his own in house label. You’re able to find pieces here not readily available anywhere else in the city.

Once again Lapstone & Hammer comes through in the clutch. Infared 6s dropped today along with the Pick Your Poison collab and happened to be the 1st one in line out of about 100+. They let me in, I bought my pair of size 9s and headed home and when I got there I did my usual glue check and scuff check and I came across a crease or some indention from the factory I caller back up immeadiately and so fortunate they had another size 9 and exchanged them without any questions. Great vibes, great service and even greater staff. Thanks Brian and everyone else working today. Until next, hammer time........too lame 😂😂😂

Great selection!

Not many options of clothes to choose from, but they are nice. The shoes are more on the fashion side of the sneaker world but they still look amazing. Some brands you can find there are CDG, Nike, Addidas, Billionaire Boys Club, Gosha Rubshinsky, Rick Owens, Filling Peices, Champion, Needles, and Puma.

Very nice selection, its a boutique so expect some boutique prices.

This website is fraudulent advertising iteams they dont even have in stock, I order a pair of boots they send me an email saying my order has been recieved, then the next day I get an email saying their 3rd party risk management team says my money will be refunded with no reason and they dont question the reason they just go with it. I make purchases from Macys, Sorel and Flight Club where I never have a problem this is unheard of and sketchy, I paid an extra $30 so I could receive my item in two days now I have to wait 3-4 businesses days for the money to go back on my card, now I have to monitor my card because they just told me in an Email some 3rd party that I had no idea would have my information now has it. Stay away
