I’m a longtime Verizon Wireless customer, and their call center representatives have always been second to none in terms of friendliness, knowledge, and overall helpfulness. This was my first time in a Verizon store, though. Was happy to see that their terrific call center reps extends to their in-store employees. Huge store, not crowded, I was helped immediately and courteously. Another reason I will never switch to another wireless provider.A+++++!
So verizon says on here it opens at 9am...whats posted is 10am...lets see then I will update this one star. Looks like this place has a bunch of bad reviews and a bunch of fake 5 star reviews.
Had to wait for awhile and was a little bugged when I was told that they didnt have any phones in stock that were under $450 but the rep searched a little harder and found a great moto g for $250 and thankfully he (wish I could remember his name, Kevin, maybe?) Was technically savvy enough to be able to recover everything from my old phone which was actually completely smashed up.
This store has the worst employees. Everyone in the store has a very bad attitude. They do not listen to the customers concerns. They just don’t listen and try to get you to call 611 instead of them doing the job
Wanted to renew my contract, but replace my tablet with a second phone. Very rude woman told me they wouldn’t help me. She said they would sell me the new phone but had no intention of removing the tablet. Instead she gave me a phone number to call. I’ve been sitting outside the store on hold for almost an hour now. Worst customer service ever!!!!!!Edit: so just wow…they got mad about this comment, tracked down where I worked! Left a long message on the general work phone about it. How creepy is that????? Fortunately the rest of the workplace laughed about it, but it could cost someone their job. Never, EVER, go here.
This is a beautiful place to experience technology. Its very spacious and feels free. You dont have to stand in a physical queue. Help will come to you when its your turn!
This might be the worst online customer service in my entire life yet. Its an endless loop of transfers and the worse part is that its something pretty simple. Im frankly shocked that Verizon customer service could be so incompetent.I recently signed up for Fios home internet, and was told the self install kit would be shipped to me and that Id receive the router in a few days. Its been a few days now, the tracking shows delivered, however I did not receive the package. So I contacted Fios agent through chat: the tracking info and Fios app is showing my router is delivered, however I did not receive any package. For the past hour and a half, 8 different agents from tech and customer service have been READING the tracking status back to me: It looks like your router has been delivered on 10/18. and completely missing the point of my issue. I KNOW WHAT THE DELIVERY STATUS IS. The point of my entire issue is that I did not receive it, when it says it is delivered. And then its an endless transfer literally from customer service to tech, to customer service to tech, 8 total times, each time having to repeat my name, phone number and my issue. I honestly dont believe Im speaking to live agents. its like a broken answering machine. I told them I know it says its delivered but I dont have it, and Im repeatedly told that the tracking says its delivered. Its an impossible run around. And then there was one agent who told me to contact UPS myself. And then three times my chat was disconnected for no reason and I had to start all over. Looks like Ill just have to cancel my entire order since the tracking shows its delivered and thats the end of it. Its a good thing I didnt cancel my current internet yet.I should add that this does not apply to this particular location, just the Fios online customer service.
Big store didnt have to wait
Verizon is a classic. We have been using their services since 2017 and they are very reliable with good prices.
Not a bad store. Some employees need to be less robotic and more human.
I Went To Purchase An I Phone 12 Pro.The Staff Said That They Didnt Have Change For A $100 Bill. I Go Two Blocks Get Change When I Return They Said Im Not Approved!!! Walked Across The Street To AT&T No Problem Getting The Phone. Weird Experience!!!
This is a comment about Verizon in general, and not this specific store. Why can’t I call a store directly. Every Verizon number connects you to a useless central answering agency that has incorrect information about the store. A few weeks ago, I was in Delaware and figured I would go to Verizon for a new iPhone while I was there because they have no sales tax. I call ahead and the lady says they have iPhone 12 mini 256gb in stock at the location I want to go to, so I drive over and turns out they don’t. I’m confused, so I call another verizon store in Delaware, am told the same thing, then show up and they do t have it. Did it a 3rd time and then finally the woman said we dont have it but let me check who does, and turned out that no one in a 50 mile radius has it... the person answering the phone didn’t know that the stores “stock” was already accounted for by another buyer. Whenever I try to call the store directly, I’m rerouted to a central answering agency and can’t be connected to the store “because of covid” and am told I have to go in person to the store to talk to them... how does that even make sense? I have to go in person because of covid? The worst part is that I ordered on iPhone 12 mini in philly on S Columbus blvd, and now it’s here but the guy tells me I can’t get it unless he is at the store because it’s locked under his codes. The store has a giant Verizon logo outside but turns out isn’t a Verizon store, it’s a TCC which is an authorized retailer. So now I can’t get in touch with anyone at an actual Verizon store and the guy at the “retailer” won’t let me have the phone unless he’s present, but I can’t get to him because I work the same hours as him. I’m so turned off to Verizon I don’t know what to do. End rant
Very perfect sell rep
Theyre apparently out of SIM cards. How does a cellphone store run out of SIM cards??
Verizon rep named Sebastian was more than helpful. Got me a great deal on a iPhone 12. Would recommend going here.
I had one of worse times in my life dealing with Verizon in downtown Philadelphia, PA. I ordered a device from Verizon that costed $100 dollars plus tax.. it was for a wireless handset operating system. instead of giving me a new phone # they gave me a used one so when I call someone the previous person name would show up. They tax everything. So when I went to return there device after having it for only 5days they charged me a restocking fee of $50 dollars plus tax. Stay away from Verizon..Im warning you.
I have been trying to reach someone at the store without success. My 86 year old mother was under the impression that she ordered a phone at your store on November 8, that was to be sent to your store. She has not received a phone call that a phone has come in for her. When calling Verizon, we are told that there is no order. Please help!
The staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful!
The service was BEYOND EXCELLENT
Is good place with good service
The Representative technical expertise was spot on. I had a problem with 2 Message Apps.
Josh was very nice and helpful.
Blake is the guy that helped me, extremely rude and unprofessional. Didn’t offer much help I will be switching from Verizon for this reason.
Gave them 5 stars, but I wish could give 10!! Victor aka Vic was more than helpful! And gave me his undivided attention and wealth of knowledge immediately! Their customer service at this location is truly the best, all other locations I’ve been to I’ve left stressed and upset and Vic completely erased my past experiences from my brain! Definitely will come back here instead of other locations.
69th street is not bad a little congested at times
Very helpful and all my questions were answered. With covid-19 one needs to be patient, only limited number allowed in store at any one time.
My MotoZ screen got broken so I went there for a repair since I have a warranty. After talking to two costumer representatives (who gave me an opposite information). I was told to call Asurion, which handles the insurance claim. When I asked if I can use one of the phones in the store, since my phone is broken, I was told that it is against the company policy. When I explained that the alterative is to wait for my wife to come from work with her phone in the evening and that I need the phone for my work, they said that waiting 8 hr for my wife seems to be the best option. If someone in the street will ask to make a phone call from my phone, Ill let him but for Verizon, a company which takes thousands of dollar every year from me, it doesnt make sense. Really poor costumer service, one phone call would have made a huge difference...
My fiancé and I visited this Verizon store about 3 weeks ago to start a family plan. It was a little more involved because she was coming from AT&T and activating a new phone whilst we were starting this new plan together. We were helped by an associate named Josh who was really excellent and incredibly helpful. If I’m being honest, I was dreading going to a Verizon store… but Josh handled everything exceptionally well and made the process painless. I’m much more inclined to revisit this store after having this experience.
They don’t even answer the phone tf they think they gonna get COVID through the phone
Cant start plan in store only online have no idea why
I went into this store yesterday for a billing issue that was never solved after being told it would be. I spoke with Joe the manager and he was great help, very understanding and the definition of customer satisfaction comes first. I was thinking about leaving Verizon from dealing with back to back issues but he made me want to stay.
Scam I order a iPhone 📱 12 pro and revive a empty box
Stopped in this morning to inquire about starting wireless service for a business line. The team was extremely helpful and polite. There was a gentleman that greeted me as soon as I walked in who was able to connect with the Business Specialist, Sheryl. She worked hard to get me exactly what I needed for my team of associates and at a great value! Thank you Sheryl and Luis for taking such great care of me today. We are all very happy with our new iPhones!
Don’t even bother going into the store they won’t let you in unless you are going to purchase some thing. The woman at the front door is very rude.
I want to be able to have the choice of paying my bill directly with a representative though, rather than always be directed to their machine to make my payments, even if there is a wait. With a representative we can ask any questions we might have and see that our payment is done correctly. The store is beautiful though, it’s a beautiful building with amazingly large windows and an amazingly designed space.
It was great he fixed my phone
Nice
Just went to pay my bill. Its easy never a wait. Employees are always friendly and helpful
I came in wanting to buy a new phone. Apparently my old phone had an CSI moment and bled through out the screen. And as I chose the new phone and the new designer cover my sales person turned on the TV and watch football the entire time. I can’t believe how horrible that was. I had questions and he kept staring at the TV. I will do everything and anything I can do to get out of this contract which will happen and then I will move on to another service because if that’s who you employ that’s absolutely frightening,
Tre was amazing most help I had in a very very long time. Well done
Life is not promised, live to its fullest.
Went in yesterday to activate my new android phone, and was told by a clerk that they dont do that in the store. He told me about the Content Transfer app, which I could not download on my new phone (because it was a new Pixel XL). Clerk gave me an info sheet about moving your data from an android phone to an iPhone (the Pixel isnt an iPhone).I got home and figured out how to copy my data over to my Pixel using Googles app, but the phone part is still not activated. Going to a different Verizon store today so they can actually active my phone. Theres a store only 2 blocks away with much better user reviews.
Good customer service. Wish I had gotten the name of the consultant who helped me. He assisted me in the past. He always seems to recommend the perfect product for me.
Worst experience ever. Immature staff that was rude and juvenile. I purchased a phone case was not given a receipt. I returned the item then the refunded was voided by the Verizon sales associates. I was told i was being difficult, when i asked to speak to a manager. I was then passed to other non manager employees who posed as managers. Its easy to see they sales associate simply was trying a small sale to make commission. Do not trust these thieves
These guys, after a long Black Friday, patiently and persistently helped my sister-in-law regain her password and get her new phone up and running! Brilliant and friendly.
Went in to ask for a warranty replacement for my iPhone. The order was taken and before the final order was sent, I didn’t get a chance to review the order. I went back to asking them to pull up the order so that i could confirm the model of the phone because there are two other people on the same account. The person up front was completely unhelpful and said that there is no way to pull up the order that was just sent. How is that an answer in this day and age? He was argumentative and dismissed whatever I said. This happened while the rest of the people at the front desk watched and smiled. How is this customer service??!! I asked for the manager who was among the people standing up front who then came up because I was upset and he pulls up the order and confirms that all went through properly. What irritates me is the fact that they seem to have a threshold in answering questions and to lie and say that there is no way to pull up an order placed is insane. I’d give it 0 stars if I could!!!! These are the kind of people who cause a company like Verizon to have a bad rap with customer service.
Loved it.
Its a Verizon like many other Verizon stores. Delivers all Verizon store needs. What more could you want from a Verizon store?
Service is prompt, fast, informative. Easy, large space if there is a wait. Staff is connected as youd expect.
I had a screen protector that I needed to put on my phone and I am with Verizon so I came here to do it! The store is beautiful and big! Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming except for the woman who put my screen protector on who was very reluctant and unfriendly. However it was done well, Ill definitely come back here to buy my next one since I work so close
Went first thing in the morning, only had 2 staff members on duty, sat for 30 minutes and still hadnt moved up in line. How a billion dollar company cant staff people or provide a restroom in their stores is beyond me...having people wait upwards of an hour with no opportunity to get a head start with my purchase/upgrade.
Save yourself the aggravation and order online. For real.
In out, can pay bills via kiosk here.
My wifes phone died yesterday, so we went by this location to pick up the pre-ordered replacement today. We were met by exactly the kind of treatment that scares me about the ongoing Covid lockdowns. One of the doors was actually chained shut, so we went to the other door. We were confronted by a very surly security guard who kept shouting at us to get behind the sign without any sort of explanation. The sign was just a little typical advertisement sandwich board sign to the side of the door, not some kind of warning or instructive sign. After the guard yelled this a few times, we figured out what exactly he meant, though he didnt clarify or even point to the sign behind which we were supposed to be getting ourselves. We were both wearing masks, so his super aggressive reaction was not due to our being unclean, in the parlance of this Brave New World were living in.In any case, we were able to at last pick up the phone once the actual store employee came out to figure out what we needed, but its this kind of petty authoritarian behavior being fostered that really concerns me about the pandemic. Well survive the virus, but history has taught us a lot about how accepting these little incidents of petty totalitarianism is very cumulatively dangerous in the long term. Ill be reporting this to the corporate support line as well. Despite our fears, we need to remain human and humane to one another.
Great service as soon as walked through the door they took care of me very polite and got my iphone like in 15 minutes going back in a week for an upgrade thanks
Convenient to my traveling
Very pushy sales woman. I went in with a friend to get his screen replaced. He had insurance so it should have been a quick stop. The woman tried to get him to upgrade his service....OK fine shes doing her job...But then she tried to sell us a memory stick, and a tablet. I used to be in sales so I understand quotas but there are tactics that are used to not sound or be pushy.....
Nice store. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Always prefer visiting a corporate store over a franchise.
In 15 minutes, they sold me a new phone, added it to my line, and took care of an issue with another line. They had exactly what I needed, and there was no BS. Mike was an especially helpful sales person.
Excellent service
What a difference in knowledge compared to the dump on 23 rd and Oregon !
The sales staff did a great job helping me set up the phone that I wanted (which was, in fact, in stock). They were friendly and efficient. My only complaint is that there seemed to be a little confusion on the various plans, offers, discounts, etc. that Verizon offers. However, I think this is something the company itself should improve upon (rather than the employees), as their various plans are so fractured and disorganized that it makes it hard to compare and choose the appropriate one.
Went in for the new iPhone upgrade yesterday and worked with Sam. She was super nice, knowledgable and helpful! Great customer service overall everyone seemed helpful and I met the manager, Ashley, who was also quite nice. Seems like they have really turned stuff around since past reviews, Ill definitely go back to this location in the future!
Short patience and act like they wanting to do everything but their job was a horrible experience Ive been with Verizon for yearsand Ive never been treated so rudely
This particular location is terrible. Ive been here before several years ago and although the sales people have changed, their professionalism has not. Its still bad. I wasted my lunch waiting for an answer about a product they could have given me when I came in. Avoid the 15th and Walnut Sts. store. Go to the Market Street between 11th and 12th they are much better.
Very nice store tons of inventory and the guy a spoke with was extremely knowledgeable.
Went in on Saturday and had a very great experience. Anthony and Gina took care of me from the get go. Not pushy at all. Gave me multiple options for what I was looking for.
Great customer service I cant complain five stars
I called to ask some questions about my phone to see when the upgrade would be avaible. I the person answering the phone was very short and abrupt. If fact when we were done with the phone call I said thank you and he just hung up. I was planning on going to this store because it was closer to my home. Im definitely going back to wireless zone at 920 walnut. They have always been so pleasant and helpful.
We got unbelievably fast service here, even though we didnt have an appointment. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave us some great pointers on our phone discounts
This Verizon store is great good service and was satisfied
Went in to get a new phone for the first time in 4 years. I have been a Verizon customer for 14 years. Every time I got a new phone (within two different states mind you) they would update my phone for me in store and let me know all promotions and any add-on phone accessories available. The guy I dealt with at this store was just not happy to be at work. Apparently at this store, not only do they not update your phone for you, they wouldnt even take the phone out of the box so I can see a case for the phone. In addition, I have no idea if I have any coverage on this phone. After 4.5 hours and just dealing with an Apple customer service through chat rather than Verizon again, I was able to finally update my phone. If there are any other store options around you, I recommend going there.
Very comfortable store but no deals here! I was ready to sign a contract for two years and spend over 500.00 with them if they would give me an otter box to protect the phone but they would not and tried to sell me more cap I didnt need so I said toodle loo
People very helpful keep up good work
The Kiosk instructions have been simplified . No line . Easy in and out self service .
Long wait but the guy who serviced me kept looking at his watch like I was keeping him from something more important. Didnt sell me the specific phone I asked for
Helpful. They have answers and merchandise.
Excellent! Hey Verizon can I get a discount?
A block from the subway. Usually not too crowded and often someone there to help you. Also can pay your bill at the kiosks
I got great advice. Know what you need before hand
They are awesome there and the new manager Victor is awesome
The offer the best customer service in Philly. Everytime I bring them a problem they find a solution. It make take time but they hang in there and bring resolution! Its worth the dollars!
This is a good Verizon store. Thanks to Dez for the great help with my Xperia.
Gabby was very helpful. She made my visit enjoyable.
Ive been a customer of Verizon for almost two decades and I have to say that the staff at this location made this the best experience Ive had with Verizon to date.
They made sure my issue was resolved before I left their store. Thank you Sebastian!
Hands down one of the best Verizon stores Ive ever been too. They got every phone and accessory your heart could desire
Just visited this store to get my sons fractured iPhone replaced. Within 5 minutes of arrival we were being helped by Camille who was totally amazing. She pointed out that my son had insurance and wed be much better off making a claim. Then she also suggested buying a case to protect the replacement. Finally, she suggested I might be eligible for a discount from my company so she looked up my name and company and voila Im saying 15% on my data plan. Camille rocks! This is definitely where Im coming on the day my phone is eligible for discounted upgrade.
Amazing customer service and attention to detail. Very concerned about whatever I was concerned about. Even stayed late to help me out. Great team over there on market Street and 17th. Thank you
It was the best location for the store.
Nice and clean. Everyone very nice.
Good service but they couldnt help me with my phone
In and out fairly quickly
Largest phone-centric store in the city... They have all thing phone related and some that are only tangentially related. Friendly large staff which minimized waiting.
One on one service. They explain everything til you are satisfied.
Quick and easy! In and out with no issues or drama.
Great store. Helpful staff, and a well-stocked phone selection.
These guys are prone to lie to get the sale. The rep insisted that if I signed up for a phone that I would incur no charges unless I activated the phone. I signed up, then cancelled and returned the phone unopened about two week later and had to wrangle with them for weeks to remove the charges. Apparently the phone does automatically activate if you dont call within a few days. I still ended up paying 82 bucks even though I never even turned the phone on and returned it within their return policy window. They then gave me a runaround for a long time about the fees when I tried to get a description of the remaining charges. Be extremely careful dealing with the salespeople at this location.
I went here and they were completely incapable of helping me at all. They told me to call customer service even though that is literally their job titles. They made me wait for a half an hour even though the people working there were doing seemingly nothing. Before I went there I checked their hours and saw all of their bad reviews. I couldnt believe it until I went to the store and realized they were all 100% true.
I was very impressed with this store. They were nice and they were super helpful and quick despite being busy as hell and it being the holiday season.
