Customer service has been abysmal since day 1. I was originally interested in a 2006 Honda Civic that was on their Glenside lot. Upon request, they said it was more than likely going to be purchased so they invited me in to look at the 2008 Toyota Camry they had on site. I agreed, even though the price was a little more than what I could afford. When I asked what happened with the Civic, they told me it had been sold. My dad and I agreed test drove the Camry, bargained with Xavier for close to 2 hours to bring the price down to a $6,000 total. We brought up our concern that the car alignment was off and he told us it was probably because of the rain making the roads wet, which is clearly a lie even to someone who is novice with cars. We noticed the car was filthy, and there were no mats on the floors. Xavier told us it was so that the customers wouldnt dirty them up, and they would be placed upon signing.After signing, I was given the car, with no mats, and only 1 key. When asked where the mats were and had him check with detailing, there were in fact no mats for this car. He told me he would put in an order for them and they would be in in about a week. When I check the Honda pre-owned cars page, the 2006 Honda Civid is STILL listed, and was even cheaper since I had gone in.A week passes, I receive no call and decide to sit down with the manager. The mats had not been ordered, he told me he would get me a discount on the key, because they are not in the business of making keys for used cars how it comes to them is how they sell it. Im even informed that they will, again, order the mats, meaning an order had not even been placed. Given the car was filthy, I asked if the car would be cleaned again and they agreed. I brought it in the next day and these are pictures I took after the car was supposed to have been cleaned. Regardless of a global pandemic, I should NOT be driving a car off a respectable lot that looked like this. The photos are from after the second detailing The only difference was the tires were cleaned, the windows and mirrors had been wiped, and the floor was vacuumed. There were still stains and mysterious stickiness everywhere.Allegedly, this car is inspected until 1/22, meaning it is safe to drive and everything is running smoothly. I already replaced the upper engine mount and it cost me $129 for part and labor. My check engine light had turned on not 2 weeks after purchase, telling me there is a misfiring.A family friend reads the error and checks it out. The spark plugs obviously needed to be changed and from the get-go, you could see the locks on each of the 4 spark plug covers were broken. With enough driving, they can pop out of place because theyre not secure. 1 out of the 4 ignition coils are an improper size. Not to mention, when they were being taken out, they noticed my engine had oil in it and each spark plug was covered with oil. The gasket is clearly old and needs to be replaced, which is likely what gave me the misfire. Needless to say, left unchecked, can cause imminent mechanical failure.I would say whoever passed this car through inspection without having fixed the gasket or replaced the incorrect ignition coil did not do a great job. And I kept letting things slide from the beginning, but I just thought I would let people know my experiences. My calls go unanswered, my voicemails are left without acknowledgment. Its incredibly hard to get anyones attention, and if the only way to do that is to leave pictures of proof and a long review, so be it. Because now, I have to get my tires realigned, I have to get my ignition coils changed, and I need to replace a gasket, all of which should have been done before a customer bought it and drove it off the lot.EDIT: they changed out the leaking gasket and oil valve, as well as realigned my car and finally bought the floor mats. Im still not completely satisfied, as this should have been done before I bought the car, not a month later after a 1-star review.

On my 2013 Accord EX-L V6, the work on my power steering was done via an extended warranty. I thought the problem wouldnt be cared for under a warranty forcing me to sell a car I really like. But, Sloane offered the warranty willingly. And so far, all is well with the car.I also appreciated my service attendants follow-up on the matter. Nicole offered frequent updates, and was very personable during our interactions. She is a true asset to the service department. Thanks for all of your help, Nicole.

I just left Sloane Honda for the oil change I was supposed to be getting for my car, my appointment was at 10:15. At 12:30 I asked Cameron if my car was ready, and he said they haven’t even started. I left this dealership with no oil change, now I have to wait another 2 days and take it somewhere else that can get a simple job done!!This place is ridiculous they have moral for their customers!!! I will never be coming back here or recommending anyone to come here!!!Do better Sloane honda!!!

Eddie the manager was very pleasant and friendly. His energy was very welcoming. I left with a good memorable experience. I came in for a oil change and ended up purchasing a new car, Khalil my sells rep played a huge part in that. Because of his kindness patience and honesty it helped me make the right decision. I love my new car and so happy I came back to Honda for the second time to get my vehicle. I will be referring this Honda dealership to friends and family!

I am writing this review 4 years after my purchase. Igor was the best salesman Ill probably ever get. No games, completely straightforward and gave me exactly what I needed in my price range. No haggling and typical tactics. The car NEVER had a problem. Wonderful car that I loved. Traded it in a few days ago and had an absolutely awful experience at Pine Belt Subaru that really had me wishing I was looking for another Honda so I could have had another great experience with Igor. Highly recommend him and his honesty.

The day I purchased my 2018 Honda H-RV from Sloane Honda, I had planned on giving a rating of 4-5 stars. Im glad I held off with my rating because of the following reasons: I was told by the salesman that the scratches and a dent on the car would be taken care of and he also told me he would get me new hubcaps. The hubcaps are ridiculously scraped & knocked up. I was told that the man who takes care of that wasnt at the dealership at the time. I was told to bring the car back in 2 weeks. When I brought the car back for the man to fix the dent, scratches & replace the hubcaps, he told me he only works with dents. So here I am months later with a car that has a bunch of scratches & the hubcaps look aweful because they are so scratched up. I didnt haggle for a lower price I took the car at their asking price. Since the salesman seemed so genuine when he told me all of these things would be taken care of. I thought the salesman was very helpful only to learn that once I purchased the car, he wasnt going to come thru with what he said. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and feel that Honda shouldnt have salesmen that are blatant liars. I thought I would have gotten a response to my review, for them to follow thru with what they said but 3 months now and no response. As for the service Dept, they are great and give them 5 stars. They take care of their customers. I really wanted to give a 5 star review my experience with the dealership was great until they didnt follow thru with what they told me they would fix.

Avoid Sloane Honda Service!!They have a terrible service manager, who denies your warranty coverage by incorrectly claiming the described problem as fine.Please take a look at the pictures below for the edge of sunroof, which is fully closed. You SHOULD BE WARE that if you find a problem after purchasing a vehicle, you are going to have a hard time to use the warranty.Yes, according to the manager, a platform sticking up from the sunroof is fine as long as the sunroof closes and opens. Even though the vehicle is still under the new car warranty, as long as it works, Honda Service is not going to make it right.Because he is the manager, he can turn down any service request by just saying no. If you are lucky, he might conjure a non-sense excuse to cast you out. There is no way you can argue with him because he is the ONLY MANAGER in the office.If you buy the extended warranty, you might just be prepare for suffering from the terrible service from Sloane Honda Service and regret it.

My 2017 Honda Pilot had a misfire, I already knew that it needed fuel injectors .....Sloane Honda did the repair in less than a day and didnt charge me a cent...it was covered under an extended Honda warranty. The best part about my experience is how nice Stephen (service advisor) was. He got straight to the point and even gave me a car wash. He made me aware of my tire warranty that I didn’t even know I had, so services were free. Last time I was here the service advisor charged me over $100 for a new tire. I’ll be asking for Stephen all the time when I come here for services!! 👏🏻

Upon getting my car back I’m seeing as though something is wrong with my starter because now my car doesn’t stRt right up. When they mess people’s cars up like this they should offer same day service not a appointment a week away. So, we bought a Honda CR-V from Larry in early July, he was a good salesman, no real issues there. Fast forward to the last 2 week, 90 days since the sale and delivery. We realized that the temp registration was about to expire and no registration card from the state had arrived. I called the dealership 3 separate times over a week and a half time and got a run around each time. Then, when I finally spoke to Eddie the finance manager who actually did the paperwork, he was gonna look into this issue and would call me right back. (He NEVER did, shocker). Several days later a registration card arrived dated 9/28. So they charged us their inflated service fees and NEVER registered the car with Harrisburg. Had I not contacted them, the tag would still be listed as in transit (not assigned to a vehicle). To top it off, their Notary Public was no where in sight when the documents were signed (fraud), they never verified or documented the actual notary in person. No referral was sent to the person who referred us as promised. Come on, you need to do a better job to finalize the actual deal🤨. I am usually a great referral source, gotta say I will think twice before I send someone here.

I go in today and am told parts take a week to come in. It would have never been a problem to wait the week from the start. I had my 3rd experience working with Tim Graham at Sloane Honda in July 2020. He was wonderful as always, very helpful and knowledgable. Due to the current covid crisis, Tim helped me do as much as possible over the phone/online and everything was ready to go for me when I arrived for my appointment, limiting my time in the showroom. I was also comforted to see that all staff members were wearing masks inside the showroom. Love my car but I wont purchase from this location again. I received a car with no cup holders and no spare key. I was so excited, as this was my first car, so cup holders and a spare key were the last thing on my mind. I called back after the fact and I was completely disregarded and was told I had to purchase these items on my own. I spent thousands and you cant even give me cup holders or a spare key? Dont even get me started on the condition of the floor mats. Their attitude was basically, we made our sale, we got your money, now leave us alone. Now later they want $320 for a new key!!! Buyer beware!Terrible experience! I went there and found the perfect car, agreed upon a price, put a $500 deposit on it and signed a sales agreement. There were a few scratches on the car that we’re going to take a few days to fix so they said I could pick it up the following Monday. In the interim, I sold my current car to a co-worker who needed a it for her family, with the expectation that I would be getting a new one and transferring the tags etc on Monday. Saturday, I get a call from the sales guy telling me they are going to sell it to someone else coming from out of state and they are paying more money. What!! This is insane! How is this even possible? I was there in person, put a deposit down and even on the sales agreement, we had Monday as the date of purchase. he said, ultimately they made a mistake in the price and needed to sell it for more because the repair on the scratches were going to cost more than expected. I would’ve bought the car with the scratches in it if that was the case. The salesman told me he explained the issue to the owner and ultimately it was the owners call. He apologized and said he agrees that it’s a messed up thing that happened. He told me he would refund my money but beyond that there was nothing he could do.This experience really screwed me over. it took them almost 2 weeks and many phone calls to refund my deposit, so, I couldn’t put it toward another vehicle till I had the money. I ended up having to rent a car on my credit card to get to work for two weeks before I found another one.I have every single thing documented. text messages, signed agreements, deposit receipts. It all means nothing. None of it legally holds the dealer accountable to sell you the car or make things right.

Had my first new car shopping experience on Sept 16, 2017. Went there to drop my 02 Malibu since its no longer fit for work. The salesman Chi Lo and manager Joe Strano, were both very helpful with the shopping process. I ended up leasing a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring to be used for work/errands, Chi Lo, is very knowledgeable and patient in describing all the bells and whistles that came with the car. The Honda sense and Android Auto is definitely a fun feature to have. I will most definitely come back again to buy one for personal use next time around.

I need to speak with the general manager. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership last year with window tints & a passed inspection. I took my car to two different shops today that told me my car could not pass inspection because of the tints. When I called back to sloane to see why the car was illegally passed, I was told to come back & they would inspect it. I was transferred to the service department & basically was told to explain the situation to the person & they would see what they could do. I was transferred back to Mike the sales manager & he gave me the nastiest attitude as if I was inconveniencing him. No one seemed to want to help with a situation that they caused. I asked to be transferred to his boss & was transferred to another manager who was not the general manager & was met with the same attitude. I do not appreciate this at all & will be reporting this inspection shop if I do not hear back from a gm in a timely Manner.Update: While the manager said that I will be reimbursed. I have not received a check and its been over a month now. He has not responded to my emails with an update on when a check will be sent to me.

Worse customer service - doesn’t seem like they were interested in the sale at all - never approached, when we did ask for someone that guy was terrible - will never buy a car from Sloan Honda again

The worst experience I ever had. This is the third time I am buying car from Sloane Honda and it was always a good experience expect this time. Xavier Hammond was my salesperson. It felt like he had no intention to sell the car. He didn’t have straight answers to any questions we asked. Everything was a straight “NO” to him before even confirming with his manager. When we talked to the manger finally, he had totally opposite of everything this guy had said. To an extend he was saying they didnt have the colors we asked for when they clearly had it in stock. He left us at the table for hours unattended. It felt like he was forcing us to choose from what he was offering rather than giving us what we want. We had to keep asking him the final price for the car and he kept ignoring it. I kept asking him for the price tag and description they keep on every car and his answer was this car don’t have it which I later found it inside the car. They offer full tank gas for the new car and our car was not even half way filled which we had to drive back there the next day to refill.

I was in the market for a new car, and my rep, Anthony (Tony) Strazzeri, was phenomenal in keeping up in contact with me every step of the way during this long and arduous process. He made the process rather easy and was helpful in getting me a very reasonable price for the car. Even when we were looking at other competitors, Anthony kept up in communication. Unfortunately my first car (bought from this location) was rear-ended, and subsequently totaled last week.I expected to be completely stressed out having to pick out and buy a new vehicle, but my salesman, Chris Miranda made it a simple, stress-free process. Purchased a vehicle here two weeks ago. Sent a follow-up email about my experience to my sales associate who couldnt be bothered to reply to me. Glenn...not a lot of individual attention there. He speeds thru that Sloane dealership at a pace Ive only seen from the drug-fueled. Just my observation. ANYWAY. Got absolutely no deal on my ride whatsoever, they sent me off with a completely empty gas tank, and Im still waiting for my vehicle registration to show up. And why do these dealerships feel the need to brand your vehicles body with their dealership stamp? Totally ruins the vehicle and SO annoying after youve already put your SLOANE HONDA license plate frame on it. So much that I am not impressed with at Sloane Honda. Buy your car someplace else.

I saw a car online and met with Tim Graham a perfect gentlemen. He is very polite and not a high pressure salesman. He accompanied new on the test drive and was a good listener to what I was looking for. His has an excellent grasp of the technical aspects of Honda vehicles and was able to explain my questions in laymans language. Loved the last experience at Sloane.. I was having an oil leak on my 2017 Ridgeline.. come to find out the last oil change by lube master tech.. didnt tighten both the oil filter and drain plug was 3 qts low by the time it was corrected.. Honda didnt charge me a single thing and topped me off.. my service advisor was Kim.. she is fantastic

Great dealership. I actually visited two other dealerships in the area before deciding to buy with Sloane. Staff was very courteous and calm. No salesman aggression like the other dealerships. Ryan, my sales person was very nice and had a great understanding of the business and also attended to our personal needs for a vehicle as a family. Overall great experience. Would recommend the dealership to any friend.
